“We came here in 1980,81,82. It was a one room cabin . Bar with 3 bar stools- one behind the bar. An old 50'S fridge, 6 pack nehih soda, 6 pack beer(I think Olimpa). The elderly man had to be 80 plus. We chatted a bit with him. The cabin behind had an outside shower. I think he said primitive over 100 years. Dirt road in. Single lanes mostly. And you couldn't get in there in winter. Snow! Memories going there were great.”

“Stopped in our way home today & it was great! We had quick service and loved the touch of tic tac toe on the table while we waited. I think the guy who helped us with named Taylor - he was great too. The burgers were delicious & cooked well!”

“The feeling and atmosphere were amazing. You want a bar. This is your bar. It will be different from the town vibe, but it's a bar with 2 pool tables and great drinks. I got cocktails that tasted great, and my boyfriend got beers that were off the tab, but overall, the taste of alcoholic drinks they give are great. Price range is normal and they have specials too. The other great thing is that it's dog friendly, I'm not too sure on cats. The owner and the bartenders are really friendly.”

“Staff is great, pizza is fresh and delicious. I have been twice on this work trip. I LOVED the parmasean garlic wings. They did make my 24 cnt wings slightly incorrectly but they fixed it before i left with no issue. Patio is dog friendly and they can provide a little tin for water of needed.

If you're on a work trip, real nice to go to while doing laundry next door.”

“Just a Safeway Starbucks but the single employee working was helpful and typical Starbucks espresso. Not great but better than a gas station coffee. It was convenient and no other options nearby when passing through Pollock. 5 stars based on what you expect from Starbucks. Not quality but availability. And the great employee of course.”

“We stopped at this Subway for a couple of hours while doing some work, and the experience was amazing! My sandwich was made perfectly 👌 — fresh, tasty, and exactly how I wanted it. Huge thanks to the two gentlemen working there 🙏 for their kindness and hospitality. They even offered us drinks and chips 🍟. Truly one of the best Subway experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend this location!”

“We had a birthday dinner at Wonderful Chinese last night. When the reservations were made, I mentioned we were celebrating 3 birthdays. I did this to see if it would be okay to bring in a birthday cake and they said no problem. Much to our surprise when it was time for cake they brought out one, they had bought to add to the celebration. It was very touching and even more fun to hear Happy Birthday sung in Chinese. Thank you to everyone at Wonderful Chinese for a scrumptious dinner and helping us to make some special memories!”

“This place is so wonderful. Their food is amazing, especially the baked mussels. I bring kids and their patio is perfect for a family situation. They pepper the kids with little treats and are so kind and patient with families. But they also offer a very serene setting inside. We will support this restaurant forever. Amazing people, fresh and wonderful food.”

They helped us choose what wines were the best and what they pair best with, along with aging times. Fairly priced and the wines are amazing. They made us feel welcomed and provided a comforting environment. Definitely recommend!”

“I LOVE this place! Though it may seem small, it makes up for that tenfold in heart. The person working the bakery window was so kind, and the slices of fresh pie were heated up for us, so how could we say no to a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top?! I enjoyed the berry and apple slice, and I also bought a frozen pie of the same variety to take home. Their selection of goods in the shop and frozen items is terrific!”

“PROS: Food was fantastic! We had the chili dog and prime rib sandwich. Onion rings were on point and even my picky eaters couldn't get enough of the potato salad.
CONS: It took 20 minutes to get our order taken after sitting down and another almost hour to get our order. The staff was very nice but if you aren't prepared for an hour and a half plus dining experience this is not the stop to go.
OVERALL: The historical factor with the quality of taste of food makes this a worth while stop on your high country adventure.”

Tina is an exceptional cook, Frank and outstanding winemaker, both are lovely hosts, and their entire team is so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. My mother and I are excited to visit again.”

“First visit to Jack Russell Farm Brewery and it definitely won’t be the last. The outdoor seating area is awesome. plenty of space, relaxed vibe, and really nice views that make it easy to hang out for a while. We tried a couple of pale ales and both were solid, easy-drinking, and well made. One of the regulars, Rick, was hanging around and ended up grabbing us a few beers and sharing some great stories, super friendly guy and added to the whole experience.”
