Goldeneye Wineries • $$$

“This winery is truly a must-do in the Anderson Valley! The property is stunning, and is a feast in and of itself. It’s lush with aromatic flowers, apple trees, and of course views of the vines across rolling hills. Taylor was so knowledgeable, personable and and generous with her presence. She was there when I needed her, and gave space to enjoy in between. Make this stop a priority on your next Mendo/Anderson Valley/Norcal trip!“

Roederer Estate Winery • $$

“Wow. Again Roederer delivered...and no, I wasn't double fisting...Comparing the brut to it's magnum counterpart thank you very much! A beautiful setting to celebrate the retirement of a close friend. Although the service was slow, the view, champagne and company made it all worth while.“

Anderson Valley Brewing Co Brewery • $$
17700 Boonville Rd, Boonville - 6.52 miles

“I dropped in on a sunny Saturday, 08/23/25 at 11 a.m., with friends on our way to wine tasting and camping around Anderson Valley. First impression was mellow and inviting—quiet patio, big shade trees, and plenty of space to exhale before the next leg up Highway 128. As in my photo, I started with a pint outside and let the morning do its thing.

I tried the Hop Ottin IPA and the West Coast IPA, and both hit the mark—clean, bright bitterness with enough citrus and pine to keep me lingering. We grabbed a bench and let the stories roll while watching the hills warm up. Boonville has its own quirky history, and the brewery sits right in that laid-back pocket where vineyards meet redwoods and time slows down a notch. Parking a 32’ RV was a breeze, which isn’t always the case in small valley towns, and the place was tidy and easy to settle into.

The only miss was the service; the person pouring felt checked out—efficient, but not much energy or guidance. It didn’t ruin anything, but a little enthusiasm would have matched the setting and the beer quality.

I’d gladly stop again, especially if I’m threading a day of wineries with a palate-cleansing pint and some fresh air. Great fit for travelers who appreciate a simple patio, solid IPAs, and stress-free parking“
