“A place on 24th St., the salvation to have a coffee, eat a good sandwich, have a beer and if you like everything Italian you will find it here! The guys are very friendly and the owner can't even speak of, I really liked it, I recommend it!“
“Got a great parking spot across the street in front of Now Valley Bakery, which is not always the case on 24th Street. We were meeting friends there in the back outdoor area. TVs at every booth and you just ask the server to change the channel - we wanted to see the Giants. Midday beers on St Patrick’s Day weekend and it was lovely out. Lots of locals go there, so we saw a few friends. Service was great and I was introduced to the Black Velvet: Prosecco and Guinness! Sounds kind of awful but it was great. Our server was Shanna and she’s so much fun and works hard. Took great care of us!“
“We ate wings here last year- best we've ever had. Crunchy, hot, amazing sauces, fast service. Went back thinking no way they are that good. We had to have been tired or really hungry or something. We knew, we were cashing the dragon. But we went again on Easter...and HOT DAMN!! BETTER than we remembered!! So rarely does food measure up across time and memory! They did not disappoint! The fry on these wings is special and spectacular!! NOT TO BE MISSED! The MVP and Lemon Honey wings- I miss them already. Great onion rings too! Plus a great jukebox.“
“The first time we came here it was a rainy night and packed. The music was going and it seemed like a local crowd. Tonight it was a little less crowded but just as lovely. The food, drinks are great. The Sunday music transports you to another place across the Atlantic. So sweet and highly recommend this place. The pork chop is a fave, as is the cottage pie and roasted chicken. You will have leftovers.“
“I returned back to SF after 8 years. I wandered in one night and met Justin. Hell of a guy and a place to match. It doesn't matter what you're wearing, who you're with or if you're alone, they will make you feel welcome. Even if the day went wrong, the personnel will help make it better. The drinks for an inside SF bar are reasonably priced. The gents are as honest as the day is long. Refreshing place to find and so close to where I moved. It's my new go to place for watching the game or whatever is on and having instant camaraderie with the patrons.“
“this is definitely the neighborhood bar, it's small and intimate and feels very locals only. no tourists or even people from too far having a drink here. there's a pool table and a jukebox. the prices are fair and service is pretty quick. clientele is pretty varied which keeps things interesting.“
“Excellent food and very authentic. I lived in Ireland for a number of years and thoroughly enjoyed the full Irish fry for brunch. They even had Barry’s tea (I used to be more of a Lyon’s Gold Blend but Barry’s is my close second). Lovely.I went another evening and had the lamb riblets. GORGEOUS! I watched the barman pour a few Guinness. I normally don’t order Guinness in America but the barman poured a proper pint and there was plenty of Guinness flowing. Best pint of Guinness I’ve had in ages. I’ll be back!“
“I've lived in the area for three decades, (South Bay, East Bay & the Peninsula) but only recently discovered the historic 7 Mile House and can't wait to return. In fact, I'm headed there right after I post this ;.) I walked in on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch / early dinner to-go and sat at the bar with affable locals who all seemed to be enjoying themselves. I was warmly welcomed by the bartender; cocktail service was swift and with a friendly smile. Their mouth-watering menu offers much to choose from. After some deliberation, I selected their pulled pork adobo sandwich with a "side" salad which was an enormous serving of fresh field greens (entree size) along with the gigantic, succulent sandwich which DID NOT disappoint. The meat was tender and smokey, and their adobo is what I'm going back for today ! There was plenty to feed at least two people or one hungry woman with a half sandwich left over for lunch the following day. See you at the Seven ! I've gotta go ~ photos next time . . .“
“My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday night to watch football. We heard great things about this place so decided to check it out for ourselves. We walked in and the place very spacious. Not too busy, so we were able to grab a table and they had all the big games playing. The guys behind the bar - Glen and Jay - were awesome!! Very attentive and friendly. While we were there we ordered food from "The Hidden Spot", which is located all the way in the back of the bar. The two spots are not connected so you'll need to pay separately. We heard so many good things about their wings and they were delicious. $10 for 5 wings or $18 for 10. We wanted to try a couple different flavors and they were both really good. The place has a chill vibe, no frills, just a fun neighborhood bar. We had a great time and will definitely be back again.“
