“Some of the best Mediterranean food in the area- which is saying a lot.

Chicken is always juicy; the rice is always flavorful; the salad has the perfect acidity level and balance of components; hummus is clearly house-made; the toum is rich and potent.

The food is great, and the entire place is usually run by one fella, so have some patience- it's not McDonalds, it won't be ready in 30 seconds.

Slow down and enjoy yourself- well worth the wait. Don't bother with food delivery, just drive down there like a normal human being.

My only gripe? The pita could be warmer. That's it- that's my only complaint.“

“Farmer Boys never disappoint. When I lived in Chino in the late 80's I lived next door to the original location on Philadelphia. My roommates and I had to restrain ourselves from walking next door all the time. The zucchini sticks were our favorite. I left Southern Californiain in 1998. On every visit to LA area, Farmer Boys never disappoints.“

“The manager knows my order from memory. I haven’t had an issue with the food, the staff, or the environment thus far. I’ve been coming here for a while now. The staff is always nice and informative. “I was honestly flabbergasted by this experience in the best way. My DoorDash order got mixed up with someone who had the same name, but I didn’t even know there was an issue before the owner of Dr. Grubb’s called me.

They explained everything, told me to keep the wrong order, and said they were already on their way to personally deliver the correct one. My order was small, just for one person, but they still went completely out of their way to fix it.

Stumbled upon this place from an Instagram reel and was not disappointed at all. Fish is surprisingly fresh for San Dimas(owner has their own seafood distribution) and rivals that of higher-end omakase style sushi restaurants in So Cal while maintaining a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

“Had it delivered as they put out a thanks for being a customer coupon for free delivery which is a plus. Pizzas were still hot, the cheese tasted like real cheese, and the crust is airy crispy and flavorful. Toppings were not skimpy and are quality meats with good flavor. Delivery person found us right away which not many doordashers can do so that was a plus and he was nice and not in a hurry. He also didn’t mind our barking Maltese. Good job Pirates!“

“We ordered the spicy hummus, garlic fries, beef shawarma, babakenush?, and cauliflower. My friend saw the baclava and had to try it. So we started with desser. The pistachio was very crispy and chewy and was my friends favorite. The walnut was sweet and chewy which was my favorite. Everything was absolutely delicious! The spicy hummus had a little kick at the beginning but as we ate we didn't taste the kick anymore. The cauliflower is lightly fried and so freaking delicious! I ate it by itself or with some hummus. My friend ate it with the babakanush and some cauliflower sauce and was in love. I tried her babakanush. I don't like eggplant but this was really delicious! Had a lovely garlic flavor that was slightly addicting. The garlic fries was just fries sprinkled with garlic powder but dipped it in the hummus and it was good. The pitas were really good too. I could've eaten more if I wasn't so full. But the beef shawarma was freaking AMAZING!!!!! We both said this was the best Mediterranean food we've ever had. I said no tomatoes to my beef shawarma which I'm glad I did. The flavor was absolutely amazing without it. Definitely 10/10 no complaints at all. And service was awesome too! “Tried the Ninja Roll, Tuna Roll, and Salmon Roll and honestly everything was so good. The sushi rolls were huge. I’ve had a lot of sushi around Orange County, but this was probably the thickest sushi roll I’ve ever had.

The shrimp tempura was also impressive. The shrimp itself was really big and thick. I don’t think I’ve seen tempura shrimp like this anywhere else in OC.

The salad was surprisingly amazing too. Definitely don’t skip it.

We finished with macaron ice cream for dessert and it was a perfect ending.

The owner was very kind, and there were 2–3 chefs working when we visited. The shorter chef was especially friendly and made the experience even better.

For me, this is easily one of the best sushi roll places in Orange County.“

The host assigned to our table did not check up on our needs as often as I had hoped for.
