I went through the drive thru, the guy taking my order was really nice, and the food was made very well with the proportions used and the freshness, and its temperature. “Fantastic, clean, hole in the wall Mexican place. Had a chicken burrito, which was just fabulous. Fantastic flavor. We also had the chicken Mole, which was very good, I was wishing for a little sour cream, but that isn't the style there. Chips and salsa were complimentary, and excellent. Didn't get a rumbling tummy after, which is always welcome. Will be back.“

“First time here today. It is super clean the everyone was soooo friendly. I had the chicken fajitas and they were delicious, the chicken was super tender and the homemade tortillas were amazing. Their salsa is really good too. I will definitely go back. I highly recommend!!!“

“First time here and I was surprised.
The place is nice, but its empty from the inside. Its somewhat quiet, so it's calm. The waiter was polite and gave us chips and salsa. She was really patient.
I ordered a quesadilla "herradero" which is pretty big and it has a wonderful taste. I feel like it was a reasonable price.
At the end the waiter gave us peppermints. :)“

“The food was very good. However, the waitress brought me shrimp soup instead of Siete Mares Caldo. She gladly changed it for Siete Mares and when we were done eating the bill was like $69.00 I ask the waitress why and that it was wrong. She gladly corrected it and it came down to 61 and change. I wasn’t happy because I had added the food that we consumed and it was less than $60. I believe the owner saw me adding and noticed I wasn’t happy so he called the waitress and gave me the new bill for $56.00 I am telling the truth and that is why I gave this restaurant a 5 star because the owner did the right thing, after all said and done. Honesty does pay with good rewards. Thank you owner/manager, we appreciate your honesty and truthfulness. I will recommend everyone to eat here, for all the right reasons. Thank you“

“The food is addictive. They have an orange food truck has the best food. I’ve tried their tacos and burritos and was very impressed with the flavors. The burritos were large and not skimpy, came with grilled onions, Salsa and a grilled chile. I tried the pazole in restaurant today, sooo good.“

“My wife and I have been there like five times. Today was special, the whole family were at the small dinning room waiting for customers. The whole family got up got chips for us got our drinks and just wanted for us to be comfortable. The food came fast, hot and smelling so fresh. I wished they had more customers they are a great family. Every time we go we have nenas enchiladas with no meat. Delicious 😋 😋. Don't let this small place fool you, the taste is huge and they love their customers.“

“We arrived in Santa Maria in the evening. We chose California Birrias Y tacos because it was next to our hotel and the rating was above 4.5.It's one of the best Mexican we've had. The portions are huge for us but it's so good that we ate almost everything.Delicious. You can go there with your eyes closed.“

“We came for the menudo which was absolutely delicious I only wish it had hominy but it's ok I understand not everyone adds that to the menudo. I also ordered the red chilaquiles with Asada and I was so pleased with the taste of everything. The only thing that would have made it even better was if the tortillas were freshly made.“

“Each time I visit the Santa Maria area for work. I make it a point to eat here. I asked for a recommendation for a great Mexican restaurant while visiting the local Lowe’s. Everyone said to come here. I’ve never been disappointed. Great food and service. I was last there in August 2025. They were preparing over 600 tacos for a party. Never missed a beat for the customers dining in. Definitely recommend going there“

“BEST CHILAQUILES IN SANTA MARIA!!! Holy shit, I wasn't prepared for how bomb these were going to be. I was on a mission to find the best Chilaquiles in town and I found them! I got mine with chorizo and hashbrowns, the beans come with it. So tasty and good! A good crisp with freshly fried chips, not soggy at all like other places. Paired with some cafe de olla and it hit the spot. Plus, the have a MILITARY DISCOUNT!!! Always a plus in my book too.“