“My favorite bar from comedy night , dj's , to hanging out with my neighbors this dive bar exceeds expectations . The staff always remembers my name and is welcoming / engaging in conversation .... a true gem in regards to service. The Ave is and will always be the best bar around and a place that I call home.“
“I decided to stop by this local sports bar. Fairly empty when I came in. Packed by the time I left. Good menu selections. Weekend breakfast options. They even offer mystery shots. I had the steak and eggs. The bartender/server Freddie was super nice and attentive. Prices are on point. Especially for the location. Food was ok. Nothing extremely special but the customer service was superb!“
“My new favorite dive bar in the city. A great blues band was playing the night we went and the atmosphere was fun and full of happiness. Excellent and creative cocktails (the Bee's Knees and the ginger cocktail are very much recommended). Service was exceptional, we'll be definitely coming back! Love this place, A+++Parking: best to get here via ride share because parking is extremely difficult to find.“
“The dubliner is a very nice neighborhood bar. The bartenders are very friendly and nice. The crowd are mostly just locals. Friendly vibes. I've had nice chats with some of them. I've been to a couple trivia nights and was lucky to win one. I try to stop by if I'm in the neighborhood. You should too.“
“Awesome service, neighborhood friendly place to watch the game. Really nice bartender, Betty there made my NY Eve super lovely as well. I went in the first time, forgot my phone, came back and immediately greeted by Betty. She made an awesome cosmo drink perfect for pictures. Pink is my favorite color as I am aka babysoftpink for my online broadcast. Clean no stickiness on table. Easygoing , nice crowd there. I sat on the side to post for my pictures and felt totally comfortable, everyone was having lots of fun to prep for the new year so if you need some family vibe of happiness, this is the spot. I saw the pool table and there were pathway to the backyard for smokes, dog runaround and business etc. Not your typical Irish pub is also situated to a certain four-stars seafood restaurant if you are hungry before or after! My UberEats super store for dim sum is also nearby. Plenty of street parking outside. I saw two both times I stopped by this afternoon. I recommend giving them a try if you like mellow, parkside vibe, neighbors friendly pub. Betty knows how to entertain and uplifts the crowd too if you need some positivity!“
“All the elements of the pub nachos were amazing. The flavour was great and the presentation was *chefs kiss*.I LOVE me a good amount of condiments and dip but it was a bit much and 95% of the tortilla chips were completely soggy before I could dig them out.I ended up getting about 5 crispy ones and then eating the chili topping with a fork while moving slimy chips out of the way. Wouldn’t stop me from eating something else here though!“
“My partner and friends been coming here since they opened. Claudio, Patrick and the whole staff are super friendly and welcoming. We always have a great time here, the alcohol selection is amazing. We also tried the food a handful of time and it's super yummy. They have the games on TV on game days, pool table in the back. This is just what this neighborhood needs.“
“Tadka is a great place for dine in though ur not looking at ambience like the Amber Cafe but certainly its better than Shalimar. 1. I ordered Kadhai Paneer Spicy and it was very tasty and spicy 2. The garlic naan was huge and lot of butter and distinct taste of garlic 3. Mango Lassi was great too 4. They also gave me onion lemon and chillies when I requested the same 5. Would have loved complimentary papad and pickle 6. Would also have loved if they kept fennel seeds for after food at the counter 7. If you are cricket fan, IPL highlights was on when I went“
“So, the only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that their hours tend to fluctuate based on whenever they want to open. Since I tend to walk around the neighborhood if I get there and your closed one day and we're open that time the day before, you should be open again. Other than that, great place for a drink in the neighborhood. Good food nearby, and it doesnt seem like they mind if you bring it in, dont hold.me.to that though.“
“Great spot for locals or if you wanted to stop somewhere close enough to BART if there are delays or you want an easy escape to it. Limited drink selections and staff, but it's the kind of spot that reminds you that you don't really need all that. I had wanted to stop in for a long time before finally making my way in and glad I did.“
“When you enter, you pay first then seat yourself. Pay in cash to avoid a 4% charge on your card. There is 2 separate lines, one for the food, the other for the bar in the back. Bring another person with you at the bar if you have more than 2 drinks or the pitcher for help to bring back to the table. As for the food, I thought they would be small but they're actually big which is great but I should have just ordered one super taco. Taste is good & crunchy. The design of this restaurant is cultural & nice.“
