But I am so tired of going to my hometown Starbucks (Channel Islands) and it either being closed all day, closes early or only can get drinks from the drive thru. Ever since the manager has changed at the store it is almost impossible to purchase a coffee. Your stocks are done and now I can't even get a coffee from your business...so disappointed“

“I had a another great experience at Immigrant Son! Cortni was incredibly informative and engaging--she really listened to what I wanted and offered some great suggestions. I mentioned I was looking for something keto-friendly and protein-packed, and she recommended a side of chicken and a side of avocado. Simple, healthy, and surprisingly delicious! To top it off, I treated myself to their strawberry sourdough scone--absolutely amazing, especially paired with a good cup of coffee! Ronan, the manager, was exceptional as well. The positive energy in this place is always contagious--it's the kind of vibe that makes you want to come back. Great people, great food, great atmosphere!“

“VEGAN SUSHI! The BEST vegan sushi I have ever had in my life. You've gotta try the eel roll and the volcano roll. I don't know how they do it, but it's spot on to real sushi. The menu is 100% vegan, expansive, and offers everything from all-day breakfast to savory lunch and dinner options. Every item we tried (and we tried a LOT) was perfect. Tasted just like non-vegan food. Also their fries were bomb!

The meat was succulent, the chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice was moist and every grain was separated to taste. The ambience candlelight like, but intimate. You must try this restaurant, if you haven’t to this point. It is oceanic covert treasure and I WILL return!“

“Ordered the TNT Bahn Mi , Lemongrass Beef Bahn Mi. , Fish vermicelli and 2 Ube Milk Tea. They ran out of brown sugar boba, so we ordered crystal boba instead. All of it was very good. We ate there and there wasn't enough space to sit until a couple left. The shop is pretty small, but I understand that it is a take-a-way restaurant. They seemed very busy based on the rushing around and a couple people waiting for their orders. We would definitely go back. So much better than "fast food".“

Edenic nails it with their atmosphere, prices, and most importantly to me their customer service. Oh and ofcourse can't forget how amazing their smoothies are. Having tried every smoothie on the menu, I can definitely say that if you like all natural and healthy ingredients put into your body, without lacking flavor, then edenic is a must! And this is coming from someone who has tried every smoothie place under the sun. I knew edenic had something special when I was able to get my sugar obsessed , never try anything healthy or new teenage son addicted to their smoothies. Also would love to note that their chicken pesto panini sandwich is by far one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.“

“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? Or if they carry on the excellence, always model from it being an early military insulation moons and moons ago! But it works! You place your order before you're even seated and pay right away. Then you have many opportunities for seating. You can go outside and observe the plans and helicopters up close and personal on the top deck. Or there are several covered see through patios. Each is well heated and ventilated. Or you can snuggle inside in a booth or at a table with friends. You will find plenty of staff who check in on you, and are constantly on the move, providing exceptional, high quality customer service. It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. “Jason from Ruffhouse was fantastic! He catered our wedding in Ventura on 9/21 for about 97 people, and he was incredibly prompt with communication, very easygoing and professional. The food was SO GOOD - the venue we had chosen didn't have a kitchen available, so they brought in all the food freshly prepared and kept it hot. Our guests were raving about it - they especially loved the brisket. My husband is from Texas and I'm from California, so it was extra fun given it's CA-TX bbq. We loved it and highly recommend, thank you, Jason and team!“

I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. On the other hand, the Power Up smoothie was a bit underwhelming, lacking the bold taste I was expecting (I added coffee to it). That said, the overall experience was great, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff - Kai especially- who clearly care about what they do. The atmosphere was wonderful sitting on a warm day in the patio. The server was very attentive to our needs.

This is a place dedicated to SLOW FOOD. Allow at least 1 hour for lunch, at least 1.5 hours if you are having a dessert.

Food was extremely well prepared and you can taste the difference in quality and careful preparation. BTW, the crab cakes are the more spiced variety.

The owner and staff are very friendly and don't mind to give samples to help choose your gelato without the schoff I feel at fro yo places when asking for a sample. I always buy though, people that take advantage of samples and don't buy I can understand would bug over time. This place is great and its set up for community, conversation, dates, games they have as well for longer visits, which are encouraged.“
