“Totally worth the drive to fish and see Barbara when they open for lunch.. Barbara is totally awesome. Cash only don't worry. There is ATM in the back. Large food and alcohol selection. We had no problems finding a seat on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of amazing outside seating looking at the lake. Side note my friend comes here occasionally and fishes on the straight. He took me here today and we almost caught a Sturgeon together.”

Me, my brother, and my mom would always come here at least once a week and the owner always had such a welcoming attitude whenever we came in. “My husband and I stumbled upon Baxter’s while looking for somewhere to eat for my birthday. It ended up being the best meal we’ve ever had! We had a view of the water, had amazing filet mignon tacos (they were so good, we ordered another round to go), and our entrees were to die for! My partner got the Beef Wellington and it was melt in your mouth! I got the scallops and they were positively delightful! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and not only was he kind, but you could see the pride he had for his restaurant. We loved it so much that we pretty much immediately decided were going there for our anniversary next month. I cannot recommend them enough.”

“Went here a couple of times, coffee shop is located inside a beautiful historic building. I got a matcha latte and it was overly sweet for my taste and the pastries were definitely not made same-day, but it's one of the only coffee shops in the area — would still suggest a visit for the vibes, and maybe try their specialty coffee drinks!! Located super close to Touro University, good for studying or getting work done.”

“Circling back even though I’ve reviewed before, but just had the pork banh mi, banh mi thit nuong. This might be one of the best banh mi I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy french roll, and the pork was tender and juicy with a nice sauce to complement. Very reasonable pricing too, although I normally get pho here I will certainly get a banh mi again!”

“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋”

“I’m a sandwich (and Italian hoagie) aficionado, constantly seeking out the best. I actually have an entire category of sandwich shops and deli’s saved on my phone. I will drive (or more likely ride my motorcycle 2+ hours just to try a new place.

Take it from me: Lucia’s is a rare gem. Five stars. Terrific bread, thinly sliced meats and cheese, fresh produce, homemade spread: they had it all.

And LOTS of it. I knew as soon as I picked up the bag: huge, loaded sandwich. I couldn’t get my mouth wide enough to get the whole thing at once. Then, I could only eat half. I brought the other half home and my wife could only eat half of that half. I enjoyed the rest the next day.

I should’ve taken a picture but was too busy devouring the thing. I will definitely be back, and I will remember to take a picture then. It’s as good an excuse as any for a return visit. See you there.”

“With prices going up, this is still a local staple at 6 something a sandwich. He packs my Bacon Bahn Mi with a good amount of meat! No cutting corners here :)

When I used to work in the area, I'd get their lunch plates they have wrapped up in the open fridge. Viet BBQ Chicken, Fried Egg Roll, and rice noodles are my go-to.

They also serve noodle soup, which a friend of mine way back said tasted like her mom's, very good; Chicken Pho.

Parking: If lot is filled there's always plenty of street parking”

“Seems to be primarily a pick up/take out place but I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a table if you’ve got the time! The interior is beautifully decorated with a fountain that adds a delightful ambiance. Obviously, the food was fantastic, and the servers are also really attentive and kind. “Absolutely AMAZING hole in the wall ran by a sweet family. Stumbled upon this gem on our drive home and it did not disappoint. Everything was incredibly flavorful! We had the Phơ Tái, Kang Panang (red curry), Fried rice and Crispy Egg rolls. It was so good we forgot to feed the phone before digging in. Would definitely make the drive back.”

“I don’t rate places often, but when I do, it’s because I seriously love them. This place has become one of my favorite places in the region after just one visit!! Perfectly balanced and satisfying flavors and unreal quality of the dishes. Service was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was great as well. “Great oolong tea and a variety of other teas and snacks. The place attracts a lot of students and offers counter service with a beeper tile for order pickups. The vibe is bright with track lighting, plenty of seating, and one Instagram-worthy spot. Downsides: they can be short-staffed, which limits the menu. Great spot for boba, smoothies and snacks!”

“Excelente servicio y por supuesto la comida es verdaderamente deliciosa viajamos por una hr de San Francisco a Vallejo pero valió la pena el marisco es muy fresco y riquísimo todooooo!! los platillos mexicanos como el Molcajete es muy rico. Al principio ellos ponen chips crujientes frescos y salsa en tu mesa y tienen una barra de diferentes salsas las cuales puedes disfrutar con tus chips, el ambiente te hace sentir como en casa ellos son muy amables y al final te llevan unos ricos churros con crema de cortesía. Volveríamos una y muchas veces más a este lugar.”
