“I had dim sum today. In general, the food is comparable with Koi Palace and Mayflower nearby. The pan-fried bun is a nice surprise (the bun is soft & fluffy); the deep-fried tofu is crispy. I didn't try any expensive items but for regular dim sum, it is very tasty and top quality.“

“We ordered 6 dishes and everything was very good (taste and portion). This is the best restaurant (for casual dinner at East Bay area (Oakland, San Leandro, Hayward, Castro Valley, Union City, and Fremont).
There were many customers yesterday (Saturday) so go early to avoid the line if you want come to try.“

“If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food, Mayflower is the place to go. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding, and the portions are generous—definitely great value for the price.
The highlight for me is the Peking duck. It’s perfectly prepared, with crispy skin, tender meat, and all the traditional accompaniments. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere.
Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere made the dining experience even better. The bus boy named Christian went out of his way to keep us our table clean and refilling our drinks.
Highly recommend Mayflower for anyone craving delicious, authentic Chinese dishes!“

“I was searching for a dim sum place and this restaurant’s name came up with decent reviews. I went there but found out that they no longer serve dim sum, only the regular Chinese food menu. We ended up ordered congee and lobster noodles and those were quite good.“

“3.5 stars rounded up
No wait on a Saturday when they opened at 11am.
Very friendly service. Large portion sizes so 4 dishes were more than enough for 5 of us.
Bamboo Shoot Shredded Pork - this was an unique item, I've never seen this anywhere before. The pork was tender and had good flavor. The bamboo shoots were soft and had good texture but not as much flavor as the pork.
Braised Tofu or whatever it is called on the menu- looks salty because of the dark color but it was“

“This chain originates in Guangdong Province and has been in existence since 1981.
Limited menu featuring traditional Cantonese healthy favorites: rice noodle rolls, porridge/congee, curative herbal soups, and steamed rice/meat.
Great place for a clean healthy meal.“

“At Golden Sand Harbor, everything just felt right. The tea came in cups with a clever grooved design — so hot we wrapped them in napkins, and the staff immediately brought extra without us even asking. Small touches like that set the tone.
The food was excellent: Singapore noodles light and flavorful, har gow and shumai perfectly done, and the beef tripe that the gentleman at the door suggested — exactly the authentic taste I remembered from Shanghai. He knew what I meant, and he was right.“

“The food is always good here but the physical restaurant is slowly declining; the place is dirty and lacks upkeeping. When BK first opened, one can classify it as a slightly upscale “bistro”. Now it’s just another run down Chinese restaurant.“

“Here's the review with the added information:
"Great take out place for roasted duck and pork. My fav is duck roasted plate which came with rice and steamed cabbage. Loved the duck flavor. It's in the lions supermarket complex, just outside the supermarket. Not recommended for dining-in. It's a quick grab the food and take away."“
