Just came in after work to purchase $45 of mylar balloons. Needed 2 of them inflated. Was told I couldn't be helped because floral dept was closed. Although, I disagree. The front end manager could have blew them up for me or had someone do it for me. I didn't need a floral bouquet. The employees seemed frantic and in need of more help. They were stressed out. Not a pleasant experience. I ended up not buying the already blown up ones. I'll go elsewhere for service.
This store needs a Manager that actually has half a clue how to shedule a crew as well as how to stock the shelves with items that people want to buy instead of the cheap crap that clogs up the store. Today as six of us lined up at the ONLY open checkstand, the harried cashier decided to close the lane (I suspected that she had overstayed her normal shift), whereupon several more began stacking up. Ten minutes until a cashier arrived and at least another 5 or6 to open another....read full review

This Safeway is safe and there selection is good. The reason I'm giving a mixed review is, you have to make sure you get the whole sale deal if you are buying wet cat food. We got ripped off, and we had to come back and get some money back. We won't buy wet cat food again here, but we will get other items here.
