“Definitely one of the newer spots to add to our list of sushi restaurants for higher-end cuisine.

Stumbled upon this place from an Instagram reel and was not disappointed at all. Fish is surprisingly fresh for San Dimas(owner has their own seafood distribution) and rivals that of higher-end omakase style sushi restaurants in So Cal while maintaining a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

Definitely a hidden gem until more know of it. Will be back again.“

“Some of the best Mediterranean food in the area- which is saying a lot.

Chicken is always juicy; the rice is always flavorful; the salad has the perfect acidity level and balance of components; hummus is clearly house-made; the toum is rich and potent.

The food is great, and the entire place is usually run by one fella, so have some patience- it's not McDonalds, it won't be ready in 30 seconds.

Slow down and enjoy yourself- well worth the wait. Don't bother with food delivery, just drive down there like a normal human being.

My only gripe? The pita could be warmer. That's it- that's my only complaint.“

“The manager knows my order from memory. I haven’t had an issue with the food, the staff, or the environment thus far. I’ve been coming here for a while now. The staff is always nice and informative. Restaurant is always clean without odor. Food is always good and fresh. They’re also willing to make small modifications to the food items. Sometimes it cost extra and sometimes it doesn’t. Those sweet potato’s are 🔥. Fresh juices are always good. Only I don’t like is the sodas mainly because I don’t like craft sodas from anywhere. I also don’t drink soda.“

“I was honestly flabbergasted by this experience in the best way. My DoorDash order got mixed up with someone who had the same name, but I didn’t even know there was an issue before the owner of Dr. Grubb’s called me.

They explained everything, told me to keep the wrong order, and said they were already on their way to personally deliver the correct one. My order was small, just for one person, but they still went completely out of their way to fix it.

“We ordered the spicy hummus, garlic fries, beef shawarma, babakenush?, and cauliflower. My friend saw the baclava and had to try it. So we started with desser. The pistachio was very crispy and chewy and was my friends favorite. The walnut was sweet and chewy which was my favorite. Everything was absolutely delicious! The spicy hummus had a little kick at the beginning but as we ate we didn't taste the kick anymore. The cauliflower is lightly fried and so freaking delicious! I ate it by itself or with some hummus. My friend ate it with the babakanush and some cauliflower sauce and was in love. I tried her babakanush. I don't like eggplant but this was really delicious! Had a lovely garlic flavor that was slightly addicting. The garlic fries was just fries sprinkled with garlic powder but dipped it in the hummus and it was good. The pitas were really good too. I could've eaten more if I wasn't so full. But the beef shawarma was freaking AMAZING!!!!! We both said this was the best Mediterranean food we've ever had. I said no tomatoes to my beef shawarma which I'm glad I did. The flavor was absolutely amazing without it. Definitely 10/10 no complaints at all. And service was awesome too! “We always order Olive Garden to go. It saves us a lot of money, and we don't have to deal with restaurant wait times, tipping, or waiting for drink refills. Our orders are consistently ready on time for pickup, and they never have a problem including extra breadsticks, salad dressing, or other condiments when we ask. The food is hot, accurate, and convenient every time. For our family, takeout is the best way to enjoy Olive Garden.“

“Tried the Ninja Roll, Tuna Roll, and Salmon Roll and honestly everything was so good. The sushi rolls were huge. I’ve had a lot of sushi around Orange County, but this was probably the thickest sushi roll I’ve ever had.

The shrimp tempura was also impressive. The shrimp itself was really big and thick. I don’t think I’ve seen tempura shrimp like this anywhere else in OC.

The salad was surprisingly amazing too. Definitely don’t skip it.

We finished with macaron ice cream for dessert and it was a perfect ending.

The owner was very kind, and there were 2–3 chefs working when we visited. The shorter chef was especially friendly and made the experience even better.

For me, this is easily one of the best sushi roll places in Orange County.“

“Great Japanese izakaya in West Covina. The sashimi was very fresh and cut surprisingly thick. We also enjoyed the Wagyu dishes, especially the Wagyu Donburi and Steak Bites. The Cumin Black Snapper was unique and unlike anything I’ve had at a Japanese restaurant before. Nice atmosphere, good presentation, and a great spot for sharing dishes with friends.“

Price is about $16 per person just for the 8” sandwiches alone, which is higher than most sandwich shops offering 12” subs. You have the option to dine in but the owner is pretty suggestive about customers do takeout instead, if ordering around 3:45 PM, this is the only vibe which made the experience poor. This deli closes at 4 PM sharp!“

“We have been coming to The Habit since they opened. This one in particular under manager Manny is amazing. Today we had veggie burgers and they made them to perfection. I will say I miss the thin and sliced cucumbers from years ago. The onion rings were crispy. Lastly, their Pepsi is Wow! Please do whatever you’re doing and not change that machine. We are a coke family. However, the Pepsi here is incredible.

“This might be the first Blaze location I have been to where I am impressed. So clean!! I was welcomed by the workers when I walked in, my online order was ready and waiting as soon as I arrived, and made just the way I ordered it. I work near this location in Azusa, but live near the Alhambra location, and that location is a nightmare, always dirty, very busy, always out of toppings and NEVER have they made my online order to my specifications, so if I do attempt to go to that location I order in person to watch them make it. WHAT A DIFFERENCE the Azusa location is!! I want to commend the management here, this store is exceptional, and I will be back! Highly recommend!!“
