“My favorite SF Valley tamales. Always so good and moist. Large too! I stopped by here anytime I have a hankering for tamales and pick up a dozen so I could freeze the extras or give them to friends. .”
“They just started making birria. Can't wait to try it. I love this place. Their food is so good. I recommend the medi-burrito and the corn-black-bean salad.”

“Everything is really fresh! The burgers taste very authentic and great, the quality of the food most definitely stands out from other burgers. They for sure got the best chili cheese fries, no doubt. Definitely recommend!”
“By hand, from scratch, hot and delicious and you're not breaking your budget, the best kept secret of the San Fernando Valley. Thank the maker they don't have a website, it's busy enough.”

“Omg love the food at this spot! I ordered a mojara and tacos de lengua Friday April 11 around 8pm, dude hooked it up too. The meat is fresh and the price is decent. The food reminded me of the good old times when my RIP dad used to take me to Mejicali to eat from the outside food vendors.”
“I love this place, the food is amazing and makes me hungry just thinking about it. The ladies working the front counter are very kind. I highly recommend the Mongolian with Beef or the Spicy Mint Leaves with Chicken (mild spicy, regular spicy is very hot). The only downside... It's in a rough area, a lot of ghetto stuff, panhandling, and road rage happening around. Also, the parking lot is terrible. Other than that, it's great, I love Coco Hut Thai Food.
Parking: Bad parking lot. Cramped parking spaces and high volume of traffic.”
“Great Thai food from a local mom and pops restaurant. The dining room is very small and there is usually very little parking available during the day. I love the Panag Curry with fried tofu very spicy. The mango sticky rice is amazing when in season.”
“We had a delicious lunch with the kids today. The shrimp and fish ceviche tostadas, quesadillas and carne asada tacos were all delicious! I would highly recommend going here!
Vegetarian options: You can order plain quesadillas if you’re vegetarian.”

“Best pupusas in Arleta, I recommend the gallina asada soup (delicious), sopa de res and the sopa de pata. Also the mojarra frita if you want to eat well and have real nutrients come here. It's a nice place to eat there as well they have a nice patio in front of the road where you can relax. 🫡 Estelitas Forever!”
“I stopped by here this morning to get a breakfast burrito. I looked at their menu beforehand on their website and instagram page. So I knew I wanted a steak breakfast burrito. They were not busy at all and I was able to park in the front, just know if you do park in the front then it might be harder to exit because Osborne is a busy street. I ordered from their outside window since it said to order there. The older man working took my order and asked if I wanted chesse. I asked if it was extra and he said it's included so I did. It didn't take long for my burrito to come out, like maybe 5 minutes. When I got home, I ate it and thought it was okay. There not much flavor to the steak and the salsa wasn't my favorite. I had Pico de gallo at home so it helped out a lot to making it taste better. You also get more potatoes than steak in the burrito so maybe next time, I'll try their burger instead since my friend speak highly of this place.
Parking: They have some parking in the back and it shares the plaza with Vallarta.
Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly you're near a public street.
Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible”
“After years of passing by, I finally stopped there on a Tuesday. Enjoyed a carne asada burrito. The following week I had a couple of tacos. I enjoyed those as well. Their red salsa is tasty. Service was quick considering the line. The personnel were very friendly and professional. Only minus? The outside needs a good pressure washing. Keeping a clean exterior would show customers both appreciation and respect.”
“Today 5/9/24 I had a really bad experience at this location. One crazy customer came was rude to Ladies she bought a sandwich and 1 hour later she came and told cashier she wanted her money back that her sandwich wasn’t good but she finished the sandwich and ask her for refund. She was mean and rude to the ladies. Please be kind and respectful with people who serve you. She used bad words to the ladies. ?”
“Been coming to this location for almost 5 years, mainly for convenience since I live down the road. They've always done a great job food and cleanliness wise. (Especially big shout out to the night/overnight crew! I see you guys work hard and do your best!) I felt the need to write a review now for the stupidest reason, but I ordered a quesadilla, and it was PERFECTLY cut! I'm so used to having to pull it and it falling apart, but this time, I didn't have that issue. I know, so small and so insignificant, but it made my visit. Lol You guys rock! 🌮”

“Very generous portions! The staff was very kind and helpful. The food tasted good. It's fast food, so it's what you expect from an American-Chinese hot bar. But for what it is, it's good.”

