Every once in a while I get a craving for a Big Mac. It's reminds me of the Original Big Boy hamburger. They are close. The only difference is the Big Mac has Thousand Island sauce on it and the Big Boy has relish on it. The quality of the Big Boy hamburger at the restaurant in Burbank has gone downhill in recent years. The Big Mac is better at the Pasadena restaurant I go to. I go through the drive thru so I can't really talk about what it's like inside sitting down.
Not sure why the low reviews. It's a McDonald's and provides McDonalds food at McDonalds prices. Since the pandemic we usually order off the app and pick up at mobile order parking or drive-thru. It's not gourmet food, but sometimes I'm in the mood for a Big Mac and I prefer McDonalds fries to most other fast food places. We drive a little extra to go to this location as the food is normally better (and pre pandemic, the sit in area was nicer) than our closest location.
