“I went there for the $1 Frosty. It's very teeny tiny, so I bought two. LOL I also got a baked potato, and it was pretty dry, even after smothering it with butter and sour cream. I was disappointed as I remember them being much better years ago. 😢“

“Everything I had exceeded my expectation including curly fries. Bulgogi burger was intriguing but I had to try classic cheeseburger also.

Both were SO GOOD. Cheeseburger was rich, smoky, cheesy goodness with drizzling au jus just about every bite. And bulgogi burger… omg it is amazing. The sweet sautéed onion and then meaty saltiness with crunchy French roll. I took so many bites and wanted more. It’s pretty good sized burger too. I normally leave some buns when I eat burgers or sandwiches, but bun to meat ratio was on point.

Also, I couldn’t help but notice how spanking clean this place is despite looking nostalgic old school establishment. Tables, countertops, salt and pepper shakers, floor, chairs, ketchup spouts, etc all clean. No stickiness, no dust, no dried sauce.

Full of locals, attentive and personal service to everyone dining here. I’m not a local here but it’s worth coming back for.

“When you order 3 whole pies online and pay in full at that time, 6 hours prior to your pickup time, then you arrive to find out they don’t have one of the flavors you ordered - it’s not right. Someone could have called and said they were out of that particular pie. They had plenty of time to let me know (6 hours) but I had about 3 minutes in line to pick out a replacement. Disappointing. I will say that the pies were delicious even though we didn’t get the one we initially ordered.“

Parking: The parking lot is located mainly in the back of the restaurant and it is shared with another business next door so if it gets busy there are a limited number of spaces to park in.“

“I almost didn't go in because it looked like a hole in the wall on the outside. But I walked in and found that it is one of the cleanest restaurants I've been in for its size. They did not have gluten-free buns, but the cook made a fantastic lettuce wrapped burger. I'm really glad I went in. The food and service are all great!“

“The deli in front of Home Depot. Such kind ladies work there and they cook up your order fast. We split a breakfast burrito - real eggs, good amount of meat (we chose ham) and they add in onions and cilantro for freshness. No beans or rice, a quality breakfast burrito good for breakfast or lunch. We got a side of fries too, they are battered and fried fresh to order. Next time you're at Home Depot and hungry, stop here!“

The polish with grilled onions is the best and you can take it into Cullen's Pub next door so you can have it with a beer on-tap. It took the waitress using both hands to bring me a plate, keep that in mind when you order. The portions are generous but not excessive, and the food is excellent. It's so good I even got an order of biscuits and gravy to go. Between the omelet with hash browns, the biscuits and gravy, and 3 glasses of tea my bill was less than $40. If you're ever in Martinez and want a good breakfast or lunch you can't go wrong with this place.
