“It was my 39th birthday and every restaurant was full but this one. They sat us very quickly and was ready to take our order. They gave us bread and water to start. We order a Pizza with pineapple. Wood fried type. It was good! But what made it super memorable was our hostess Sean. His demeanor and warm welcome. We felt as if we met a friend. He had a diet coke pitcher that surprised us! We thought it was water! Diet coke on tap , in an Ice Cold pitcher?! YES PLEASE! Please relay this to Sean. You made my family and my experience welcoming and fun. Thanks Sean. “Swing Inn, Temecula, CA is located right in the heart of Old Town Temecula. My family and I had been wanting to try their food for a while, and we finally made it there for lunch.

Before you're seated, a staff member outside will ask whether you prefer indoor or outdoor seating. We ordered the Family Platter for $159, which is meant to serve 2–4 people. It was huge! All the meats were flavorful and so tender, they were easy to cut and even easier to enjoy. We couldn’t finish everything, so we asked for a to-go box and saved the rest for dinner.

There’s free parking behind the Swing Inn, which is super convenient.

By the way—did you know that actor Dean Norris from the Netflix series Breaking Bad took over the Swing Inn? My kids were hoping to meet him, but unfortunately, he wasn’t there when we visited. Some people said he does occasionally stop by as a surprise, though, so you might get lucky!

If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend sitting outdoors. Yes, it can be hot during the summer, but they have misters to help cool you down, and you’ll get a nice view of Old Town. Just keep in mind that it can be a bit noisy due to music from the pub across the street and passing cars. If you prefer a quieter and more private dining experience, indoor seating might be a better choice.“

“Date of visit was September 6, ‘25. Absolutely fantastic from the moment you walk up to the outside of the restaurant. Walk in the door and you feel you will have a good experience. Immediately asked if we were celebrating anything before we were even seated at our table. Once we were at our table, the service was top-notch, pleasant and enjoyable. Our waiter treated us like we were his friends even though we had just met. Service was prompt. Glasses were refilled with beverages without need of asking. Very knowledgeable about the food. The atmosphere top-notch, wonderful seating, great ambience. Even down to the flatware and dishes. They were the same ones. I’ve seen them used on a show. Very nice. Chairs very comfortable to sit in. The food absolutely did not disappoint. We had the lobster risotto, which had me asking why I hadn’t had anything like that before in my life. The scallops wonderful. My fillet absolutely scrumptious, cooked to perfection. Asparagus, crab for my steak topper wonderful. Dessert the Chocolate Mousse wonderful with the chocolate gelato, so rich and fulfilling. The signature dessert from Gordon Ramsay of sticky toffee pudding was divine. Also very rich and decadent.

We ordered shrimp spring rolls and each of us the large Pho Ga (chicken pho). Spring rolls are big but peanut sauce was only so so. The pho ga was epic. Came with fish sauce which was a plus. Great flavor and enough for 2 meals. Service was excellent and the young waiter's were very polite. Easy upgrade to 5 stars and yes, we will be back.“

Food, overall good with one little complaint. First far better than Subway or Jimmy John's and this was a relief.

I ordered the Peppered Club and swapped the Swiss cheese out for Smoked Cheddar on a white roll toasted. She made it perfectly.

I felt the slice of turkey and ham was a bit too transparent, it was lost in the over size roll and toppings, while good, just poor value for what you get. This is why 3 stars for food.

Said it was the BEST gf pizza she's had (have tried loads). The meatball sub was dang near perfect, though I'd prefer the meatballs cooked just a bit more and pan seared for a nice bit of crust. The balls were smashed, which evened the sub bites (no bites of just bread after getting a whole ball in one bite). Love the idea & and I will be doing it from now on at home as well. Wouldn't be surprised if they make the hoagies for the subs. Lovely buttery roll, though, did start falling apart towards the end. I enjoyed just as much with a fork, though again the meatballs may have been just a bit undercooked/mushy. We added just a bit of parm and loved everything. We complimented on the sauce and was told, "My mamma makes it every day!" Seriously loved this place and want to be back ASAP to try some traditional Italian fare. Definitely recommend!“

“I was at Pechanga for some conferences, I did not see this restaurant earlier because I was only playing at the casino after hours and I was distracted, until the last day that I was staying there, (after losing and winning at the casino hahaha) I happened to go back and see this medium-sized gem restaurant, it is stunning the cleanliness and the decor is on point. After we waited around 7 minutes to be seated our waiter was polite and knowledgeable on every question about the menu, The pictures I posted are for his recommendation which we kindly followed after some talk with him, From the appetizers to the main dishes everything felt original, You can see in the middle of the restaurant how the prepare your order, the raw tuna was amazingly fresh and tender, like butter melting in your mouth, the same with the wagyu beef, even the experience to cook it was nice, it was our first time doing this, the pork was savory, tender and juicy they were pair with some sweet potatoes fries with honey glaze dip. If I return to Pechanga Resort I definitely would eat more than once there!!! Ohhh! And please try the sake it had a taste like melon it was refreshing but be careful with the alcohol percentage haha.“
