“Called b4 going and asked if they had any bolillo, and the lady said no. I told my son to go and get sweet bread anyway. So when he gets there, he is getting Conchas and quernos, and he asks her if there is any more bolillo and guess what she said: "Yes, I have a couple left. These are the last ones and they are the small ones. My son brings them home, and they are the big ones. I am glad she gave them to my son. My son is a handsome boy and courteous, so I think she liked him. And gave him those last pieces. That was a blessing. Their bolillo is so good. Mmm. Warm out of their oven with a little butter, and they got me. Fresh Mexican bread on the daily. Very nice bakers and clerks. Fresh coffee in the morning. On your way to work, stop by for some Mexican sweet bread and hot coffee.“

“Love the cake… it’s light, airy and delicious! I ordered it through the phone Saturday and got it the next day the following morning for my best friends birthday!!! I got a coconut flavor and they used shaved coconut which gave it a delicious texture to the cake. The frosting was not too sweet as well. The cake was $35 plus i got two birthday candles for the age which they have and it was worth the extra few dollars ! ($1-2)“

“Very kind service.
The bolillo/pan frances are fresh and soft.
Very delicious.
They bake their bread freshly and the bakery smells delicious.
I loved their bread so much that I now must go there to get my bread.
Their tamales are delicious as well! 🫔
And I love their empanadas🥟 with custard.
Their cheesecake is delicious too!
They also have a fridge selling sparkling water, jarritos, Jumex, gallons of milk,🥛 juice, 🧃bed quick, and ofc canned sodas too.
They have comfortable indoor seating booths too!
And when you come in it smells so good 😊 👍!.
I absolutely recommend this panadería to anyone who needs/wants bread, tamales, birria, pan, or pan dulce!!!
Vegetarian options: Most all breads are vegetarian with the exception of some dishes that have meat, but are clearly labeled.
Dietary restrictions: They have multiple lower sugar breads, and most of their items are vegetarian. But I'm not sure if there are vegan items as well.
Parking: Street Parking, difficult to find parking as they are always popular.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They can smell the breads and eat.
Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide enough to go in with wheelchair but there's no wheelchair seating I noticed.“
“Best donuts in town if you're picky about the dough and glaze like I am... the tiger tail is amazing but they sell out quick... also pink raised.. yum and old fashions, buttermilk and maple... coconut awesome. They don't need a ton of gunk on top of the donuts because these are just plain delicious.“

“Best kept secret in town! Great bakery and restaurant! If it's your first time, you can't go wrong with the Huevos Rancheros. And by all means, have some baked goods. Don Alfredo has a small, but dedicated clientele who appreciates his culinary masterpieces. Just don't be in a hurry, because this is food prepared after ordering it, and masterpieces take time. If you appreciate great tasting Mexican, home food; this is the place you've been looking for but didn't know existed.“

“Been wanting to come here for years after hearing so many people talk about this panadería! It’s huge inside and there so many different kinds of pan dulce to choose from. The place is clean and tidy. They also have tamales and other Mexican food to go. I grabbed about a dozen different kinds of pan dulce, and the taste lived up to the hype, sooo delicious!!! Next time I go I’ll have to get some tamales…I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area! Highly recommend!“
“A great little stand outside the cross section of Holt and Indian Hill Boulevard. I believe it's where the old Montgomery Ward building used to be. My wife got four churros; plane, strawberry, caramel, and tres leches. They were warm, crispy, and she said very good. She is from Guadalajara so I will have to take her word for it. It's a small little kiosk outside, but if you get a chance go there you won't be disappointed. They are $4 a piece.“
“My family always got birthday dinner for a member from a restaurant in Porter Ranch, and their Pita bread was awful. This January we we got their Pita bread with an order, it was incredible. I saved the wrapping just so I could remember where it came from. Great work, Pita Pit Bakery. You're Pita is the best!“

“We went here after our usual spot for tamales was closed. I want to say this place is an absolute gem for tamales hidden here in OC. They are very flavorful and they don't skimp on ingredients! We ordered pork and chicken tamales. The masa is perfect, not too dry, not too mushy. It's a perfect ratio of masa and meat. The flavors are amazing and create a happiness of flavors with the spices and chicken and the pork. Both meats were tender, juicy and flavorful, not dry and bland and chewy. They are a bit spicy, but not overpowering or sickening. As a friend's nephew once explained spiciness to me, they don't poke your tounge too much, just a little. I highly suggest an ice cold Coke to go with these tamales. That is a heavenly combo. I really think you should give this place a try for tamales. I will definitely return for more. I didn't try their breads yet, but I definitely will try them another time around.“

“Colee’s Treats and Eats absolutely nailed it with this Beetlejuice cake! It wasn’t just a dessert—it was the centerpiece of the entire party. Every single guest stopped to admire it, and it fit the theme perfectly. Beyond how stunning it looked, it tasted incredible—fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet at all. You can truly tell how much care and talent goes into her work. If you’re looking for a cake that wows both visually and in taste, Collee’s Treats and Eats is the place to go. Highly recommend!“
