“Pho craz is really good ! it’s my go to spot. I don’t eat red meat so I go for the chicken noodle soup ! with a side of chicken wings and a smoothie so far i’ve only had that mango and strawberry which were both good. Try it ! You won’t be disappointed”

“Absolutely excellent meal! We usually go to Indian restaurant in Berkeley but wanted to try something closer to home. We got the samosas, chicken momo, chicken tikka masala, goat curry and the butter naan.

The goat curry was one of the most flavorful dishes we’ve had in a long time. The meat comes on the bone so expect a little bit of work but it’s well worth it for the flavor. Extremely rich, flavorful, and spicy. Chicken momo is also worth calling out as a must have. Odd yet true, but the water was surprisingly pure and fresh. Don’t know the last time a restaurant’s water caught my attention for a good reason. Overall a surprisingly great meal with a nice view.

Service was wonderful and all the food came out hot. Definitely our new favorite local Indian spot and we’re already looking forward to returning.”

“This place was recommended to me by my sister, who loves Boba. Wow! Just WOW! It is my first time getting Boba here, and I like it compared to others. Their Boba is cook to perfection 👌.

I got strawberry macha with Boba, and it's absolutely the best strawberry macha out these. SO YUMMY. You can taste the freshness. Thank you.

“This restaurant is very good. The galbi was excellent so was the quality of the fish especially the sashimi. My s was delicious as well I ordered the rainbow roll I recommend it. Do not put Ponzi sauce on anything just have the straight fish with wasabi Ginger if I could give them six stars I would. Hope it stays the same quality. The food servers were great, both Yang, and Mia gave me exemplary service.”

Fresh chips and salsa varieties available at the front, along with fresh water, self serve. we asked for containers and got free, fresh chips as well. Let's all support this family business!”

“Ordered Korean food for pick up while visiting a friend nearby, super homey good quality Korean food! We ordered food for 4 adults and 2 kids. We got a kimchi tofu and seafood tofu soup, chive pancake, mackerel, galbi, spicy pork, spicy chicken wings and regular chicken wings, we ordered more kimchi and rice, it also came with a lot of Banchan, and japchae for the kids. The order was easy to place online and we paid online for pick up. I missed the turn into the plaza but found street parking. The server was helpful and there was a small dining room inside. I would totally go back and order from there in the future if I’m feeling Korean food while Im in the area.”

I couldn’t even believe it was the same restaurant. The Pinole location is 100 times better than any Nick the Greek I’ve ever been to. Super clean, super friendly and the most delicious beef-lamb. “Uncle Chungs is the best. My family has been coming here since before I was born. Princess chicken and honey walnut prawns are a must. And if you like crispy noodles try your chow mein Hong Kong style.

Food portions is enormous and prices are very reasonable. Any residents that live in West Contra Costa County towns. Come by and give this place a shot.”

“Tachikawa has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The service was prompt and cordial. The food is very good and served more in a "Home-Style" vs a more extravagant style you will find a some sushi/Japanese restaurants. The fish was fresh and we enjoyed the sushi presentation very much! The Tonkatsu was crispy and plentiful. These are my two gauges for any Japanese restaurant. If the fish is fresh and the Tonkatsu is not tough and the breading stays on the meat, I will come back!”

My favorite order is the vegetarian delight on thin crust with bacon. Trust me on the thin crust. For some reason the taste of the thin crust is much better than original crust.”

“I don't really like bars for the most part, but this place has a great music scene!

I came to support a friend at the jam, Ceasar Myles and the Dreaded Truth reggae band came from the SF peninsula, and the next thing you know we had a Saturday night gig.

Now they want us back...

The family atmosphere on the Tuesday night jams is amazing, I really can't say anything bad about the place.

As a musician, getting a consistent warm welcome and a plate of food is over the top for me.

“We made our first visit to Ristorante Due Rose last evening (6/2/2023)--what a amazing dinner we had! I had the Linguine Tutto Mare (thin flat pasta with clams, squid, prawns, scallops and fish, seasoned with tomatoes, crushed red pepper, garlic and white wine.). I think the best Italian dish I have ever had (and I have been to Italy). The pasta was cooked to perfection--none of the flavorless stuff you might find elsewhere, and the sauce was out of this world. My husband had the Grigliata di Mare (Grilled scallops, prawns, calamari, parsley, lemon sauce, roasted potatoes and arugula salad) and also raved about it. Great service and reasonable prices. 💞We will definitely be back!”

All of my favorite dishes were on the menu and the hot, fresh food arrived quickly. The whole restaurant smelled delicious! “Can't rly give atmosphere 5 stars because it's takeout only but the wife and I love this place! Banh mi is excellent, as are the bowls of whatever. I don't think there's anything the owner chef woman can't make well. She used to run 3 restaurants! Also she is an angel. Go there for the owner chef woman if nothing else. Also egg rolls and crab rangoon are yummy.

to find the place a comfortable temperature inside. Before, I had stopped coming because it was just too dang cold in there.
