Jade Palace Reviews
I love their Chicken Fried Rice. That's basically all I have ordered because it's a taste that I just keep coming back for. It's a walk in, window service. I have received good service, no long wait times. The atmosphere doesn't really look like very much, but it's the rice I order that I look forward to always coming back. I think they serve it in only a large size box, which is what I want. The rice is very flavorful and filling and seasoned enough that I don't put any soy sauce...read full review

Jade Palace is a Chinese restaurant that offers a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian options like tofu and veggie entrees. The fried rice and chow mein are particularly praised. One standout dish is the fried crab, which should be requested to be cleaned. The shrimp fried rice is also a popular choice. The lemon pepper chicken nuggets are a favorite among customers, who appreciate their freshness and tenderness. The restaurant is known for its large menu, generous portions, and decent pricing, making it a good choice for takeout, especially for groups and gatherings. It has a bright atmosphere compared to other places around and is considered by some as the best Chinese restaurant in Oakland. The staff could be friendlier, and customers should be aware that paying by credit card may incur an extra fee, so bringing cash is recommended. The potstickers are deep-fried and thick, with only pork ones available. Some dishes can be a little salty or greasy, but overall the food remains delicious. The fried crab and lemon pepper chicken nuggets are highly recommended, and the chicken fried rice and salted fish are also well-liked. The restaurant has a simple, take-out friendly vibe with a massive menu and generous servings.
