Chicken Shops near Pleasant Hill, CA

“Amazing chicken but even better service.

First time here didn't know what to order, I usually feel like the annoying customer everyone hates when I ask what to try for a first timer. Thankfully Leilani and Alexis were super sweet and patient with me as we went over the more popular items.

I ended up going with the new trio bundle and it was amazing. The cheese pulls on the mozz were top notch. The extra hot option is killer so beware. The chicken was brined and juicy throughout. I'll definitely be back.

Thanks again Alexis and Leilani for showing me an amazing first time at Dave's you've got a customer for life!“

“Our family always orders online and the food is always ready and fresh. The employees are always super kind to our family and treat us with respect. Often we would order online, and a kind employee, Erika, would always give us extra food or cookies. The service is excellent!“

“I kid you not, I cannot find a better chicken sandwich restaurant in the entire Bay Area than Lou's. When my friend introduced it to me 2 years ago, I feel in love with this place. The vibe is nice, the staff is wonderful and efficient in their work, and the product is amazing thanks to the aforementioned qualities. Each variation of their fried chicken sandwiches are great with their unique flavors, from simple buttermilk to their sweet caramel fish sauce and their savory karrage is ome you can't pass. I have only had their sandwiches and fries, but I will definitely try their rice and noodles plates in the future.

My only regret right now is that I didn't grab a sandwich before moving down south, but rest assured, when I come back to town to visit, this will be the first restaurant I go to. I hope this review and the fact that this is my first ever Google review will show how great this restaurant is.“

“It was our first time at The Melt, and Luis made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. He helped us choose what to try, and his recommendations were on point. The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. Luis checked in on us, made sure everything came out hot, and you could tell he really cares about the guest experience. Because of him, our first visit turned into a new favorite spot.“

“I’ve been to many fast food places, but this KFC truly stands out as one of the best. From the moment you walk in, you can tell the difference. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which makes the experience even better.“

“Great food and if you like hot, they’ve got it!“

“I'm going to El Pollo Loco for today because I'm going to order with a coupon a 12-piece leg and thigh family meal for today!“

“Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of fried chicken. I’d put Mr. Lee’s up against even some of the best of the bay like San Tung in SF. It really is that good! Get the Mr. Lee’s and Yang yum flavors! Go get some chicken and tell me I’m not lying here! The kimbap was also very yummy and perfect.“

“Love this restaurant! Best chicken around. Love the New salads they’re offering now. They’re all wonderful. The guacamole is made fresh each day and is delicious. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. Don’t get me started on their fresh chocolate chip cookies. Highly recommend!“

“I would like to appreciate Nour for her amazing work as a cashier at Chick-fil-A. The restaurant was very busy with a lot of customers, but she handled everyone perfectly and on time with a great attitude and professionalism.

I really appreciate her hard work and the way she treats customers with respect and kindness. This Chick-fil-A branch is getting better because of Nour. Great customer service and a great experience overall!“

“Was very disappointed with da chicken nuggets was told they were the best I bought a 10 piece but I don't agree mine were dry and not that warm when I got home 😕 I talked to an employee but was disappointed by their response.“

“I ordered a chicken katsu, but they then told me they were sold out and let me change it to a pork tonkatsu and also have me the option of a potato hotdog or something else because of the miss communication. super nice lady at the front. pork tonkatsu is really great. my only downside is they didn’t have unagi sauce as an option. it pairs really well with katsu“

“This is my go to place for Mediterranean food in Walnut Creek. The many bowls are really delicious and a good choice for a nutritious meal. The flatbread are really great and fresh tasting with unusual toppings. The staff is great and very helpful. I can't say enough how much I love this place!“

“Food was good as usual, however this location seemed to not have their trash bins and tables cleaned? At first we thought maybe it was because of a staff shortage, but when we looked behind the counter/into the kitchen, there were so many of them on duty. And the shop wasn't necessarily super packed. But the trash bins were overflowing and tables were not wiped. Maybe none of the staff wanted to do trash duty so they kept pushing it off hoping someone else would step up and do it? Either way, it wasn't a great experience cleanliness wise.“

“10 out of 10 completely. if you're looking for that chicken that just falls into pieces as you take a bite this is a spot to go to it is amazing and tender“
