“Loved the atmosphere! Stopped in on our way up north for work and the food was excellent service was friendly and coffee was on point! Try the Camaguey sandwich with turkey and guava jam… and their Moros y Cristianos was the best I’ve ever had! Beans were perfect and the rice tasted so moist almost like risotto. Great plantains.. I had the Cortadito coffee and it was delicious!”

“I’m from Pasadena and missing the delicious food and restaurants, so when I found Uliveto’s I was so happy! I’m hooked on the clams in a white wine and garlic sauce with pasta. Dipping their delicious crunchy French bread in the sauce is divine! I came back a second time asking for their clams and it wasn’t on the menu, but the owner overheard my disappointment so asked the chef and they made them special for me.”

“Hanohano Shave Ice is an absolute gem! Their rainbow shave ice is hands-down the best I’ve ever had. The ice is so soft and fluffy, unlike other shave ice where you have to crush the ice with your teeth. Every single bite was perfectly saturated with flavor. It’s like I was eating a cloud of sweetness! What makes it even better is their exceptional customer service. Diana and Shaq were so friendly! They truly came through for my wife’s pregnancy cravings. They made the whole experience extra special, and I felt so cared for. If you’re looking for a place that serves not only amazing shave ice but also makes you feel right at home, Hanohano Shave Ice is it. I’ll definitely be back for more and will recommend any time!! “This was my first time here and it was so much fun and very friendly atmosphere. Shoutout to the bartender, Crystal, who ran the show. I had the chocolate mint wine. It was delicious, and everyone else wanted some, but they ran out, so if you want some, call ahead to be sure they have enough, and that it is on ice.”
