“THE BEST TACOS IN OXNARD !!! This has been my spot for years now! I love coming here, cachete tacos, queso birria tacos are the best with the consume. Plus the salsa is the best! Not water and unflavored like the other restaurants. On top of the food is the service I always get by Angelita, she is the best, she always greets me by my name since I’m a regular here now. The only thing I suggest is getting a bigger place that’s how BOMB these tacos are.“

My husband ordered a carne asada burrito. We were both very happy with our selection. The season was perfect! This place seems to be a good spot for menudo. By the way corn tortillas are hand made. Oh ! What's a Memela ? It's a thick hand made tortilla with melted cheese and the sauce of your choice. Yes!!! An opened quesadilla! Between a quesadilla and a gordita ! I opted for the green salsa because it's their most mild salsa. But so delicious! Provecho Everyone“

“I initially went there because I was looking for cheap eats. Google suggested that it was a reasonable price. It looked so delicious so I immediately ordered, The fish was amazing the service left something to be desired because they did not actually fulfill the request that I had asked for. I said no tortillan no rice, substitute beans. They gave me extra rice and French fries. They were more than happy to fix the order and give me the beans that I asked for. In all it was a pretty good experience although it costed me $18. I left the $10 tip because the lady who helped me was so kind and generous especially in fixing the mistake. And I can say I will return for the fish. But if you're looking for a reasonably priced Mexican food place this is definitely not it.“

I frequent the place once when I went to buy chicken broth for a sick person since it is very good for recovering and I saw and tried it and their lamb consomme was very good. “Breakfast is just like home made. From huevos rancheros to nopales con carne and hand made corn tortillas. The only negative is that they only have instant coffee which you have to get up and make yourself, which I still don't mind BUT all they have is Styrofoam cups :(. The food is however, the BEST compared to ALL other Mexican restaurants. There's usually just one waitress and the female cook/owner. That'll tell you it's just like being cooked a meal at home with great taste.“
