“First time trying the fancy fresh fruit smoothies here. The Purpke Kiss with blueberries, banana and kiwi (requested no added sugar) was the best healthy smoothie I've had and perfect on a hot day. Service from the young guy was friendly and helpful.

“After buying my jacket from Botas Guadalajara, the lady who works there recommended I eat at Panchi's restaurant across the street from them. Panchis restaurant had plenty of parking in the back this Thursday afternoon, and it wasn't busy. The ambiance was excellent; they had excellent classical Mexican music playing in the background, and after seeing some of the customers' food, I knew this would be good. They have an extensive menu, but I wanted to try their taco al pastor and their taco governador. The total for today's meal was $12.75 with tip. While waiting, I noticed they also serve tap beer and all meals are serve with chips and salsa.
My meal took about 10 minutes to make and the tacos looked delicious. The taco al pastor tortilla was a little bigger than your standard taco tortilla and packed with a lot of meat. Al pastor was cooked perfectly, and it had a lot of flavor. The taco governador was cheesy and had plenty of shrimp and flavor.
I had a great first experience coming to this restaurant and ll recommend it to friends and family. Looking forward to coming back.“

“First time coming here. I have passed by so many times and never stoped because feom the outside it looks sus. But after trying it today I will definitely be back. Good prices and good flavor. I'm surprised this place isn't busier. I had a carnita burrito and it was very good. The salsa is like the tacos unico red salsa, love it!!! (the pic shows the burrito already half eaten lol).“

“I always passed by this place, and the last time I went by, there was a line of cars waiting to order at their drive-thru, which got my attention. I visited for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon to see what all the hype was about. Glancing at their menu, I noticed they offer various mariscos and Mexican foods. Since I wasn't hungry, I ordered two tacos, one de asada and the other al pastor, the total came to be $4.60, which I thought was a good deal. The ambiance was relaxed, but it was pretty loud due to being located on a busy street (Rosecrans and Paramount). The seating was limited, but they had a drive-thru, which explained the line of cars I had seen previously.
It took about 5 minutes for my food to be prepared, and I also helped myself to some guacamole sauce from their condiment bar. My tacos were served in double tortillas filled with meat. The Asada was perfectly cooked and had a really good flavor. The al pastor was also delicious, and the guacamole sauce enhanced its taste.
In conclusion, if Tacos Giyo #2 can serve two delicious tacos, I can only imagine how tasty the rest of their food must be. I look forward to returning to try their mariscos.

“I love this place. They have delicious vegan/plant based options.. jackfruit pastor, rosemary, and pulled pork. These are the tacos but I have also had the sopes, tortas, and burritos. Both my vegan and non vegan friends like the food here. A hidden gem with the veg vegetarian vegan plant based friendly options Tip: call ahead to ask if they have vegan options as they sometimes run out of jackfruit. Plus call ahead because sometimes they tend to close earlier than online hours say Updated from previous review on 2024-05-13“

“Anytime I’m around the area I stop for some tacos de asada and the birria tacos are so good!!!! I used to get the milanesa torta but it seems to always be out. Service is fast, sometimes I call in my order so it could be ready when i arrive. It usually takes 10 mins at most when they are busy.
Staff is nice and very fast!“

“I go for the chilaquiles with a side of Birria, just delicious. The initial wait feels long but it is worth it. Aguachile and shrimp tostadas are great too I just don't care fior the bed of lettuce they put. Why the lettuce? Mariscos don't need lettuce. Either way it is so good it all goes down my belly.“

“The La Chingona Torta is massive! The amount of meat and ingredients packed in it makes it almost two meals worth of a torta. The amount of meat was decent and it had pierna, milanesa, jamon, chorizo, salchicha & bacon. It seemed to go together well except for the size of it being unable to eat neatly.
The service was good and the staff was nice. There's no AC and the parking is a bit tough to find. It's connected to a money wiring service and whatnot.“
