“They specialize in Gorditas and they definitely make a quality Gordita. Super flavorful, the salsa reminds me of the one my mom makes. They have tons of options too, vegetarian (rajas con queso), pescatarian (shrimp and papas), etc. The chorizo and papas and the chile verde were delicious. Love that their chicharrón is a combination of meat, chicharrón, and buche. Highly recommend, just keep in mind if that area is busy especially from the nearby brewery parking is a hassle. Calling ahead would be advised as well since everything is made fresh and takes awhile.

Parking: Was difficult finding parking on the weekend. So keep that in mind.“

No msg and the food is top knoch and great. The services I had from them were all excellent. They delivered food to Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego for me. This company is so awesome.“

Their cornbread hits different as it’s not the typical cornbread some of you think. EVERY thing on the menu is good. I literally tried everything. When the banana pudding ice cream is in stock, do yourself a favor and grab one if you can!

The sales and planning coordination team were exemplary, especially David and Tamica, who were consistently responsive through email and communication.The venue itself is stunning, and May proved to be the perfect time for a wedding. We chose Wedgewood Rio Hondo primarily due to its convenient location and its nearly all-in-one solution. While I had to handle many wedding details myself, the ability to choose from a selection of vendors within a single package was a significant advantage.David, our coordinator, was exceptional. He made the entire process stress-free and even assisted with my bridal veil hair accessory, which was a thoughtful touch.The only slight downside was the reception. “I've tried just about everything on the menu at Shady Grove Foods and nothing disappoints. I can close my eyes and put my finger on the menu and I would be happy wherever it landed. I had Sticky Bones again tonight and I'm as thrilled as the first time I tried them and all the other times I've had them and in fact I feel like tonight's were the best ever. I seriously enjoy their food and hospitality. The hardest part is driving back to Cal Heights without opening the box and start eating. “My friend and I heard about a special type of chili Relleño that was topped with a walnut sauce and pomegranate seeds. It is called chili en nogada. They have it here, and it was spectacular. The special ingredients compliment each other. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. We sat outside where they have a beautiful garden with fruit trees. including pomegranate, passion, and avocados. I've added a picture of the chili cut in half. Must try!“

“I cannot say enough good things about Basil Pizza Bar. First and foremost, the pizza and all the food was great! I am something of a pizza snob, and this was really wonderful. “I am absolutely blown away by Above All Catering! The team was so sweet, professional, and accommodating. I was looking for a catering company for my engagement party and came across Above All Catering on Instagram.

My fiancé and I had a tasting at their head quarters in Anaheim, CA with Danielle. We were greeted by her asking if we wanted anything to drink and was escorted to their tasting room (which had the most beautiful table setting). Their glassware, chargers, plates, and cutlery were top tier and from my understanding you can rent those out. So that is a bonus! They also had a menu customized to what we wanted to try for our tasting. We started off with appetizers, salads, main courses, and finishing it off with dessert. We then met our chef Marcos and were able to ask Danielle and Marcos any questions we had. We wanted the theme of our party to be "That's Amore" and appreciated that they were able to come up with a menu to match the theme and we also upgraded to adding in a bar service. The whole team was very attentive and keen on those details, so we were excited to have them on board for our party.

On the day of our event, they arrived early, greeted us, and served the food and drinks on time. The food and drinks were so delicious; my guests could not stop raving at how yummy it was! Not only did we love the food and drinks, but we also admired how well the team exceeded our expectations.

“This is a great little out of the way place in a strip mall type situation. There is not a ton of parking but it's just enough.

There was live music by a acoustic guitarists. That was really cool. I wasn't expecting that. It really added to the atmosphere. Our waiter was great and really knew his stuff on the menu, and had a fantastic attitude.

I ordered the pizza, which was overcooked. Don't get me wrong, I like a crispy crust, but this was definitely overdone. However, the others in my party really enjoyed their food. One of them got the lasagna, which I was going to get. I probably should have. He said it was pretty awesome. So, who knows.

The food hall is quite nice and well kept. There is a receptionist available for instruction if you’re unfamiliar with how cloud kitchens work. And of course, the food from Cena Vegan is always top notch.“

The food was great and believe me you will not be disappointed. The staff was very nice and easy to work with in particular the two ladies that worked with me and help me to put together my party in a short period of time, Roberta and Sandra….Roberta in particular has a good sense when it comes to ideas to decorate… you just need to tell her what theme you want for your party and she make sure that everything goes accordingly to your taste. She listened and within your ideas and her inputs I can guarantee you that everything will come out BEAUTIFUL. My theme was “Havana Night “ and everything came out better than I expected…So if you look for a place to have fun and created memories that will last forever, I would highly recommended this place !!“
