We had no problems finding a seat on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of amazing outside seating looking at the lake. Side note my friend comes here occasionally and fishes on the straight. He took me here today and we almost caught a Sturgeon together.“

“My husband and I stumbled upon Baxter’s while looking for somewhere to eat for my birthday. It ended up being the best meal we’ve ever had! We had a view of the water, had amazing filet mignon tacos (they were so good, we ordered another round to go), and our entrees were to die for! My partner got the Beef Wellington and it was melt in your mouth! I got the scallops and they were positively delightful! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and not only was he kind, but you could see the pride he had for his restaurant. We loved it so much that we pretty much immediately decided were going there for our anniversary next month. I cannot recommend them enough.“

“This is a five star review from someone who doesn’t even like beer. The bartenders here are either very good at what they do or performing some kind of sorcery, but somehow they always manage to find something that I enjoy!

The beer selection on tap and in the fridge is super broad, really high quality, and constantly changing; the atmosphere is laid back; you can bring your own food in; and dogs are allowed! Their regular trivia nights and other events are always a good time as well.

However, we overheard the long haired male employee, I think his name was West, speaking negatively about a group of people sitting on the couch throughout the night. He seemed to be upset about where they were sitting. Kinda ruined our vibe but we had a good time and we'll be back.“

“One of my all time favorite spots to play pool, bartenders are great, they don’t gouge you for the drinks while having a nice selection of beer and whiskey. Security does a phenomenal job especially when the place is busy and they’re super friendly. With a pinball machine, shuffleboard, and darts it’s tough not have fun while you’re there.“

“Had a great time. Other bars were closing at 9pm on a Sunday and these guys were open until 2. I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Tucked away in a parking lot off of the main street. Turn down sos drive and left into the parking lot halfway down the hill, and you'll find it.“

“I really enjoy a beautifully cooked piece of salmon, which is not easy to come by. Quite often when I order seafood out at a restaurant it is overcooked. I can guarantee when I go to Roxx on Main. My salmon is perfection. Moist tender and juicy like it should be. I do enjoy her menu, which is very versatile.“

I got stuck in this commercial cesspool for four and a half hours and wandered around for 3 of them trying to find decent food worth the price or some store that wasn't marked up for garbage. In general I'll be avoiding the area but if I ever find myself there again I'll definitely go in for a drink and to get a brake from the depressing retail area outside.“

Stick with anything canned or be around tap unless you want to just do shots. I would be happy to pay a couple more bucks for an actual craft cocktail made with quality made by a mixologist. Besides that, the customer service is awesome, the rules and regs are more than understandable, and when they bring in live music you're into, it's a really good time. “Always enjoy the nights we can make it to dinner here. The staff is friendly and as long time patrons, we know many of the staff. Food is always excellent, fresh and hot. This visit nothing caught my interest on the specials so I was able to try a regular menu item I had not tried before. Service is excellent and in comparison to our previous regular which is nearby, we found this is to be less expensive, better tasting and generous portions. Definitely a must try if you want to deviate from your regular for a change.“

“Great bar for meeting people! Gotta go on weekends after say 10 pm when it picks up. Drinks are reasonably priced for Danville and the live music is usually worth the $5 cover. The mood there is great and everyone is out to have a good time. It's not a snooty bar or a dive either. I think the live music is what makes it attractive, otherwise it would be just another bar.“
