“WOW! I was getting a little impatient while waiting for my order, because it was “just a food truck”. But when the food was ready, the care with which they prepared it was evident. We had shrimp tacos, marlin plate, and ceviche. Everything was excellent! My wife said the best shrimp tacos she’s ever had. This quality food could easily be served in a higher-end restaurant.”

Maria Restaurant / Restaurant Maria is truly a great hidden jewel in the center of San Fernando, California. The Mexican food is delicious, and the customer service is excellent!
I ordered the Chicharrón en salsa verde (pork in green salsa) — absolutely mouthwatering. My mom had the famous Menudo, and she loved it. Everything came with large, soft handmade corn tortillas — fresh and perfect with every bite. We also enjoyed their Café de Olla — I couldn’t resist having two and a half cups. Simplemente delicioso! ☕️
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and to top it off, there was live music from two well-dressed golden-age gentlemen singing and playing their guitars — such a lovely touch.
A big THANK YOU to Rafa and Adan for their outstanding and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back soon❣️”

I was here often around the end of 2019.
I remember they used to have good chicken wings. I haven't been here since then untill today, and I won't be here maybe for years atleast since I eat almost everywhere.

By the way... if you're on a budget, this place is a good place to eat. Their portion is generous and the foods are good. The Chinese lady who take your orders, scoop the foods, and charge you on the register has been very nice everytime I visit this place, doesn't matter how long she hasn't seen me, she's always kind.”

“Talk about a whole in the wall. Bakery is kinda hidden, you'll miss it if you don't pay attention. They have a bolillo sandwich called guateque. Bolillo with beans, queso fresco, asada, jalapeños & salsa on the side. It is delicious anytime of day. Their pan dulce is also good. They have mini & regular size pan dulce & bolillo. I do have to mention that the place is really small, so is their parking. I suggest you call your order in for the guateques since they are always busy. I know you will love the guateque de asada! I haven't tried the guateque de huevo con chorizo yet. That'll be the next one I try. Enjoy!”

“Oasis for vegetarians/vegans! In the dessert of Chiclana (where everything is fried) a simple place where the cook knows how to cook vegetables! I had ravioli with eggplant stuffing and fresh tomatoes on top, then caponata Siciliana and grilled vegetables. Everything was perfect! Nice people and good price! “Food is great, the employees are great...certain customers though, may have to do take out. Its not because Queens lacks space. Certain customers need to take their little worlds with them and away. Going back to Queens, burgers are pretty damn good. Fries a little easier on the seasoning, but aside from that, still good. Their pastrami not sure what it is, but its better than The Hat, IMHO. Plenty of seating and also eat outdoors. Been here at least 6x, was referred by a previous patient.”

“Got a scrambled eggs burrito with avocado. Very tasty, even though a couple people working there were surprised it was on the menu. The sign out front said they had champurrado (similar to hot chocolate), but they didn’t actually. The burrito was the perfect vegetarian option, the beans were whole, which indicates no lard was used. I loved watching and smelling the corn tortillas being made in the main seating area, it seams like a popular spot for handmade tortillas. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean And tidy. Overall a positive experience. I recommend speaking in Spanish.”

I visited on a Sunday, and it was raining but I still don't understand why it was empty.
I sat out under the covered patio. It was quaint and clean. The ambience was pleasant. They even had little heat warmers cooking for warmth. The pool table was unexpected. THEY had a large screen TV. playing a modern movie in English. The food is good. A little bit pricey but everything is these days. I like it. I'll be back and I hope others follow my advice. I believe they're trying and they deserve a little more customer clientele for their efforts. You should check it out. This Thai restaurant offers great service once you walk in, the place is nice and they also have dine-in option, in my case I was at work that I had to take out my food, lucky me I was within 10 minutes drive. What I usually loved is when restaurants offer lunch special, no because it sounds cheap but the menu is pretty simple with delicious options to choose from. The food is absolutely delicious and I really like when there is a meal with a wide variety of veggies. Personally I loved the flavor of whatever I ordered the 4 times I went to grab a bite. highly recommend this Thai restaurant if anyone is interested to try different food. The best part is that the prices are very affordable”

Everything is made fresh. tortillas made on the spot you can hear the masa getting its flat form. Did have to wait but food is definitely worth it. Has some parking in the back. Highly recommend!!

“Been coming to get menudo for at least 2 years and love the menudo. But after they opened the restaurant ( before it was just takeout) the menudo has not been the same. I would always recommend this place but this last Friday I went to buy 3 menudos to go, came home and was telling my sister how good this spot was we started eating it the meat was extremely hard on all 3 orders it was not cooked through. I ordered “pata, nervio “ uneatable. It was my sisters first time eating from here and it was disappointing that I could not take this plates back, if I was at the restaurant I would have send them back. This has happened twice since the restaurant opened. They might just be focusing on other recipes and not menudo. I hope they’ll continue with quality of the menudo. I will probably give one more chance if not gotta find another place for it.”

The parking sitiation is horrible no parking other than street parking. And you have to stop traffic to park. The place could use a sweep and counter clean up.. has many tables with high chairs. May not be disable friendly. But overall a nice place.”

I got two orders of the chicken noodle soup and a Footlong Oven Roasted Turkey sandwich. I also ordered the Doritos Nachos footlong as well. My wife enjoyed her soup and sandwich. The nachos Footlong was delicious but I wish the portion would've been more. The customer service was terrific when I came and the staff were really friendly”

“Great quiet little cafe with tons of healthy beverage options. All types of fresh juice mixes, smoothies and coffees all made to order. Plus a variety of small bites. I walked from my work place down the block. The place has a very chill and home vibe. The staff was super friendly and helpful in assess me in making a decision. I ended up with 2 fresh juices and a smoothie for me and my coworkers. They made everything fresh right in front of me. And it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back to try everything on the menu. I got the tropical breeze juice and it was very delicious I highly recommend it.”
