It wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy and was yummy. The chicken was melting off the bone and in my mouth, incredible texture. The sides balanced the jerk chicken well and was the perfect serving size. I also got one veggie enchilada to try (especially having the mango sauce on it). It was spot-on satisfying. I asked for a to-go box right when I ordered, just knowing I couldn’t finish all the food. I finished all of it and returned the to-go box, it’s that amazing. I also got the watermelon agua fresca, it was extremely refreshing and not too sweet. Highly recommend trying this Caribbean restaurant that’s only a hop, skip, and a jump away from the beach. Sweet servers, nice atmosphere, and good outside seating area, too.“

The outdoor dining patio is encapsulated from the street noise and the restaurant transports you to a feeling of fine dining without hurting your wallet. The food is so darn flavorful; you can't go wrong with just the shareable pizzas, but be sure to try the main dishes. My wife loves the Mango Chicken and I'm a fan of the Cancun Steak. For dessert, the coconut flan is fantastic, but I will knock over a small child to get more of the Apple Tart Tatin with its caramelized fruit in butter and sugar. The bar is also stocked with top-shelf spirits, and the mojitos are sweetened with actual sugar cane freshly crushed and squeezed right there at the bar. I had the chimichurri steak and fries. The chimichurri was a bit spicy but very good. My husband had the lomo saltado made with filet mignon. Both dishes were excellent.
