“Yes, Wholefoods is a bit expensive for certain items but it has so much choice and also has a lot of reasonable priced items! We wanted some food to go and had the vegan grilled vegetable sandwich and vegan smoky tempeh TTLA sandwich - these were both delicious! My favourite was the first and my boyfriend preferred the tempeh one! They also have vegan pizza to go if you're in the mood. I also couldn't resist getting a box of chocolate cookies and a chocolate vegan cupcake - all amazing. Updated from previous review on 2018-06-10“

“This place is awesome. I discovered it a couple of months ago in a search for ultra clean, alkaline water that I could fill my glass dispensers with. Previously, I was buying a glass bottled water that had a reputation of being the best on the market. But when I read a water report, it was still coming back with high lead and contaminants. Even though it’s from a natural spring, sometimes air pollution still plays its part. This place has a very intricate filtration system. The water is balanced and alkaline, and it’s also treated with crystals for spiritual health and wealth. Each of their water dispensers are filled with a different energy relative to the crystals. I’ve been reading a lot about how crystals charge water. There’s lots of videos about it on YouTube, where the electrical properties are measured after the water reacts to the crystals. Anyway, besides all the other good stuff, I love the way the water taste and makes me feel, so I’m going to stick with it. And as a bonus, I love when Ad is working. He is literally the coolest, sweetest, most caring person ever. It’s always a pleasure to walk in the store and see him. The owner Sophie is a pleasure as well. Not only do I love the water, I feel good about supporting their business, because they are both so wonderful.“

My bionics was great! I was able to eliminate the fruits I did not want (any melon), and the cream was good. The portion size was great and I could not stop eating it. Me and family look forward to eating there again.“

“I'm so happy I had the opportunity to checkout Ubatuba Açaí in the Beverly Grove area, it reminded me of being in Brazil my favorite country to Visit. The staff Gilbert and Elany (not sure if I spelled her name right) were very helpful. And Elany the manager and most of the staff is from Brazil making it feel more authentic when you eat the food. They both helped me decide which empanada and açaí bowl to order as well as the toppings. I ordered the Beyond Philly Empanada and added the chimichurri and hot sauce which made it even more delicious. I also had an açaí bowl with granola, almonds, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas, and almond butter. It was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was on Ipanema Beach watching the waves. Both items were very filling too, and I can't wait to come back again with my friends. There's metered parking and also seating outside perfect for a sunny day in LA.

“Unassuming and friendly little cafe just off the Venice Beach boardwalk - went there on a whim and so glad we did! Best vegan tacos I have ever had, and the acai bowl was delicious. Prices were reasonable, staff was super friendly, and this is the kind of little place every neighbourhood wants for their own. Definitely hope to come back for one more taco before we leave.“

The manager Caroline is so far above and beyond, in terms of her people skills and client centered service. I inform them what I like and ask if I have an account for them and give them the number (which I recommend getting even if you barely visit the place). It's relatively quick when it comes to the service and depends on, of course, if it's busy or not. Honestly, I would recommend buying their smoothies.“

“This may be a chain but the Amazon bowl is now my favorite açaí bowl in Los Angeles!

First of all you get a pretty big bowl for just under $13. Best of all you can ask for NO banana in the açaí! Yes! Too many places put tons of banana in the açaí and it ruins the flavor in my opinion. When you taste pure açaí you’ll see how tasty it really is! You can also ask for no banana as a topping which is awesome to me! The bowl needless to say was delicious. I also ordered an iced oat milk latte which came out perfect.

They have other offerings of course. I may try something else soon.

The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. Our tour guide, Wendy, was personable, knowledgeable, and lots of fun! All of the food we sampled was delicious and it was wonderful to be able to connect with some of the vendors thanks to Wendy's introductions. We didn't end up exploring much after the tour, which I would say was a miss on our part.
