“I rarely write restaurant reviews, but Butchr Bar genuinely impressed me. I went with a friend for dinner, and everything from the food to the atmosphere felt on point.

The vibe inside is cool and welcoming. Dim lighting, modern touches, and a kind of laid-back energy that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It’s the kind of place that feels special without trying too hard.

We started with a couple of appetizers. I ordered the beef tartare, which was absolutely delicious. The meat was fresh, seasoned perfectly, and paired with baguette that added the perfect texture. It had just the right amount of tang and richness without being too heavy.

My friend got the deviled eggs, and honestly, I ended up stealing one. They were creamy and super flavorful and way better than your average deviled egg. We both looked at each other after the first bite and were like, “Okay, this place knows what it’s doing.”

For mains, I decided to go all in and ordered both the lamb and the burger. The lamb was tender and full of flavor, cooked beautifully with a pink center and served with a sauce that brought it all together. I kept slowing down my bites just to make it last longer.

As for the burger, I ordered it protein style since I’m cutting back on carbs, and it didn’t disappoint. Even without the bun, it held together perfectly and tasted incredible. Juicy patty, sharp cheddar, tangy pickles, and pickled beets all wrapped in crisp lettuce. It felt indulgent but still light enough that I didn’t regret a thing.

My friend had the Wild Rivers ribeye and was seriously blown away. It came out with a perfect crust and was cooked exactly how they wanted it. Super tender, juicy, and flavorful all the way through. They said it was one of the best steaks they’ve had in a long time, and I believe it.

The service was another highlight. Our server was friendly, gave great suggestions, and really knew the menu. You could tell the staff actually cared, which made the whole evening feel even more enjoyable.

We didn’t end up getting dessert, mostly because we were too full. But everything we saw going to other tables looked amazing, so I already know I’ll be back to try something sweet next time.

I also had a glass of wine that was amazing, they had a great selection. You can tell their wine selection is just as thoughtful as their kitchen.

What stood out the most to me was how intentional everything felt. The flavors, the presentation, the pacing of the meal. It’s clear that someone put a lot of heart and pride into creating this place.

If you're a fan of high-quality meat, amazing wine , and warm service, Butchr Bar should be on your list. I left full, happy, and already thinking about what I want to try next.

“Been coming to this bar for quite a few years and there’s been a few changes here and there. Overall though, it’s a bar I still very much enjoy on my days off or right after work.

I love this bar in the morning when it just opens. Tbvh the BEST time to come. You get the special and get to enjoy their patio and the fresh air and plants. Love love loveee this place for that. Staff is really nice and attentive any time of the day.

Great selection of cocktails and beers and always served with chilled glasses. Atmosphere is hip and chill and great for conversations or being alone.

“Came here pretty much when they opened for the day, there was already some people inside for a Saturday. When we finished eating, the restaurant was barely half full?

Food wise, the bbq meats are pretty decent cuts for what you pay for and the big shrimp we ordered is actually pretty good. They didn't have a real fishy smell, which is a plus, knowing some places just serve what they have sitting out.

There is a sauce bar with appetizers near the front of the restaurant, the bar itself is already baked into the price, there isn't any extra fee. There is also a self serve sherbet freezer with three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and rainbow, as of writing this.

For the non grill foods, the soup and cold noodles are decently portion, definitely should split it up with others so you don't overfill. The popcorn chicken can be ordered as a half order, and to my surprise, it actually is pretty decent in terms of texture and juiciness, only downside is I wish they used some spice in the coating to give it a bit more oomph.

Overall, if I am ever in the area here, I might consider coming back when I'm looking for AYCE.“

“I was a doorman to one of the Main Street bars, and customers would always tell me to go checkout Jay Dee's. So I finally did after 2 years. It's a cool place to hang out and have a drink. Drinks are reasonable, and it's a cash only bar. Customers are friendly too, & no haters. Has pool tables and darts. No, dj, but they have a jukebox playing cool music. I’ve been coming here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. I always make sure to bring friends and family when they are in town and everyone I’ve brought raves about the food as well (including the non-veg options). I live in the area and will always choose this place over Silverlake Ramen, which is actually closer to me! After he started to feel better, I burst into to tears (it was pretty scary!) and our waiter came to check on me. They even comped our beers, which they absolutely did not have to do! “DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN FIND AMAZING GREEK FOOD @ THE L.A ZOO? I didn't, until now! Reggie's Bistro has to be one of the best places I've ate at in a recreational place (zoo, theme park, etc.). I got a falafel bowl and OPA was it delicious! It came with Quinoa, arugula salad, Hummus, Tzatziki, Artichoke, Roasted tomato, Cucumber, and Harissa oil! Not only was the salad tossed and mixed when it arrived to my table, but everything came out fresh! The dressing and veggies were phenomenal. Vegans and veggie addicts, you'll like this place! All the food items here are made to order! The falafel was perfectly crispy, I have zero complaints. I topped my lunch off with a large chocolate chip cookie and I was in heaven.

Reggie's is pricey but definitely worth the visit, dang this gator can cook! I also saw some delicious burgers, sandwiches and wraps on the menu. I wish I lived closer so I can visit everyday! The staff was pretty good, they took our orders quickly and were friendly enough. Drinks are self-served at the drinking fountain and you pick up your food when your handheld buzzer goes off.
