“Thai rice spoon was our caterer for our wedding back in September. They did a phenomenal job! Our guests were STOKED to have Thai food for dinner. My aunt and uncle even went to the restaurant in Berkeley for more food the next day! The food was excellent and the staff was great. Thank you so much Thai rice spoon for making our day perfect! “Food was very good, good service too. Really good location and it reminds me of a 1940s diner. Pretty good menus and selection of food. \nBut unfortunately this is probably my last visit. Which is really too bad as I really like the place and would recommend it to everyone. But, as I was leaving I noticed a sign in the widow I hadn’t seen when entering. Stating that law enforcement was not allowed if they don’t have a warrant. Well I support law enforcement and if they aren’t allowed to dine here then I won’t be back either. Too bad, I really like this restaurant.“

“I picked up a special order 3 speed bowinkle gangly wrench with all the factory attachments at the tool shop, and asked the guy there if the food next door, at Sol Taqueria was good.
Any good, he yells..It's about the best in Crazy Town, just ask anyone!
Well, since I was parked right in front of the joint, and had a great recommendation, I blasted in and had the most amazing pork tacos ever, but it was the refried beans that were out of bounds! They were extremely flavorful, creamy, and as smooth as smooth can get. Sol Taqueria is a 5 star experience! ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Very good!! Totally worth a trip for authentic tasting Thai food, and because it’s a bit tucked into Richmond you’ll save a couple bucks per dish compared to more gentrified restaurants only a couple minutes south.
I love the soft super wide noodles in their noodle dishes; softer and even wider than typical Thai noodles in say, pad see ew. And I love that they give lots of noodles vs a ton of veggies and meat; if I want a noodle dish, I want noodles! If I want a paleo dish, I’ll order one😊
The basil eggplant was a little different from the usual, which I loved! Lots of eggplant, but also a healthy mix of shredded cabbage, small carrots, chopped green beans and adorable tiny Asian mushrooms🍄🍆🥬🥕 I did get no protein and asked for just lots of veggies, not sure if that influenced things.
I like that this place is a tiny bit different from the same-y Thai dishes you get everywhere always! But still it’s the core dish you know and love.“

“This place is delicious. I live in Berkeley and it has kinda ruined to other kebab places for me. It is so flavorful and good. I do take away, as they don't serve beer and the atmosphere is very casual but there are plenty of seats ant tables.“

“Rafael's catered our baby shower and were absolutely fantastic! From the inquiry stages to the day of, Frankie was an excellent communicator and made the entire process clear and smooth. I did the International Menu for 50 guests with some modifications and received so many compliments from family about how delicious all the food was! Their team arrived on time to our venue to set up and when they returned for cleanup, they made it such a breeze. Will definitely be a returning client! Highly recommend“
“Gretta, Lauren and team were truly incredible for our wedding in June in Piedmont. They kept excellent track of many details and went above and beyond on the day of to make things truly perfect. We had an Indian- Western fusion wedding and everyone commented on not only how incredible the food was (multiple guests said that the lamb was the best they’d ever had) but also how beautifully the food reflected both South Indian and California/Western cultures. We could not be happier with how it turned out. At every step of the way Gretta and Lauren were quick to respond, flexible, understanding, and creative, they and made the planning streamlined and easy. I highly recommend going with Jessica Lasky- it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!“

