“I go to Cal Poly, so I go here occasionally. I love the Tuna Melt, as well as the Chicken Mozzarella and Spicy BBQ Chicken subs. Pretty much every time I go, I get a Green Monster smoothie, which is literally my main source of nutrients on campus. The Strawberry Mint lemonade is great too! I usually get a side of Harissa Mayo, but the Avocado Lime dressing is good too. There have been a few times that I've been there where my food took wayyyyyy too long to come out, but otherwise their service is reasonable. Since it is on campus, the restaurant can get crazy busy at night, especially because they are one of the only restaurants on campus open late. The restaurant is usually full of college kids, so I don't exactly know what to say about the ambiance. I took a picture of their nutrition facts, so I have attached it below.“
“For our 36th anniversary we decided to try Spaggi's for the first time. When you walk through the doors you immediately are taken in by the beautiful decor and layout. We were greeted by the most pleasant and friendly gentleman, Leo, who immediately made us feel like we had been coming to the restaurant for years. He gave us a tour of the restaurant before seating us. The food, par none, was superb!! The portions were generous and the presentation picture worthy. The decor and ambiance was lovely and quaint, dimly lit, with linen tablecoths. Our waiter Cameron(sp?) was helpful and well-informed when describing the specials, and couldn't have been more attentive without being intrusive. I would add pictures but there's no "add photo" on this review. We will definitely be returning to Spaggi's and invite you to try this little gem of a restaurant nestled in Upland.“
“The food was really good, but the gal working behind the counter seemed to be annoyed when I asked her a question. The same to sit is awkward with a bar around the wall with the windows and a table right by the soda machine where I had to stand way to close to a table of dinners. They have outside sitting which would have been great if it wasn't cold that day, they had heater but they weren't on and I wasn't going to ask the annoyed gal behind the counter.“

Weekends are packed but the food quality is always amazing. I always recommend this place to people. If you try anything please try the mango habanero wings! They are the most perfect thing ever! The pineapple cider(if you drink) is so refreshing. I love this place so much!Parking: Plenty of parking right up front and easy to find.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the games they have. “I have now eaten both takeout and dine-in at Heemo Sushi, and the quality was great in both settings. The first time was dine-in with a friend, and the only thing that was a little confusing was that my friend and I waited for probably 10-15 minutes for them to seat us when it seemed like there were multiple open tables. Not sure if they were just short-staffed, but maybe a brief mention of the reason for the wait would have helped our experience just so we weren't wondering. The food was great - my favorite was the "Spring" roll with various fish wrapped in thin slices of cucumber, and no rice. Definitely a great choice when you're reaching middle age and trying to cut carbs that your aging body can no longer burn like it could when you were 20. Also a bonus: the server gave us a free little salad with fish and tomatoes. Sounds a little odd, but it was pretty good, definitely as a freebie. Will come again!“

The waitress that brought our food was very friendly. The double cheeseburger was perfect. It had fresh veggies like lettuce and tomatoes. The Patties were thick and juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries were a bit lacking in the flavor side but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. My wife said the chili cheese fries were really good, the chili was amazing. Now we get to the strawberry shake.... hands down one of the best strawberry shakes I've had. Not sure what kind of ice cream they use for their shakes but, it was delicious. Definitely will be going back.“

“Came across it while looking for something different on DoorDash. The DoorDash feed is insane; however, the food here is great. You can never go wrong with the loaded fries (Nicks fries). Easily share them with someone or if you can put down fries like me, order them. The beef/lamb wrap is delicious. Hard to deviate to something else because I enjoy this so much. The restaurant is clean and the staff was super nice. I don't order from DoorDash anymore because I feel more comfortable just going to the restaurant. Give them a try!“

Patience was key and the bar and wait staff are ? Champs for working so hard on a Sunday St PADDY'S day. Beer and alcohol service for that day was also available outside on the patio. Enjoyed a cold one streetside with other friendly folks waiting to get a table. Once we were seated the wait staff was fast and polite. Drink order came around fast and surprisingly the food was just as fast too. I highly recommend this place for the fish and chips. Great batter, comes out crisp and light, good tarter sauce and their coleslaw is just the way I like it. Better yet they have one of my favorite Irish Cream Ales on hand Killkenny. Great Red Ale which is always on tap here throughout the year...Definitely coming back. My wife had ordered the same food dish and big thumbs up from her too...she doesn't drink alcohol so she ordered a Shirley Temple to which they served in a large beer ? mug which made her happy too. Would absolutely recommend this place as there is a great bar and restaurant atmosphere and setting in this quaint downtown setting of La Verne. A shout out to manager Anthony who was serving beer on the pation and showing great hospitality to everyone outside.Parking: Small downtown area next to college so parking is a little competitive depending on time of year and time of day and which day of the week. The food is always good and the price is right. It's very nice to have a place to get good food and not feel like you're being ripped off. “Glad I found Tony's French Dips in Downtown Pomona. I was lucky enough to meet the owner that still makes the sandwiches the right way. They have been open since the 1950's and still serving the Pomona community with their amazing sandwiches. I had the 50/50 Pastrami and Beef dip, both are amazing the Pastrami with mustard and pickles had to be my favorite and the dip was perfect! Come to Tony's French Dip!“
