“Although known for their delicious pizzas. Their salads are Delish!!! Especially the Brussels, and Cesar. The fried artichoke appetizer is a treat! The Bolognese is exceptionally yummy! End with the Carmel Panacotta, you won't be sorry!“

“Casual but nice. Service and staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Recommended wine based on my preferences.Food was very good but I think they put cream in the carbonara… and a poached egg on top. I’ve seen this at other LA restaurants- not sure why it’s a thing.Good portion sizes.“

“I've been coming here to Bodevi many times this past year. I was so stoked when I found out they serve wine AND espresso. I initially was drawn to their WINE FLIGHTS and VEGAN CHARCUTERIE. But lately maybe because of the cold weather I've been craving their LOX & CREAM CHEESE TOAST and BLUEBERRY GINGER LATTE. They pay really great attention to detail because my lox toast is perfectly spread all the way to the edges. The salmon perfectly scrunched for texture (not just laid out flat) and topped with sliced red onions. Then drizzled with oil I think and perfectly garnished with dill and capers...yumm!! Love the orange slices as well! The blueberry ginger latte is so unique and pretty! It has a richness to it like mocha but perfectly balanced. I get mine with oat milk. And I love seeing actual blueberries on it to give it a nice finishing touch. Get this before they switch out their seasonal menu! Once the weather warms up I may go back to trying their wine flights again. I recommend THE DAVID BOWIE so you can have the assortment of white, rose, and red if you're trying their wines for the first time. Other items I definitely recommend are the BURRATA PISTACHIO SANDWICH (I get mine minus the prosciutto to make it vegetarian) , the VEGAN DELI SANDWICH, and the DEVILED EGGS. You can't go wrong with those. They're delicious! They even have an assortment of board games, chess, and checkers that you can play in the private room in the back. So chic and charming for big parties! Service is wonderful! My lattes always come out perfect here made by Caleb and Melissa! And like I said they pay attention to detail. There's also a self serve water station by the bar. Parking is FREE in the back parking lot. Front parking you have to pay for with coins not credit cards. Such an absolute GEM in San Fernando!“

“Wow wow wow! This place is unreal. Probably the most gourmet brunch in the valley you can get. Gasolina is a Spanish inspired brunch restaurant in the valley. I ordered the skillet breakfast which makes me think of shakshuka, a Mediterranean egg dish cooked in tomatoes and onions. This is their take on that dish, but amplified with meat and a different inspiration of flavors. It doesn't look like it will fill you up but trust me, you will be very satisfied. My girlfriend ordered the burger and we split the patatas bravas. Both very good and cooked to perfection. The wait staff was also very friendly and gave us good recommendations! Highly recommend this place for a former brunch in the valley.“

“The O'Cado Burger was a 10/10. The vegan crabcakes had good presentation but it’s missing some flavor. The peach ice tea was unsweetened and would’ve been better with sweetness. The staff & hospitality is top notch.Clean, nice vibe and good music.“A” rating for food inspection.“

“Most amazing sea bass I have ever tasted. It was perfectly cooked. The seafood tower was very fresh. Lobster Macaroni excellent. And for desert, the cheesecake was huge. Sooooo good!!! The dress code is super casual. Some of the guests had flip flops and sandals on. Not like the other steak houses where you have a dress code. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Party of four! Food was delish! Service was excellent! The only down side for me, is that the atmosphere is more bar like than nice Italian restaurant. It's small with tables very close together, no booths, no table cloths (even for Valentines Day). This seating makes for more noise and less privacy. TVs with sports/news. They do have a nice sized outdoor patio with heaters, but they were not seating there when we went on Valentines Day evening (it was cold that night) It was very busy! Most dishes ran around $21- $25 range. Didn't have wine. I enjoyed the yummy bread, food and service, so we'll be back!!“

“I've been a big fan of their pizza for years, but was surprised to receive a $25 birthday gift from them. I just finished the lasagna and was amazed! Super meaty and cheezy, looking forward to come back to check out more of the offerings.“
“Attended a private Sherman Oaks/Encino Chamber of Commerce mixer. It was a good experience. There was a unique selection of wines. I was pleased to find Chenin Blanc by the glass—all adequately priced.Light bites were served. I enjoyed the sampling of offerings—definitely meticulously curated for quality and flavor.Customer service and decor were both consistent with their branding and neighborhood values/expectations. Parking at 6pm was free on metered section of Ventura boulevard.Normally, there is a weekday happy hour. The business owner/manager shared there is a book club on Sundays and a wine class. It’s an intimate yet sophisticated environment. Very close to the Galleria.I will return to check out the book clubz Each patron brings their own books and reads independently for an hour; then, each patron sparks up a conversation and shared with others. I can imagine the stimulating conversations that take place.“

