Champa Garden Reviews
Delicious and friendly little neighborhood spot near the lake. My fake duck curry was delicious! Bonus points for letting us bring our bikes inside.
5 stars for food, but giving 4 because historically their phone almost never rings properly, and their hostess told me last call was 9:45pm when I called earlier today but they actually close at 9 🤦🏻♀️ Their website also doesn’t work properly… so yeah amazing food but management could really use some work.

Champa Garden is a unique and authentic restaurant in East Oakland, offering a cultural fusion of Thai, Lao, and Tai Lue cuisine. The restaurant has a homey atmosphere and friendly service, with reasonable prices and a wide range of dishes to choose from. Standout items include the rice ball salad, Lao sausage, and basil fried rice, which are all freshly prepared and full of flavor. Customers praise the quality and consistency of the food, with the Lao and Thai dishes being particularly well-received. The restaurant is known for its family-run nature and attentive service, creating a pleasant dining experience. While fried dishes may not travel as well, the restaurant's noodles, vegetables, and soups are all tasty and worth trying. Champa Garden is a great spot to explore and enjoy with friends, with a menu that showcases the diverse flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine.
