“Best subway around! If you’re lucky enough and get Laura to make your sandwich, it’ll be the greatest subway sandwich ever. I don’t know what she does different but the bread is baked so good, and she builds the sandwich perfectly! Love this subway!

“I am a student at the college nearby and this subway is a regular stop! It’s open till 1am so if I am up late studying it’s a very easy place to walk to. It’s also included on the meal card for the dorms!!

It is a family owned business and the family is wonderful! The owners name is Bobby and it is always a pleasure to talk to him! I’ve never seen him be angry, disrespectful or discriminating to any of the customers (even when I myself would have acted differently). He is such a happy person that you can’t help making friends with :)!!

“Wow!! So glad I stopped in today , had the classic sandwich .. BBQ sauce,beef shoulder(very tender and beautiful smoke flavor)coleslaw, all on a toasted sourdough roll. My side was Grandma's potato salad. Also amazing. Price point was very reasonable because you can tell this is a mom.and pop spot and I'm pretty sure the owner was working the register

“Been supporting this place most of my teens and college years, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lot of variety such as , pho , Banh Mi , snacks , drinks and anyone looking for ready to go food. Come early sometimes lines can be long. Expect delays too , sometimes they are short staff and get help from security which really is a great help to them.“

“It had been a long time since we had been to Tony Baloney’s. This is definitely an establishment in the region and is a down to earth/hole in the wall environment. This was one of my grandfather’s favorite places to grab a sandwich especially their pepper steak sandwich. We highly recommend a pepper steak sandwich with some of the Carolina sauce on it. “Great first experience! I was traveling back through Folsom and saw that this place had plant-based meats. I tried both the Impossible steak and plant-based turkey, on separate mini sandwiches, to be clear. To make it vegan, I omitted the mayo and cheese. Both were still so delicious, as were the fries! The service was great as well. The gentleman that helped take our order was super pleasant, answered all our questions and was so patient with us. I really hope a shop opens up closer to me, otherwise I will be stopping back through the next time I'm in the area.“

“This might be the best Subway in the greater Sacramento area. They are generous with the portions, sauces, & seasonings, the staff, especially the owner (or maybe manager), are so nice & yes they do accept EBT for anyone on the hot meals program. The food seemed better than other Subways I've been to in the region. Water/ice cups are free if you need one. If you're in the northern area of Sacramento this is the Subway you want to go to if you're craving it. I got a free cookie with my meal too ❤️“

The only reason I give it a 4 not a 5 star cause the sandwich artist put on too much vinegar on my sub for my taste.. Partially my fault cause I wasn't paying attention. “I've been a couple times and I'm very happy to have found it.

The first time I went, I had a cold and was wearing a mask. It made communication really difficult. They misheard my order and I felt bad but they completely remade the order and were completely kind about it the whole way through. The couple times I've gone back have been much smoother and everyone has been just as kind as before.

None of that really unless the food is good though, and it is! I've had bagel breakfast sandwiches and regular sandwiches. Both were very tasty!“

I ordered a HOT pastrami I watched my sandwich open waiting for the next person on the assembly line tane several minutes to put lettuce and a pickle. when I got my sandwich the pastrami was luke warm and by the time I got back to work the pastrami was cold. go back to 1 person makes the sandwich from star to finish. this assembly line people standing around while food gets cold!! I have been eating #9 since the 70's.“
