“What a hidden gem. I ordered a burrito and pupusas and was honestly impressed , the portions are incredibly generous and the prices are super affordable. Places like this are hard to find nowadays.
The flavor is traditional, authentic, and absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the care in every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“They’re made to order $1 Taco Tuesday is a tradition in my house! That’s also because our cook (me) gets a break. Everyone in my family loves Taco their Tuesday, even my dog knows what “Taco Tuesday” means and gets excited!
Their tacos are great, very authentic Mexican street food-style. Casual. Limited seating; mostly takeout.
Not strictly Gluten-Free because they have wheat-based flour tortillas or bread for burritos and tortas. So, dicey for celiacs.
Vegetarians should be fine, vegans OK with rice, beans, and tortillas. They can do veggie tacos and tortillas, just like in Mexico, except, there, every is Taco Tuesday.“

“Had an order of the Super Combo (~$8): three pupusa plate (bean & cheese in this case) with rice & beans on the side. Food was delicious, staff was mobile, and the ambiance was pebbled.PS: Note that (per verification with the folks behind the counter) this "El Aguacate" is the same as the old "El Aguacate" that used to be located on Clayton Rd....“

“I stop by one of my favorite places in concord and they have this concept call la casita del güero, authentic Mexican tacos, Mexican hot dogs and hamburgers, did I mention tacos are $1 from 6 pm to 12 am everyday!!! beef, carnitas, pastor 😋“

“First of all to earthwormandruw, to be complaining about getting more food than you expected is actually insane. Second of all, this place is so consistently good, fast, and great value for what you get. I got a burrito (which admittedly is making me fart so hard rn) and it was extremely delicious. “Taqueria La Plaza is a neighborhood gem!
My husband and I love walking here for lunch: He usually gets a burrito and I go between enchiladas and a breakfast burrito (which is offered ALL DAY!). There are so many meat choices! They throw in a bowl of chips and unlimited access to their salsa bar. I also enjoy their aqua fresca or horchata on occasion.
You can eat indoors or outdoors (both covered and sunny tables), or take your food to go.“

“I’ve been coming here for the last 7 years and their food is consistently delicious and portions are huge. Our go to is their chimichanga, flautas and al pastor tacos. The fish tacos are my parents go to whenever they come up from LA. They’re always a hit! The service is always fast and courteous. I’m also always impressed with how clean it is! Highly recommend.“

“I love this little gem I stumbled upon on Pacheco Blvd, Martinez. My chicken burrito was very good and the 2 little bundles of fresh lime wedges and sauteed red onion w chopped jalapeño were a delicious surprise. I gambled on a small clamshell of Salvadoran cookies and I had to make myself stop eating them. Everyone who has tried them, likes them. They're not very sweet, which I like. Their jamaica is possibly the best Ive ever had.I look forward to my next trip to Martinez just to eat here again.“

“Love the salmon and my new fav is the dynamite shrimp bowl!! Rice cooked perfectly, shrimp are perfectly cooked and just the right spicyness and bright flavors to perk it up! Delicious! My dad in law LOVES the fish and chips! Says one of the best ever and he’s in his 80’s and from the south so must be good ! Lol 😊 only bad thing to say is the parking in the center it’s in is awful! Staff is sweet and helpful! Thanks great experience !!“

“I tried write my review through the survey on receipt but it wasn't working.. So I wanted to share my experience here. I came in the morning and ordered breakfast sandwiches, unfortunately I was disappointed with the eggs being over cooked and just not tasting as they normally do. I called right away and spoke with manager Sarah, she assured me that I could come back in anytime for replacements. I've heard this before from other places without any resolution but I figured I'd give them the opportunity to make it right.. I took them up on the offer after school pick up, except I really wasn't in the mood for eggs after the bite from earlier, employee Alexis went way above and beyond to make things right for us! Giving us even more than what I had asked be the replacement! Besides being very thrilled with the food given, I was even more impressed with Alexis, her attitude and understanding really made my day and the kids were happy with extra fries and nuggets she gave. We enjoyed our meal inside, and on the way home we passed a hungry man and his equally hungry dog, we had our fill and we were able to feed them as well. Good karma making its way around I guess, felt good being treated kindly and to pass the kindness along. Thank you Sarah, Alexis and the rest of the crew for treating us so amazing today! We'll definitely be back.“

“Hi today I ordered 3 large curly fries with 3 jalapeno poppers of 7 which made 21 I got those I got also spicy chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese no white cheese nothing weird everything tasted great spent 40 dollars in there
Hopefully maybe I can get my other large curly fry tomorrow or something
