“Driving back from Avila, we drove Highway 1, and we pass thru the town of Guadalupe, we stop close to a Market, and asked a resident couple were was the best place to eat? They recommended Nardo's for their great Menudo.
This family restaurant is a gem in Guadalupe: friendly service, home cooking taste, the portions were just right. I had Chilaquiles with Steak and 2 eggs, my wife had Menudo and delicious home made tortillas.
If you happen to drive thru Guadalupe, stop by this Restaurant, you will have an awesome meal.“

We also had the chicken Mole, which was very good, I was wishing for a little sour cream, but that isn't the style there. Chips and salsa were complimentary, and excellent. “We arrived in Santa Maria in the evening. We chose California Birrias Y tacos because it was next to our hotel and the rating was above 4.5.It's one of the best Mexican we've had. The portions are huge for us but it's so good that we ate almost everything.Delicious. You can go there with your eyes closed.“

The place is nice, but its empty from the inside. Its somewhat quiet, so it's calm. The waiter was polite and gave us chips and salsa. She was really patient.
I ordered a quesadilla "herradero" which is pretty big and it has a wonderful taste. I feel like it was a reasonable price.
At the end the waiter gave us peppermints. :)“

“This place was excellent! We had lengua, carnitas, al pastor, pescada and cameron (sp?) tacos, and all were phenomenal! I am a bit of a spice weenie so it was a bit out of my comfort zone, but nothing "Mas crema, por favor" could not solve. :) My husband, who has a higher spice tolerance, absolutely loved it! I highly recommend this place. The jamaica is really good, too. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to Santa Maria.“

“First time getting breakfast burritos, they were huge. Although a little too much beans for a breakfast burrito… id get it again but without beans. My girl got the zarape and I got the ranchero with added bell peppers, onion, and tomatoes. What i thought was a little off was the bell peppers were like raw not kinda cooked/sautéed like what happens when you make a scramble. Both my girl and I kept having to add salt to our burritos because they were missing flavor, eggs could’ve used some sort of seasoning. Over all the burritos were like a 7.5/10.“

this tiny, hole in the wall restaurant. They have the most fresh beans and great salsa. The food was so good that I was able to finish my entire plate lol which I rarely do. I had to order more since I wanted some for tomorrow. And the portions are huge!!!! Highly recommend for a quiet lunch or dinner. Great staff and drinks!! Fast friendly service with great food!!! Can’t wait to go back. Took my 90 year old father for lunch and he loved it too. And he hates everything lol!