“I was in the Richmond area and I didn’t want any fast food. So I googled soul food/caterers near me and Soulfully Dope Kitchen pops up. From the moment I spoke to Chef Brittni I knew I wanted to make an order. She was very courteous, professional and let me tell you she didn’t disappoint when it came to the food. It was pipping hot, fresh and everything that I was looking for. I got the loaded baked potato, chicken Alfredo pasta an order of peach bombs (peach cobbler egg rolls) and special blueberry lemonade. I will be back and back with friends!“
“Michelle Exceeded Expectations for Wife’s Birthday PartyMy wife is hard to impress for her birthday. She doesn’t like expensive gifts, but does food-centered events and adventures with our friends. I initially considered finding a cooking class somewhere and invite some of our friends but all the options seemed like a hassle and a bit impersonal. I then read about a chef that would take the class to your home and I thought – perfect.When I contacted Michelle she listened to my objectives and we determined that a cooking demonstration centered on paella would be perfect. In fact, she said that she will make the event an evening in Spain. The challenge was going to be making this a surprise, but Michelle coordinated with all of us, and my wife was totally caught off guard. That soon turned to delight to learn that she had an evening with her friends and learning about how to make paella ahead of her. Exactly what I had hoped for.Michelle served great appetizers, and then presented a special ham and gave a talk about the region in Spain it came from and why it was unique. The yard was decorated with a huge LOVE sculpture, and every detail of the evening was well thought out.Dinner was for 11, and she managed to do the demonstration while coordinating all the activities needed for the approaching meal. Our guests loved the demonstration and Michelle talked about every aspect of the process. I certainly learned a lot.Dinner was fabulous. We had a garden salad, much of it from her garden. Then to the centerpiece, the paella. Everyone agreed it was delicious to say the least. Michelle made each guest comfortable, and everyone got personal attention as she juggled activities in the kitchen.As the evening came to an end, my wife kept repeating how pleased she was, and how she loved sharing this special evening with some of our closest friends. I could not be more pleased. After thanking her for such a wonderful experience, we went to bed while Michelle cleaned up. When we woke up the next morning everything was in order with some tasty leftovers in our refrigerator to savor over the next few days. Very cool.As I declared at the dinner, Michelle made my dreams come true for my wife that made my dreams come true. So Michelle, thank you so much for a wonderful experience my Terri and our guests will always remember, you absolutely exceeded my expectations.“

“Joshua catered for us multiple times and it was always memorable. The food is amazing, he is funny and kind and the service was smooth. We recommend his catering highly and have had multiple people ask us “who was your caterer?” because the food is that good!“
“Just had my daughter's first birthday and our dishes were a hit. Chef Henry was great at communicating from start to finish and i can't wait to try more of his menu items in the future. We had 50+ guests and there was plenty of food to go around with leftovers at the end which is always an added bonus. The variety of apps, entrees, and desserts available blew me away and eventually I settled on a mix of veggie and meat dishes for the party. My favorite dishes were the brisket sliders and the garlic noodles. I ate everything so it was hard to pick a favorite. My guests were pleased with the selection and it made for a perfect birthday celebration. I want to plan another event soon just so I can try more of Henry's creations! Highly recommend especially for large group events.“

“DAMN GOOD MEXICAN FOOD! I don't care what anyone says in the reviews, anyone giving this place less than a 4.5 does not know what they are talking about. This place is literally one of the only good places to eat authentic Mexican food. Their regular burritos are 10.95 and they are literally the size of other restaurants that charge you 13$ for "super" burrito and them shi be nasty. Bomb ahh asada fries, the guacamole is so good, it has a perfect mix of lime, pepper, salt and avocado. The tacos taste the same as the ones do in mexico, you want authentic? This place has tacos that are literally the same thing that they sell in Mexico, literally where tacos come from! (Specifically the ones from guadalajara, those are the ones it reminds me of). Burritos are fantastic. The asada is the best from every other taco place. If you want to find a better place you have to drive at least 30 more minutes south/southwest. This is an honest review by a real Mexican, not a gringo that only knows shell tacos and chimichangas.“

“I have had the pleasure of using Fiorella's meal prep services for the past 6 months and counting. I originally found Fio via a referral on a Facebook group. Since then, I've been ordering weekly for my wife and myself. The food style is latin fusion and the menu changes weekly with the flexibility to adjust to your needs. The meal prep is geared towards eating clean, eating lean, or supplementing your own meal prep style. I can tell you my experience is eating clean meals twice daily and skipping breakfast, which has helped greatly towards my weight loss. The calories listed on each dish along with the ingredients definitely is a plus point if you're counting. Without Fiorella and her services, I'll still be my old tubby self. The meals are flavorful, and well presented with fresh ingredients. Meal prep doesn't have to be boring and bland! I challenge you to give it a try. You're not locked to no membership fees or subscription long term fees, but instead given the flexibility to order whenever, or skip as needed to suit your schedule. I love this setup! Thanks Fiorella for all the delicious food and helping my journey.“
