“I found this shop scanning GMaps. But as I was driving thru an industrial park I began to think they led me off course. So it’s where they do most of the mongering but they have a little shop that serves most of the people in the industrial parks and vicinity. It was funny, they called me out for it lol.

But the girl was super nice and helpful and led me to the Fish Tacos. Well worth it. Light bread in, good crisp and flavor. I would def come back but it’s a lunch spot for the locals. Don’t let that scare you away.“

“I love HC Seafood! I've been coming here for years and everything has always been consistently fresh. Service is always great and everyone is very friendly. Everything is priced well and you get a lot of food! Highly recommend the shrimp and fish plate.“

“Best guacamole anywhere. Made fresh at the table, but somehow there is still something they do that makes it amazing. They make their tortillas in house. For lunch, two of us shared the guac, had a taco a piece and shared a chili rellenos. Everything was delicious. Excellent chill rellenos.“

“Like a trip to Mexico without the hassles at the border!
Two visits so far -- one on the weekend and one midweek. There's a mariachi on the weekend, and futbol on the TV screens always.
Three of us split a big order of ceviche the first time and it was just plain wonderful! The second visit I tried the sopa siete mares which ended up providing me with lunch the next day! Others in our group had fish prepared different ways, all of which were excellent.
The wait staff was helpful, personable and didn't make fun of my ordering in Spanish (and checking in English)!

“Moved to Vegas 25 years ago. Miss 3 things about Oxnard - Family, the beach and Otani’s. Been fortunate to eat in some of the best restaurants in the U.S. I would choose Otani’s Fried Teriyaki Snapper with double rice over any other meal that’s out there. Otani’s was a staple for me growing up and had the fortune of knowing the family. Crave it constantly and go there every day whenever I make it back to town.“

The meat was succulent, the chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice was moist and every grain was separated to taste. The ambience candlelight like, but intimate. You must try this restaurant, if you haven’t to this point. It is oceanic covert treasure and I WILL return!“

“The perfect dinner experience! This was my third time here and it’s our most favorite of them all!! This time I brought my whole family, pups included, great experience outdoor dining. The front cashier tonight was amazing, His name is Suvam ! He helped with all questions I’ve had, offered amazing recommendations and just offered us patient and professional service all together. The chef’s really did their thing tonight cause everything was on point! And the rest of the staff this evening were all polite and attentive as well, to include the bartender! Recommend this location to all looking for a great meal within a great atmosphere.
We ordered SO MUCH today, I will say if you go, my three recommended staples to try are: their amazing bowl of Clam Chowder, their fried Zucchini appetizer and their Fisherman’s Cod combo!!

“I recently dined at this amazing spot and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Birria plate with horchata, and my husband enjoyed the fajitas plate. The food was absolutely delicious, and the homemade tortillas were a standout. The customer service was exceptional; the lady who served us was incredibly kind and attentive. The entire restaurant was clean, including the restrooms and the tables, which added to the overall pleasant dining experience. “We had the chicken quesadilla Mole estilo Guanajuato, Tamarindo agua fresca and Jamaica agua fresca a michelada and churro ice cream for dessert. The mole sauce tasted a bit bitter, the aguas frescas were refreshing with just the right amount of sugar, the michelada was on pointe! the churro was served hot ? with a cinammon coating and glazed ice cream. The server was super friendly and attentive. No waiting which was awesome because we were hungry. The food came within 15 minutes.
