“The Drawing Room and their bartenders are truly overwhelmed by the kindess, generosity, and compassion shown by each and every one of you during our these two days donation drive to support the brave firefighters of the Los Angeles Fire Department and fire victims in our community!
Thanks to your contributions - whether it was donating water, drinks, essential supplies or simply spreading the word - we were able to make a real difference in a time of great need!
To our donors, your generosity is a beacon of hope. To our volunteers and bartenders, your dedication and hard work made this drive possible.
Let's continue to support one another, uplife our community, and honor the heroes who protect us every day!“

“How I love this neighborhood club! People are friendly and fun. I stopped by early on a Saturday night and was dazzled by Xmas decorations they just put up for the season and a great new band playing out for one of it's first gigs. As the band played to an enthusiastic audience, everyone in the room felt like we were sharing something special.
Drinks are delicious and affordable, they don't charge for water- even bubbly water! Drop in!“
“Great "Hidden" off the beatn path. Dark (New York Style), Old, Wooden Historic Bar!!With stong *Inexpensive* drinks! Located in a haunted hotel. Yup!! (All my photos taken there seemed to have disappeared????)
Parking: Park on street paid. Can find some "unmetered spots." But can park in hotel and get validated.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes its wheelchair friendly.“

“met the owner. nice guy!! loves the steelers...nuff said!“
“ITS A REALLY COOL, CHILL SPOT TO HAVE A FEW BEERS AT. THE BARTENDER LADY IS THE BEST. SHE IS ON TOP OF WHATEVER IT IS THAT SHE HAS TO DO. MY BROTHER AND WILL GO EVERY OTHER WEEK. WE'LL HAVE A FEW BEERS AND PLAY ON THEIR DART MACHINES. IT'S A REALLY GREAT ENVIRONMENT IN THERE ALL THE TIME. ITS NOT TOO SPACIOUS, BUT THAT DOES NOT STOP IT FROM BEING A RELAXING SPOT TO GO CHILL WITH YOUR PEOPLE. I RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE. WELL NOT EVERYONE, ONLY 21 YRS AND OLD“
“This medium-small, former cool dive bar was bought out by a corporate entity that has changed the vibe of this place for the worse, I'm sorry to say. Real money isn't even good enough for this place--it's no cash allowed! How crazy is that? They must love paying those fees to the banks! Wait, WE'RE the ones paying those bank fees as it's included in the prices. I hate this policy. It's unAmerican not to accept our currency. Who do they think they are? Not everyone has a card with money on it. I guess if u don't, you're probably not welcome here. Metal detectors at the door, then they wand u again for entry. Purses get searched too. The security here seems excessive overall with security guys watching u everywhere. It's unnerving + a buzzkill.
On the positive side, the live music presentation of this club is well done. Nice stage size--not too big, waist high so everyone can get a good view of the bands. Smaller sized audience area so you feel up-close + personal. Excellent sound system + monitors, sound guy is quick + very good at his job, + lighting is nice. It IS undeniably a good place to see + hear a band.
What's crazy is there's nowhere to sit inside, not even a bench along the wall. How lame is that? Gen X says Thumbs Down + my disabled BF was not happy about it. Large outdoor patio is the only place with any seating.
Decent drink variety here but all come in a can, even the cocktails. Mix of craft beers + bubbly fruity drinks, mainstream beers + pre-mixed cocktails at standard bar prices. No cash allowed, remember.
Overall, if a band i want to see is playing here, I'll go again. But this place no longer has any warmth or personality so I'd never go there to just hang out. It's become just another corporate venue now. The Echo has no parking lot. Street parking is busy but possible plus there are 2 big paid parking lots around the corner. Next door is a pizza slice place + ice cream place too if u get hungry.“
“Low key unpretentious bar. Good bang for your $$ buck !!“
“It's a classic 50s or 60s local dive cocktail lounge with great dinners that are reasonably priced!“

“get it. putos!!!!This place is lit.“
“As a dive bar kinda guy, this place really resonates with me. Love that the pours are good (Sara at least) and cheap - $5 for a well whiskey sour or a full pour of wine, $7 for call whiskey rocks. Cash only which is OK, just know ahead of time. And went there last night with my daughter for a quick drink before dinner - loud, obnoxious drunk group of sketchy dudes in the booth beside us. Lots of cussing and vulgarity which is fine with me but it was loud enough to be distracting and the bartender didn't really do or say anything to them, which may have been uncomfortable and awkward so I get it.“

“I came here on a whim after wanting to avoid the crowds at Zebulon. Honestly this bar is a hidden gem, and thank god it hasn’t been flipped upside down and turned into condos. The outside is a neon lit heaven from the 1960s. You enter and the staff are warm from the get go. There is a left and a right side to the bar: The right side is a sizable dance floor complete with a gigantic disco ball, Dj booth, a couple leather booths, and panther sculptures. They played disco and funk this very day and the crowd was diverse and cool. The left side is the bar where there a probably 5 or six extremely comfortable retro leather booths. They have a great tequila selection but you can also order a $4 Tecate. My kind of joint full of vibe that i can’t wait to try again!“

“This bar has some of the best drinks and atmosphere in all of Los Angeles. Service was top notch as the bartenders and managers went above and beyond. This will always be my go to bar in the are and I cannot recommend it enough for great drinks, music, vibes, and people.“
“First place I’ve seen with exceptional AC feels like an actual fan , on their dance floor. Amazing at cooling it down. On Dodgers Game days go early you will be in line. Super fun but small. $11 wells and $8 hard ciders/kombuchas/seltzers. Happy hour is 4-7 I think ?“
