“Solid spot for Japanese-Korean food in Whittier. The menu is small but focused which I like. We got the Cheese Katsu meal, Omurice, and Egg Sando. The Katsu was cooked well, not too greasy, very flavorful. The Omurice was my fave, fluffy and the sauce was really good. Another highlight was the Yuzu Panna Cotta we got for dessert. It was citrusy, not too sweet, great texture, we really enjoyed it. Their Matcha Yuzu-ade was refreshing as well. Good service and a relaxed atmosphere. We will be coming back to try some things we weren't able to fit in this time around.“

It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. “Auntie Qiu Kitchen’s Pork XLB definitely hit the spot for my partner and me when we had cravings for XLB in Alhambra, didn’t get to try their crab and pork XLB but we'll have to come back to try it out! I definitely recommend the fried pork chop sticky rice cake, it’s super crispy, savory and the glaze on the pounded crispy rice cake is a great compliment. The server was nice and attentive and the food came out extremely fast!“

Portions are huge, everything hits, and they’ve got BOGO beer and soju all day which doesn't get better than that really. Went with a group and honestly, we barely made a dent in the plates. We got the giant katsu, tteokbokki w/ ramen + cheese, and bulgogi cheese fries. The katsu really is humongous. The tteokbokki was solid but the bulgogi fries was my fave of the night. The place gets busy, but food comes out fast. Overall a good spot to grab a late meal with friends and walk out feeling full.“

“I've been to many Pho restaurants and this one stands out because, they offer unlimited noodles for free!!! They have different types of noodles but the traditional noodles you typically get with Pho, you can ask for an unlimited amount. Just the noodles so no proteins but how cool is that? One portion was good enough for me, but I saw plenty of other customers asking for extra noodles. What a way to stand out. What adds to the appeal is that the food was good. I ordered the Pho Tai with meatballs and the food tasted clean wasn't greasy or heavy. The service was good and brisk as most Asian restaurants are. The menu boasts Japanese favorites that most people will be familiar with. The value-packed combos are a real treat. I've also enjoyed the chicken and beef teriyaki bowls, as well as the sushi and roll offerings. While they may not offer as many fish varieties as other places, the ones they do have are all fresh and satisfying.

For a small, mom-and-pop restaurant, I'm glad there's a place like this close to home and affordable. The service is good. I've visited many times and the owner is a man of few words. The other staff have been nice as well.

“Visited Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle for the first time this weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is located in the plaza on the corner of Atlantic and Garvey, with plenty of parking.

The menu is simple and straight forward. You start by choosing the desired soup base (bone broth, tomato, hot & sour, spicy) and then the protein offered under your desired soup base. If you wish to order additional toppings; there is a list of add-on you can pick from. The restaurant gives you the option to order using the QR code taped on the table or with the staff member. Soon after placing the order, they bring out the toppings to the dish, which consists of your desired meat, lettuce, generous portion of rice noodles, tofu, ham, green onion, seaweed, wood ear mushroom, corn, egg, etc. Lastly the soup base is served and you add the add all the toppings to your soup.

I ordered the tomato soup with sliced brisket; love the strong tomato flavor in the broth. If you are a tomato lover, this is the soup base to order.

Will definitely be coming back to try the other soup bases.“

Excellent beef dish with sprouts and tried for the first time silkworm pulpo soup which was better than I expected once I got over the idea and look of it. Some drunk noisy obnoxious patrons to be expected but otherwise had a great meal in a small mom and pop Korean resto. Will definitely come back and try other dishes. I've also had their teriyaki chicken sandwich and it's delicious! They also have some tasty fries, and I usually add a order for my daughter and I to share. Next time I stop in I'll be trying their bbq beef sandwich, which looks amazing.
