“We had an outstanding dinner at AMA Sushi. Every dish was exceptional, but the freshness and quality of the fish truly stood out.

Our favorites included the Kaisou Salad, Toro nigiri, Shima Aji nigiri, the Woman of the Sea roll, the Fukuda roll, and the Sake Kasu Marinated Black Cod. Everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious.

The hospitality was just as impressive as the food. A special thank you to Alessandro, who went well above and beyond for us. We were visiting from out of town and accidentally booked our reservation for the wrong evening. Despite our mistake, Alessandro was incredibly gracious, welcoming, and worked to accommodate us while we were at the restaurant. That level of kindness made a lasting impression.

From the spectacular food to the genuinely warm service, AMA Sushi exceeded every expectation. We highly recommend it and will absolutely return the next time we’re in town.“

“I have only good things to say about China Palace. It is located by itself in the Lower Village so it's easy to forget it's there. Our lunch was excellent. Mooshu chicken, mooshu duck and hot and sour soup. Prices are very reasonable. Service was friendly. Drive right up and park.“

“Dropped in for happy hour and sat at the bar—highly recommend! The tuna ponzu and the oysters were both absolutely fantastic and incredibly fresh. But the real star was the Fresh Squeezed Lure Martini. I’m not a martini drinker, and I’ve been totally into grapefruit lately, and this hit the spot perfectly. It wasn't too strong and tasted amazing.

“The pan-seared peppercorn-crusted filet mignon with potatoes au gratin and sautéed asparagus were as good as I've had anywhere. Thick, small and perfectly cooked medium-rare. And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! Thanks to everyone at Bouchon for a very special evening.“

“Went here for lunch and mostly ordered off their specials menu where they were offering some Louisiana staples like crawfish and gumbo. Food is pretty good but overpriced, although most food in this area is. Waitstaff are about average. I would come back if I want seafood but don't want to leave Carp but not likely to go out of my way for it. Breakfast menu image added because I didn't see it listed.“

“What a treat! This restaurant was conveniently located near our hotel, and we’re so glad we stopped by. The pistachio-crusted salmon was absolutely amazing—cooked to perfection and now my favorite type of crusted fish!

My husband had the smashburger and really enjoyed it. Just a heads-up: the burger doesn’t come with a side, so be sure to order one.

Their happy hour drinks were fantastic—strong margaritas and great deals! Our waiter was awesome, and the service overall was excellent. Bonus points for being super dog-friendly—they even have a dog menu! Highly recommend this spot for a great meal and atmosphere!“

“Came here with my boyfriend on a whim, searching for a cup of coffee in the late afternoon. Decided to grab a meal and we were incredibly impressed. The BBQ Pulled Pork was the perfect balance of sauce and meat, not too much, not too little. The fries were also perfectly well done, a sharp crisp which we enjoyed. My boyfriend ordered the Pastrami, and not a single bite was left. The bread had a touch of rosemary which gave it an unexpected freshness. By the way, per my BF, this is the BEST RANCH he’s had in a few years. 10/10 meal and place. Definitely coming back.“

“Pretty good first experience here. The food from the short menu was tasty. The service staff were super friendly if a little absent at times. First impression is that the menu is good value , especially entrees priced $20-25, but the portions are small so you are going to go for that starter and dessert so then you are back up at $40-45. They charged us 20% automatic gratuity for parties over 6 people even though there were 5 of us. They charge 3% for using a card. Taking a star off for that alone - I don’t want to be punished for using a card in this age. Please, just roll the costs into the meal prices.“

“There are a LOT of options at the deli that are filling- my favorite is the box of an entree + 2 sides. They usually have 3-4 vegan entrees (one tofu, a couple faux meats, there was a vegan spanakopita when I went) and 3-4 vegan sides available (fingerling potatoes, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, etc). This box is only 9$! I love that they don't upcharge for vegan options (buying animal meat costs 3 extra dollars!) like most other places do. The grocery store itself also has a wide array of vegan foods you might not come by elsewhere, despite it being pricier. The sandwiches are also great, filling, and flavorful. I enjoyed the smoky TTLA; there was a super delicious and flavorful vegan garlic aioli on it. I haven't tried the pizza at this specific location but pizza from whole foods has generally been pretty good and you can veganize any of them although it'll be a bit of a wait. Generally, the food is really yummy and well-priced for a filling vegan meal, as well as quick and easy if you're not waiting on a pizza.“

The clam chowder is delicious, the crispy Harbor rice melts in your mouth and the local halibut and filet mignon were amazing. The dining room and new bar are beautiful and the ocean views from every table are breathtaking. We’ve enjoyed private events and special dinners here. This place is definitely back better than ever!“
