“Dear Habit, in light of Lynsi Snyder, CEO and owner of in and out. Her making some very stupid statements. And not keeping her mouth shut on her politics. Habit should copy their business model. They have a lot of employees that look happy. They have what's called, in and out university where they train people. They move food quickly in store and the drive thru. It certainly makes customers happy. One thing I've noticed at the Habit, the drive through is slow,, at times very slow. The habit needs to fix that . I always go in store because I don't feel like being lazy. Lynsi Snyder family started the restaurant in California and been successful ever since 1948. Unfortunately she said some bad things about her home state. She's a billionaire. And moving to Tennessee. She claims it's too expensive to raise a family and do business here. Well we're not as stupid as she thinks. Lot of people are now boycotting in and out. I will not eat there anymore. So what I am basically saying, the Habit born in Santa Barbara, I will only eat at the Habit. I think the CEO and big shots at the Habit corporate should take advantage of the situation with in and out. The habit could be #1 in California especially Southern California. Copy their business model.. They move a lot of product in a very short time. Makes up for the amount of employees.“

“The best Mexican food spot in Lakewood is Basil Pizza and Mexican Food, don't let the pizza name fool you. The are focusing now on what they do best the Mexican side of the menu and were NOT disappointed. First up: The Birria Taco Plate. Juicy, savory, and the dipping consommé is mandatory. Then, these vibrant Red Chilaquiles with the perfect egg on top. And for the brunch classic: Killer Huevos Rancheros with red and green sauce. Serious Mexican food game. Go check them out!“

One of the staff members let me know they were remaking my burrito because they forgot to put avocado on it which was really kind of them, and also offered me a beverage on the house while I waited which was really kind and appreciated. I ate the burrito while omw to workout and it was delicious! My price was high because I got all the protein and avocado. Otherwise it would have been $18+tax and tip“

I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! I had the Beach BBQ, which was packed with meat, fixins’, and flavor, and my husband loved his Sipcolli. We also shared the Beach Bites, which were a tasty addition. Be warned, we were unable to finish the Bites because our sandwiches were so loaded.

The customer service elevated the experience. My husband originally ordered the Beach Meatball, but they were running low on meatballs. Instead of disappointing us, they upgraded his sandwich to the Sipcolli at no extra charge.

The true highlight here is the pizza and their delicious cheesesteak sandwiches , which is above average and well worth a visit. The crust is perfectly crispy, the toppings are generous, and the flavors come together beautifully. It’s clear they take pride in their ingredients and preparation.

While the service is standard, efficient but nothing fancy. However the quality of the food makes up for it. If you’re looking for great pizza without the frills, this spot absolutely deserves 5 stars.

It had a perfectly crispy thing crust. The toppings went well together. Bestie ordered the chicken with broccolini and mashed potatoes. The chicken breast was thinly sliced (butterflied) and perfectly seasoned. It was also delicious. For dessert we shared a bread pudding. It was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. Their meatball sub is fantastic too with great crispy but soft bread. Cannot go wrong with the place. Parking is tough but manageable even on street.“
