“I lived in the area on and off for over 25 years. This is the first time ever coming here. I was walking in blind, I knew nobody here and knew nothing about this place. Driven past hundreds of times but never stop. First impression was awesome. Great environment and atmosphere with the tavern. Everyone was cool and fun and very welcoming of me being there. Sammy the bartender was awesome. Very attentive to my drinks and everyone’s else’s drinks , knowledgeable on what he’s serving, and just a friendly attitude towards everyone there. Awesome local spot to get some great beers and wines. They have darts, a shuffle board table, and a digital jukebox to play your favorite tunes. I would definitely recommend the Beachcomber Tavern to anyone that is local, traveling through or the vacation rental people. I will definitely be back myself.“

All of the bartenders are amazing, the owners and staff are friendly and fun, and they work hard to make this an all inclusive, comfortable spot for a quick drink after work or really get your party on with live music on the weekends. They have taco and trivia on Tuesdays, game nights on Wednesday, Tiki drink Thursdays and Monday is potluck and karaoke. There's always something happening at The Garage Bar!“

They used to allow customers to purchase drinks and drink them at the bar, which brought lots of traffic to the area but unfortunately they do not allow that option no more.Susan made our visit to whole foods worth our time. A blue-collar, workin’ man’s bar, Joe owned the place, Yvonne ran it .. bartenders were cool, drinks tasty and cheap, locals tight and friendly .. and this place just immediately felt like ‘Home.’ Over the years, we ate, drank, smoked, joked, sang and screwed our way thru some damn good times!! In 3 1/2 decades, regulars who became dear friends have come, gone .. many passing away. “When making reservations, be informed that if you decide to eat inside it is in the upstairs bar area. The music is loud and more for the younger patrons. That aside, the food was great!! Completely made up for the loud atmosphere. Next time it will be on the patio or wait downstairs for a table.“

“We went there yesterday to celebrate the 85th birthday of my sister. We were a party of 8, which included her 3 sons. We each enjoyed our specific orders, service was prompt and everyone we dealt with was attentive. What really stood out, though was the attentive and exceptional service we got from our waitress, Jennifer. She was always cheerful, moved fast, and what impressed me the most was how she constantly checked if we needed anything, and she was there with refills for our drinks even before we can ask for one! Wow, I was super impressed! I had never seen a waitress that awesome in any of the restaurants I’ve eaten, here in the US or even abroad! Way to go, Jennifer! I hope your employers know how lucky they are to have you!“

“Went for lunch and surprisingly discovered it was happy hour. Wife had the turkey club, (not happy hour -($17.99). I had the truffle pizza ($9.99), a 12 ounce beer ($3.49). $9.99- cheese curds. Wife ordered soda at $4.39. Waitress was Marylin, who was attentive, friendly and made excellent food recommendations. Food was delivered timely and was hot. My pizza and cheese curds were flavorful and delicious. Curds were served with a sweet and sour sauce plus a ranch kinda dressing, both tangy & delicious. When our waitress went on her lunch break, Destini took over and was equally attentive. Both provided great service. Total for lunch before tip was $46.00. Fun & lively atmosphere. Would recommend for good food and great service. Wife said its her new favorite restaurant.“

“We had the chicken quesadilla Mole estilo Guanajuato, Tamarindo agua fresca and Jamaica agua fresca a michelada and churro ice cream for dessert. The mole sauce tasted a bit bitter, the aguas frescas were refreshing with just the right amount of sugar, the michelada was on pointe! the churro was served hot ? with a cinammon coating and glazed ice cream. The server was super friendly and attentive. No waiting which was awesome because we were hungry. The food came within 15 minutes.

Parking: Depends what time you are there you might get lucky with great parking spot.
