“Breaker’s is a great comfortable place to get a broad variety of “comfort food” at a reasonable price. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Portions are definitely biased towards large. Our favorites are Crab Panini, Patty Melt, and Monte Christo. Definitely an affordable casual good quality restaurant close to picturesque scenery with numerous hiking trails.“

“Ok, I got there and thought the prices were high until I got my beautiful bussin plate o food!! Wow! I could have shared my plate with 2 other ppl. This is a family own business. I could tell. Momma served me, son was finishing up his plate o food next to ne at the bar and when he was finished he went to the back to clean up, and dad made all the food at the grill. Such a warm, cozy, family atmosphere! Everyone was taken care of! ✨️ ? I ate on that French toast all day! So tasty, too!! ?

They were precisely on time, considered our special instructions to give more of a few varieties than others, and were very communicative and lovely throughout the whole experience. Our guests (including several 3-5 yr. olds) LOVED them! 10/10 would recommend.“

“The atmosphere was pleasant and quaint. We ordered the three eggs scramble with Dutch baby and the North African shakshuka. The scramble was delicious, the Dutch baby was decadent, the shakshuka was really good but watch out for the whole peppercorns. Highly recommend the jet pilot drink. It was phenomenal! All in all a really good experience.“

“This is seriously some of the best breakfast and lunch food my family and I have ever had. If you can’t tell by the name we are from Cleveland, OH and this place beats out all of our breakfast spots with ease. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here. When we came it was on a Sunday morning right at their “busiest” time and still there was plenty of room and never felt too crowded. Also the pancakes are as big as my head.“

“I had to stop by Royal Donut Cafe because of all of the great reviews I saw on Yelp! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all! The staff was awesome! From the cashier, to the cooks, and the server. And I even got a chance to meet the owner, Terri, who has taken over the business for the past 15 years! Definitely going to be a regular here! “The Horchata French toast was amazing, delicious and filling. Nice big portion with not your average sized toast! The French toast was soft and light with fresh fruit. The banana iced latte was creamy and refreshing. Service was good and atmosphere was ok. Be aware of the 3% credit card surcharge which brought my total to $33.86 with a tip for French toast and a latte!“

“This is an excellent spot where breakfast is always excellent! This is the only place where I can order grits that are perfectly cooked and exactly how I remember them! I found this hidden spot when ordering on Door Dash; although I had lived in SSF for years and did not know about this hidden gem! Highly recommend! We didn’t think we were at the right place because of all the fork lifts. Server was lovely. It’s not the best atmosphere for breakfast but the food was good.“

“Small latin eatery between 23rd and 24th Mission street. Metered parking or hourly parking in nearby neighborhood. Very casual and friendly environment and staff. Freshly made food and freshly squeezed orange juice! I ordered the "Central American Special". It had fried plantains(sweet tasting flavor), fried cheese, eggs, toast, rice and beans and Bacon. The dish itself tasted great all around, would recommend. I also ordered a side of Garlic bread (did not have any taste of garlic this time though).“

“My bf and I ust grabbed breakfast to-go, but it was a quaint and cozy little diner! The staff were polite and friendly. Great clientele; 1 of the other customers joked us as a Karen when we kissed, "You can't do that here!" but she was just being funny and we chatted for a few minutes after.

Parking: There's a parking lot shared by 2 other businesses right next to the door, but there's only like 6 spots; street parking otherwise.“

I’m not sure if it’s because this IHOP was on the West Coast in San Mateo, but they definitely did not skimp on the mushrooms, spinach, and hollandaise sauce. “Best breakfast place in town. Been coming here for almost a decade. Even after moving out of the city, every time I'm in the area, I have to come back for their breakfast. It's still reasonably priced and the food is delicious. There's something about their chicken wings and waffles that I can get anywhere else.

Parking: There's a city parking garage a block away. Plenty of paid street parking and residential parking.“

“IHOP stands for "International House of Pancakes" which doesn't mean they only sell pancakes. There you can find several types of food for lunch, dinner and even breakfast, including the famous pancakes. It's worth checking out. For example, I ordered the fish and fries.

“We had a 5-hour layover in San Fran late at night when the airport restaurants were all closed. So we ubered to the closest IHOP open all night. I know it's late at night but our server never smiled or said thank you. One time. Food was good. Restaurant was clean. Service was fast.“
