“My favorite bakery. I love their cheesecake. It's the only cheesecake I will eat. It's smooth and creamy. I also love their cookies and cupcakes. My go to bakery when I'm craving something sweet. They also make the best Bûche de Noël. I ordered it every Christmas.“

“Gina's Piece of Cake has been a fixture in Santa Maria for many years, the Orcutt store is relatively new. I had an Eclaire, which was outstanding. The store is nicely renovated, and very clean. Go there for coffee and cake and ice-cream, you won't regret it.“

“We had a good experience at Crumbl in Goleta and in Santa Maria. The cookies are always good, but what stands out is the friendly service. It’s nice to be treated that way. As far as atmosphere, it’s clean and pleasant. Would be nice to have a place to sit down, though.“

“Staff is always super friendly. Love the carrot cake we get it every time. Also, tried a few of the seasonal flavors. Enjoyed some more then others. Cakes are moist and not overly sweet. A fun little treat for a friend or dessert. Appreciate that they have a gluten free option. Picked that up for a friend who is GF and they really enjoyed it. “The best bread shop in town hands down!! Friendly staff. Food was delicious from here they have a good variety of things to eat. A lot of pastries cakes etc. Definitely recommended if in the area looking for good bread. Their prices are reasonable too.“

“Easy to find on the Foodmax Shopping Center close by the 101 freeway. The best of both worlds delicious doughnuts and deli sandwiches as well as pan dulce and tortas. They also have hot chocolate coffee and champurrado. A good fast stop when on the road easy access and easy way back on the road for truckers on both sides off the 101 freeway.“

“Love this bakery! I'm new here and have tried a couple spots but La Tapatia tops them all! Their puercitos are delicious (no pic because I always finish them before I leave lol and their conchas with sugar are to die for when you're craving pan dulce mix and I love their lunch options my fav is the Tortas!!! They're loaded! I choose the Milanesa and on the weekends they sell menudo, birria, and pozole! I always make sure to grab fresh bollilos on my way out and a champurrado y arroz con leche for my partner and the service is pretty quick compared to how packed they do get / busy. The works are always nice and friendly to me even though I'm barely learning Spanish (Cashiers do speak English so it helps)“

“Gina’s Piece of Cake has always been our go-to bakery, and they did not disappoint for our wedding last weekend. From the tasting a few months ago, to our cake cutting at the reception, the entire staff was phenomenal. And let me tell you about the cake! So delicious! Everyone asked where it was from and so many people came back for seconds. We had a scrumptious pink champagne sheet cake for our guests, and a perfect little 2-tier cake for our wedding party and photos. If you need sweet treats or baked goods, go see Gina! “This place has nice baked goods and some very tasty tamales. I tried the jalapeño with cheese and the beef tamales.The prices on the tamales are fare but it would be great if they sold them by the dozen at a discounted rate. They also have traditional Mexican drinks but I haven't tried those yet. Would have definitely given Panaderia Mana five stars if they had a deal on the tamales.“

“It's hard to find a good Latte in Orcutt and Santa Maria that's not Starbucks. Crumbles is a sit-down diner but they serve a pretty decent Latte. Be sure to ask for 2 to 3 shots of expresso if that's what want because the automatic amount is 1 shot for a 12 oz. We ordered breakfast as well. I got the veggie omelet and it did not disappoint. So good! Super fresh ingredients, house made salsa. Definitely one of the best in the area for a $16 breakfast. The server was super nice! This was exceptional for two reasons. #1 He was like a handsome dude by generic yt beauty standards, yet he offered us warm equal human regard which (sadly) is rare from a dude who is considered "good looking" (again by generic standards). #2 We are a queer black and brown couple, definitely don't fit generic standards of attractibility, or play to politics of respectability (if you know you know). So! We oft experience less respect (even from service persons) than the average individual. That our waiter was as kind and thoughtful toward us as he was toward everyone else was exceptional. Needless to say, we left a good tip. Wish I remembered his name so I could give him credit. Overall this place is great vibes, good food, good service ??“

“First time looking for some yummy donuts and this place did not disappoint us. Fresh donuts and friendly lady who tended to us made the experience even more pleasurable. I'm a jelly donuts type and these jelly's are stuffed. Bear claws are so huge they can feed 4 if you need to share. I would definitely go back and feed my diabetes!“