“Everything about Newhall Press Room was just about up to my expectations for it, based on its location, philosophy (per web sites descriptions), and reviews from other trusted Yelpers. So, all in all, this was a good experience for a Sunday brunch on a popular holiday. The menu was good enough for a vegetarian. The fact that you can get breakfast/lunch/dinner at any time on Sundays was a nice extra. The California Benedict appealed to me and I was able to have the bacon kept out. Our server, Jennifer, was very friendly, efficient, and professional. We got a perfect table for me, right next to the large windows (clean) on Main Street and below the large screen tv. We lucked out and got a parking space right in front -- yay, that's rare. The food was good, the portions were modest but enough so we could take some home. Jennifer and the kitchen gifted us with two small delicious sugared cinnamon muffins -- wasn't that nice? Main Street is festive now on weekends with all the shops and gastropubs that have opened and are seemingly thriving through all the challenges they face these days and the fact that Old Town Newhall is a bit off the beaten path. That lends itself to feeling like we had an outing even though it was a relatively casual midday meal. The beer menu is good and I was able to get Dark Star Oatmeal stout, as I do like an occasional 4oz of beer (it came in a frosty 16 oz glass), and it always has to be the darkest beer available. I don't like any other kind and am not a drinker. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other gastropubs in LA county, so, bottom line, this is a good place to try. Now, one thing I have to point out is the unexpected missing character, for lack of a better term, that the interior has and thus the rather bland atmosphere inside. This, despite a great tin ceiling (see pictures), the walls of bottles, and the black wood tables and chairs, all upscale touches. Somehow the walls look empty even with a couple of unremarkable art pieces. For example, NPR has apparently won some prestigious and valued awards, but they are placed on a relatively inconspicuous wall, lost on the stretch of whiteness of that spot and thus almost forgotten or trivialized. I meant to take a closeup of them and forgot -- proving my point. The entire indoor space needs something extra to add a bit of excitement. Also, my Benedict eggs were almost cold when they came. This is probably because after they were cooked, cold avocado and tomato were place on them and chilled them down. However, that was almost made up for by being on biscuits -- love that idea -- even though these were a bit dry and not likely made same day. There is a good size patio for outdoor dining and a good wine and spirits menu. They definitely honored St. Patrick's Day. I wish I could be more superlative; it wouldn't take much to notch it up to great. I want to try it again soon.“

“Patrons drive from all over the city to relish the warm welcome and fine cuisine at Panzanella. It vibes like a friendly neighborhood eatery, with many locals hopping on bar stools, schmoozing with the bartender as they gobble up pasta. Pasta is delicious here; you can't go wrong with any delicately fashioned ravioli or lasagna. The bread with tapenade is the best deal in town; you can easily pay up to $12 for what you pay about $3 here a couple. Look for specials, like soups and fish, as highlights.“

“We had a great location in the restaurant. In the very back patio. It was pouring but with 2 heaters it was very cosy. 1 of our servers was great, the other seemed to hate her job. Food was average plus, nothing special, but the ambiance made up for it“

“I'm almost hesitant to rave about Mora Italiano, which has become my favorite Italian restaurant, because I'm scared they'll get too popular and I won't be able to get a table. Yeah, THAT'S how wonderful they are. Great authentic Italian food, and an incredibly charming staff. Charming interior, but I prefer to dine on the outdoor patio. After only two visits, I've grown quite fond of our server, Lucas, and his father, Fernando, who just happens to be the Sommelier. Very personable and lighthearted, while remaining professional and respectful. Their suggestions from food to wine never disappoint. My friend and I spent a few hours there last night. I will be spending some very special occasions at Mora from now on. The seabass with bucatini is delicious! Just go!“

“We had our company Holiday party here and I was blown away by everything. They have an amazing space that accommodated our large group, along with a DJ, a dance floor and all the Fun games. The staff was so accommodating and there was always fresh food being put in front of us. They didn't do trays of sweet potato fries and sliders that ultimately got cold and soggy, they actually passed multiple baskets of fresh everything so everything was always hot, crispy and delicious. I spent some time talking to the owners and it turns out they source their food locally and frequently have limited editions of craft beer on tap. This place was a huge hit for our party and I will definitely be going back for burgers and beers. They were both exceptional and I'm always on the hunt for local spots!“

“What a great little find in a strip mall undergoing some demo. Loved my NOLA Benedict. The yogurt parfeit was surprisingly great. The Italian coffee was excellent (not diner like) and son even agreed to get a haircut at barber next door. Perfect morning. Thx!“

“Always great food and excellent service Whenever we eat at Lure Fish House in Porter Ranch, we can count on having a great meal. But we also can expect excellent service. Our recent visit was a little more extraordinary because of our server, Mar. Since we had been there before, but it had been a while, Mar asked if we knew what we wanted or if we wanted to hear the menu explained. We chose the latter. She also asked if we had allergies, which we did not. Not many restaurants ask that, which can be important because not all ingredients are listed and some people forget to mention it. We ordered our usual cup of Clam Chowder and asked about the Dungeness Crab Cocktail. Mar told us what we wanted to hear and ordered it. We shared both appetizers and enjoyed them both. For our entrées, my wife stepped out of her comfort zone and did not order her usual but rather the White Sea Bass in Almondine-style, which is crusted with breadcrumbs, parmesan and almonds. I went with my semi-usual of the Crispy Fish, Shrimp & Chips Combo, but with Pineapple Coleslaw, on the suggestion of Mar during the explanation of the menu. When the meals arrived, my wife said the Sea Bass was good, but she probably would not get it that way again. Mar checked in on us and my wife repeated what she had told me. Mar then said, "I have just the sauce to make it better." She returned with the sauce that comes with the Sally's Sand Dabs, which is a lemon caper sauce. My wife said it changed the entire meal and was amazing, which she thanked Mar for when she again checked in on us. For me, the Pineapple Cole Slaw matched perfectly with the fish and shrimp. I never would have thought of that. Mar truly knows the menu and what pairs well and complements each dish. I believe we will be visiting more often, asking for Mar on each visit and stepping out of our comfort zones more often, with Mar's guidance. Thank you.“
