“The H S Express Delivered, this sushi spot is nothing fancy but is low-key with dynamite fresh flavor and a nice selection of sashimi, sushi, rolls, and a few other goodies to be found at sushi restaurants. The decor is simple, and the service is good ,and the food is very fresh. This is a very small establishment with 5 tables and 2 seats at the bar, still brand new to the neighborhood . I noticed a lot of takeout and a steady flow of patrons to this spot, but I believe that will change when they find out how good this place is. Also, there are only two sushi chefs, so relax and enjoy the time. There is no alcohol served here, so don't let that spoil your experience here. You did come for the Hamachi experience. “Just finished dinner here. Overall experience was amazing. Burger was top notch. I had the Hermanater burger and wife had the chicken chipotle sandwich. Both came out quick and were very tasty. Burger patty was crispy outside but still perfectly medium. Service was wonderful and we came in just before a dinner rush. Staff made us feel like regulars. As the rush started I could tell they do have a lot of regulars and know them by name. Ambiance was nice and relaxed. Finished my burger before I could take a pic.“

“I have now eaten both takeout and dine-in at Heemo Sushi, and the quality was great in both settings. The first time was dine-in with a friend, and the only thing that was a little confusing was that my friend and I waited for probably 10-15 minutes for them to seat us when it seemed like there were multiple open tables. Not sure if they were just short-staffed, but maybe a brief mention of the reason for the wait would have helped our experience just so we weren't wondering. The food was great - my favorite was the "Spring" roll with various fish wrapped in thin slices of cucumber, and no rice. Definitely a great choice when you're reaching middle age and trying to cut carbs that your aging body can no longer burn like it could when you were 20. Also a bonus: the server gave us a free little salad with fish and tomatoes. Sounds a little odd, but it was pretty good, definitely as a freebie. Will come again!“
“Glad I found Tony's French Dips in Downtown Pomona. I was lucky enough to meet the owner that still makes the sandwiches the right way. They have been open since the 1950's and still serving the Pomona community with their amazing sandwiches. I had the 50/50 Pastrami and Beef dip, both are amazing the Pastrami with mustard and pickles had to be my favorite and the dip was perfect! Come to Tony's French Dip!“

Waitess was nice but seemed new. The only drawback was she seemed to get busy with a couple of other tables and didn't come back to our side for most of our stay. “Food here is always good with big portions and good prices. The aqua frescas are large with free refills. They have a large menu but not too big and tons of drinks options. They have tables to fit large parties and an upstairs area that could be used for a dinner party. They also have a bar behind the restaurant seating area and an entrance from the rear of the building.Parking: There are some spaces in the front and a larger parking lot behind the buildings.“

Easily share them with someone or if you can put down fries like me, order them. The beef/lamb wrap is delicious. Hard to deviate to something else because I enjoy this so much. The restaurant is clean and the staff was super nice. I don't order from DoorDash anymore because I feel more comfortable just going to the restaurant. Give them a try!“

Service was slow with the beer as demand was high and the servers and bar staff were frantically filling orders for ? folks who were chugging away the green beer and other mixed drinks as fast as they were presented to the patrons. Patience was key and the bar and wait staff are ? Champs for working so hard on a Sunday St PADDY'S day. Beer and alcohol service for that day was also available outside on the patio. Enjoyed a cold one streetside with other friendly folks waiting to get a table. Once we were seated the wait staff was fast and polite. Drink order came around fast and surprisingly the food was just as fast too. I highly recommend this place for the fish and chips. Great batter, comes out crisp and light, good tarter sauce and their coleslaw is just the way I like it. Better yet they have one of my favorite Irish Cream Ales on hand Killkenny. Great Red Ale which is always on tap here throughout the year...Definitely coming back. My wife had ordered the same food dish and big thumbs up from her too...she doesn't drink alcohol so she ordered a Shirley Temple to which they served in a large beer ? mug which made her happy too. Would absolutely recommend this place as there is a great bar and restaurant atmosphere and setting in this quaint downtown setting of La Verne. “Went In for lunch with my wife. I had the teriyaki beef lunch special. It came with Miso Soup, small salad, teriyaki beer with steamed rice, and a crispa California roll. Food was good but my only gripe with it was that the steamed rice tasted a bit old and hard. I also asked for spicy Mayo to go with my sushi roll, but I never got it. The waitress didn't really check up on us, but overall the food was pretty good.“

“This is my second visit. The store carries variety of sandwiches and can be made on any bread. I ordered eggs salad on a sourdough bread. The portion size is huge and very filling. It was flavorful and delicious. On my last visit I had a Turkey sandwich. It was delish as well. The service is was great and the place is clean. They have plenty of table to eat inside and outside. If you are craving for any sandwiches, stop at this location.“

The gentleman who took my order was kind and quick to assist me. Since there was going to be a wait, he offered me water, and I accepted. I ordered the Chicken Katsu bowl, which is delicious. It has all the ingredients that are mentioned. I am not one for condiments, but the dressing was pretty good. Whomever created this should definitely update and mention that to enjoy the food you'll have to enter a more than likely packed restaurant to enjoy. “So this was My first time I got the jerk chicken and it was amazing. Everything was very flavorful well seasoned just enough spice. If you don't like spice, I wouldn't suggest you getting this plate but me personally I love spice wasn't a fan of the mango sauce but definitely a 10 out of 10 and would recommend plates are under $10 with a nice size portion. The Gentleman that works there was amazing very sweet, great customer service, and he definitely made me want to come back off of action alone.“

The location is super clean.As we were walking into the building, we were greeted by staff. The staff here were extremely friendly. If you have a coupon code (i.e. Birthday Charburger w/ Cheese), you'll need to order with the cashier, because the kiosks do not take the coupons. Charburger with Cheese $6.49 Our award-winning burger topped with caramelized onions, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, pickles, mayo and cheese on a toasted bun. Tempura Green Beans $3.99 Includes side of Ranch dressing. The interior has been remodeled with a modern touch. Once you step in, there are 2 self-order kiosks, along with another self-order kiosk near the cashier at the front. The condiments are to the right of the cashier, along with the soft drink dispenser. The food was to be expected and they sure were busy, months after opening. Overall, service and food were good.“
