“It was an easy store to enter. The staff was very responsive and explained the Greek cuisine for the first time in an easy-to-understand manner, and we had fun and enjoyed the delicious food. As a Japanese person, this was my first time trying all of these dishes, and I was surprised at how delicious they were. “There were 10 of us looking for a Persian restaurant in the LA area. We called Javan 30 minutes prior to our arrival and they accommodated us immediately. We ordered a great variety of appetizers and meals. They were all delicious. I was the only one who ordered lamb kebob knowing there is a lot of hit and miss when ordering lamb. I cautioned the waiter that if my food wasn't done the way I wanted it, I will return it. A few minutes later, a gentleman came to our table. I am not sure if he were the manager or the owner. But he personally came to me and told me that he uses the best spring rack of lamb and that I won't be disappointed. He told me he would not accept returning of the lamb. But I knew I would return it if it was not up to par. He told me he would personally grill it for me. My rack of lamb kebob was one of the best I've had and I am an avid lamb meat eater. The service was phenomenal. A few servers were standing around at all times just in case we needed something. Most importantly, when the bill arrived, it was accurate. I know that some restaurants take advantage of big groups and over charge people thinking no one will notice. But I always notice. I highly recommend Javan Restaurant.“
“Ordered a falafel burrito and the hummus with pita, and cheese quesadilla with chipotle sauce on the side via Uber eats.I wasn't crazy about the pita bread itself and the hummus was just ok, but the falafel burrito was great! I love the fries in it and the tahini is delicious. The burrito is very large and very filling, I ended up saving half for the next day and it was still just as tasty. I highly recommend getting a side of chipotle sauce to dip anything you order in!“

The linguine made with zucchini and topped with mouthwatering clams and porcini mushrooms was a fantastic alternative for those that cannot eat regular pasta (still an option). I recommend closing the meal out with a flavorful chocolate flourless cake or tiramisu desert! The service is impeccable as one of the Italian owner navigates through the busy tables making sure everyone's' needs are met. The chili and garlic sauces that accompany the food are fresh made too and really add zing to the meal as I alternate what to dip the various meats into. My cousins are Lebanese so I grew up with these specific Mediterranean spices and it brings me to my childhood every time. The portions are amazing and it's always ready on time. I've been getting take away since covid but he's reopened the dining area. Sitting in their outdoor seating area on a nice day is really lovely as well. Great service. Great food. Never disappoints.“
