“Javier our server was professional and attentive. We ordered 1 anticucho and 2 fish ceviches. This by far is the best place for Peruvian ceviche in Los Angeles. The fish is tasty and fresh. I am so pleased with sauces, and the quality of the food. This place has replaced my old peruvian restaurant. Make reservations and enjoy this savory feast.“

“Toyitos is a jewel in the city of Downey. Best Rotisserie Chicken around. I love Chicken with fries and Salchipapas( sliced hotdogs and fries). The chicken has special peruvian flavor and peruvian sauces. Don’t forget the ice cream Lucuma flavor, and the peruvian soda Inka “

“Such a rare hole in the wall gem! It’s rare to come across a family owned place that’s got food like this. I liked the food and the service. For this area where there’s not a lot of good Spanish options, we’re lucky to have this place in our neighborhood. Highly recommended!“

“Ceviche de Pescado was almost perfect. Plate wise it reminded me of what I had in Peru. Had all the right additional ingredients and marinade. Only thing holding the dish back was the fish being used (swai, very fishy taste) and prep (pieces were too big). One suggestion i would do, reduce the portion size but get a better quality fish.“

“The food was incredible! Our table ordered Chupe de Camarón, Chaufa con carne, milanesa de pollo, pescado a lo macho, and ceviche de pescado. Everything was superb! Our first time here and we will ABSOLUTELY be returning. One of the best Peruvian restaurants we’ve been to in a while!

A little short staffed, so you must have patience. The wait is worth it!

“Good food, good ambiance and amazing customer service. The restaurant has two aji options, one spicy (green) and one super spicy (orange). The servers are super nice and friendly. The quality of the beef is great, soft, and tender.

The Aji has a kick and it’s definitely addictive. I would definitely go back. The prices are still very competitive.“

“The first time here and the service was great, friendly, and accommodated a large group.I ordered the Lomo Saltado Beef, which is very tasty. The ceviche de pescado (picante) was delicious, I also ordered the Papa ala Huancaina. Everything was delicious. I recommend going to this small hidden gem.

Vegetarian options: There are several options for vegetarians, I wouldn't really recommend it for vegans as several of the dishes will have some kind of cheese base in the sauce or dish.“

“This place is very good to eat, food is great, aswell as the service. I ordered the Tallarin Verde con Pollo, and it was just amazing, also got the maracuya and it was vey fresh, but a bit too sour for my taste. If you come here walking you're okay, but the parking is not good, once i had to park somewhere in chinatown and walked here. Servers are nice and attentive, would recomend eating here.“

“Very nice and clean restaurant. Friendly and courteous staff. Interesting entrees are in Peruvian cuisine. The green salsa that they give you is not guacamole! Be careful with the tasty, but very spicy hot salsa.

Parking: The location is part of a larger outdoor shopping center.“

“The service is good, what surprises me is that they charge you 3 dollars for the yellow sauce on the grilled chicken, the owners should think about it, why the chicken comes with their sauces and they should not be charged, unless the customer orders an additional one, greetings.“
