“Family owned and operated truck located in Boyle Heights / East LA area that specializes in tacos arabes and goodies from Puebla in general. The tacos arabes were a result of Lebanese immigrants to the area and boy are they delicious. I came here later on a Thursday night so it wasn't very busy and it was pretty chill. Just a few other people around me. The folks here were friendly and helpful. I ordered:A taco arabe especiale- their signature taco with their marinated roast pork on this soft flower tortilla. This was topped Oaxacan cheese and slices of avocado (especiale). There was this chipotle sauce on top of everything. The sauce added some smokiness to an already great flavor and texture profile. I really liked that flour tortilla. Quesadilla de flor de calabaza - zucchini blossoms with melted Oaxacan cheese inside a blue corn tortilla. Love corn and I love this. Nice and chewy with earthy and slightly sweet flavors to go along with their delicious salsaDefinitely recommend for tacos/ quesadillas etc etc or if you are just in the mood for something a little different.“

“4++ this taco truck came up on my search when I was looking for good tacos in the area. The person I ordered from was friendly. The truck seems to be a super popular spot in the area. I got my usual when going to a new truck / taqueria, etc. - a mulita and some tacos. In this case, I got a carne asada mulita (very large) and three tacos - Al pastor, cabeza, and a pescado. I thought every thing I ordered was tasty and well done with my favorite prob being the Al pastor taco and the mulita. I like that they give you pretty much everything you need in the form of small cups and baggies. I came on the later side on a Friday evening. Just got out of the gym and was leaving the area and I was hungry. So I sat in one of the provided stools and used another stool to dress up my stuff. It wasn't as busy as I was expecting on a Friday night but maybe I beat the late night rush. It was kind of a dark area and not a lot of foot traffic so parking was really easy to find.“

Not many places have goat birria, and most of the time, they tend to be too dry. Those quesatacos were super tender, juicy, cheesy, and packed with tons of spices and flavors. “This is my go to spot on Taco Tuesday and a couple other days a week if I can afford it. Even though all goods are purchased at an all time high and wages being stagnant, I by a bunch of tacos and hum when I devour them. No Taco truck brings me into heaven when I eat these al pastor tacos. When I undulge into 6 al pastor tacos there is nothing but peace and tranquility as I take each bite. My children live it too. The young lady that takes the orders is super nice along with (I believe) the owner. I get a kick out of the guy that takes my order he just seems so happy he bounces up and down and says your total will be ONLY....(then the price). That tickles my tummy to death The lady will totally have a conversation with my kids. To me that is service because not only do my kids feel heard and my order gets placed.... Now you're thinking theres no way the food is fresh if its served on a truck. Well the quality and textures here are 5 stars. My friends and I ordered the Tacos de Camaron, Poseidon and Mixta. The octopus and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Not too chewy and the combination of citrus with their house made salsa were perfect. Between the 4 of us this was plenty of food. Prices are reasonable and portions are great. Wait times can be long, but well worth it. Theres a big parking lot across the street and plenty of street parking around the corner. “The tacos with queso and nachos were the best. The vampiros and the mulitas were okay. I like that they serve "La Dichosa" with a large cup of consome and 3 different salsas as seen in the picture. “This is one of 3 reviews, that will have the same introduction! I decided to do my own version of a "taco crawl" and tested out 3 taco trucks I've driven by and have been wanting to try out! All 3 are in the SGV, and I'm SO glad to have tried them! El Pastorcito Taco II is outside of the Arcadia Park off Santa Anita Ave & just south of Huntington Drive. Based on the name, Al Pastor is their specialty, so naturally I picked out the Al Pastor taco! With a smokey flavor, onions & cilantro and a nicely sliced piece of pineapple topping the taco, it was worth the $2.50 it cost, and was rich in taste! Staff here were friendly, though it wasn't a super busy weekday evening. No seating here, which is totally fine, and it is by a big parking lot, so plan ahead to eat in your car, especially since you want to eat it hot & fresh! No worries though, everything comes on a Styrofoam tray, works great! A decent variety of other items on their menu as well - definitely a go-to when I want to get some legit al pastor tacos!“

Unfortunately, we only had $15 cash so all we could get were two mulitas and a taco. The owner told us not to worry and to order what we wanted and that we could come back and pay him tomorrow which is unheard of. We felt bad so told him not to worry and stuck to our original order. Well when we got our food I thought they made a mistake because we had an extra sope and 3 extra tacos. Brought it to their attention and turns out it was on the house! Couldn't believe that. “Who doesn't love cupcakes!? While out and about, I came across Coco’s Lip Smacking Cupcakes. The sign said it all for me and I had to check it out. When I entered, the space was very clean, organized, and just very appealing to the eye. The aesthetic was very cute and definitely my vibe. They offer a bunch of different yummies including cookies, cake, cobbler, and of course, cupcakes. The lady was very sweet and helpful. I went with a dozen cupcakes. I got a variety of different flavors. I got red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, cookies & cream, and a few others.The cupcakes were so good!! “Went around 8 pm. Wasn't busy at all, pretty lonely honestly. We found parking right away (it's street parking). What felt like 10-15 minutes after ordering we received our order. If we talk about presentation... from what I saw on Instagram honestly it disappointed me. But tasty wise, it was good. The best I've had? No but it was good. I would go back again. The papas preparadas were the best out of the three items we ordered.“