“I’ve been going here since I was a young girl and my family and I are well acquainted with the staff. Everyone is polite and the food is absolutely phenomenal. For family dining we order their seafood soup with their fried rice. Do not be off put by the disposition of the staff, I believe they have solemn expressions because they are from a different culture. They aren’t rude just don’t fake their expressions 🤷🏽”

“Amazing food at amazing prices. The menudo is perfectly spiced, the pupusas are large and really well cooked. I love the first crunchy bite into a cheesy, flavor-laden pupusa, and this certainly was no disappointment.”

“Amazing customer service from Cheryl and Joy. They answered all questions with great knowledge and very polite and through. The food were very fresh and really delicious. The lechon was still steaming when we were chopping it. The lechon was so crunchy and tasty. Delivered on time. Definitely worth your money. I will order from this place again.”
“I went the other day to order some empandas to try (carne and pollo) but was really late....I decided to go back the next day to try them and boy am I addicted. I went again this morning on the way home from work and got fresh baked. Definitely recommend this place all the workers were helpful and very knowledgeable about what ingredients are in each selection. The green spicy sauce is what definitely makes this a must as well.”

I came here out of curiosity and saw their breakfast burrito and it looked good. I ordered the same thing and I was not disappointed. It was as good as it looked and it didn't cost much. For $13 it was a great deal. It has Chorizo, cheese, steak, egg, pico de gallo, onions, and they also have avocado salsa. I will come back and try their other stuff and I recommend this place for someone who loves to eat Mexican foods.”

“This place absolutely slaps. I wasn't able to communicate well because my Spanish is bad but the lady behind the counter was very patient. This birria is absolutely incredible, the meat is moist and the tortillas were so soft!!! Extremely flavorful and the Red sauce has just the right amount of heat. This place will definitely be a regular haunt. Highly recommend!!! ??”
“Now this place here is amazing I love it I try to go every day now I haven't tried everything but will my favorite platanos con frijol y crema "delicioso" the waitress was respectful and very professional plus she was beautiful. I didn't get her name I will next time the spot itself is nice bar is a place you can watch sports and have a few drinks (responsible of course) til next time my friends”
“Good place to go and buy Raspados. Variety of flavors.
We bought 2 Chamangos, 2 bubble gum and one leche con fresa and lechera.
All pretty good. The prices were semi fare.. i would come back again to buy raspados.
The parking sitiation is horrible no parking other than street parking. And you have to stop traffic to park. The place could use a sweep and counter clean up.. has many tables with high chairs. May not be disable friendly. But overall a nice place.”
“I have been to many branches of Subway and I am really impressed by this branch. It’s small but clean and the interior environment is nice too. Their staff looked like they enjoyed their work of serving customers. Paying attention to customers is very important and I give them high credit for that. Cheers!”
“My friend and I were stressed about needing a place to work with our laptop and grab a quick bite.
The team here (esp Jeff and Eneida) showed so much kindness and patience. And the food was so yum. Grateful for the group here - really solid team that made our stressful day a lot better. Very efficient, organized and kind.

“This place is a small little authentic place. Only has two people working the place. It was such a great find. We specifically were looking for menudo. They had choice of red and green. Tortillas were hand made. Service is a little slower but it’s worth the wait. The michalada was great and big! There was no kids meals but no problem the tacos were great and my son enjoyed them. We loved that there was plenty of room to sit. Parking is low but plenty of street parking. Will forsure be coming back again.”
“Best carne asada nachos I’ve ever had. I drive up from San Diego county just to eat these while pregnant (and before). I crave them like nothing else.
I don’t normally like nacho cheese, but for some reason the combination of cheese with the nacho cheese they use is absolute perfection.
I usually order extra jalapeños and extra meat. Worth it to me. But just as tasty without the extras.
I’ve never tried anything else from here, but the nachos will keep me coming back again and again.
The one downside is there is no public restroom.
And note: it’s cash only.”
“This place was good for for tacos and cold brewskis. The shared parking lot isn’t very big so large groups might have issues finding parking in the same lot. There was a few transients near by which made you feel a bit uneasy but there was no incidents with them. The staff were as friendly as they could be. If you’re in the area I’d check them out.”
“The menudo is good, nothing extraordinary. There's limited parking and only outside seating. Just a small hole in the wall but with limited options on this side of town I guess you gotta take what you get. It's not cheap either.”
