“It’s a gem of a place! With lots of European choices of food, just super generous variety. ALWAYS fresh, always good service. Smoked fish delicacies, kielbasa choices, fresh deli every day, different salads, frozen section is also pretty good. Just you name it, they have it. European chocolate candy, Marshmallows, Cakes, gift boxes, tvorog, kefir, European sour cream and plenty of other products and produce. I love this store! I highly recommend it to anyone who is loooking for something special and delicious. You’ll find it here, no doubt.”

“The food here is so good. We got cabbage, green beans, fried pork buns, chicken and corn potstickers, chicken and shrimp potstickers, orange chicken Xiao long bao, beef chow mien, egg custard buns, and jasmine tea. I would recommend all of the above but I didn't like their veggie Xiao long bao. The service was excellent and we sat at the cutest table under the pagoda.”

“During lunch break, stopped at Harbor Freights. After finishing my business I was hungry for some chow. Looked around, and although plenty eats here, I decided on Baba Kabob shop. Small shop, great for food to go, or you must dine outside. No indoor dining. I also notice that this is a catering business. I decided on the Baba Kabob special..chicken, Kabob meat, French fries and the vegetable fixins...tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. Had I known the French fries were inside, I would have asked for them on the side, or none at all. Do not like soggy fries...
The portion was huge, although it seemed light on the meat, in my opinion. Still good, and too much food for one person..at less than half, and gave rest to a coworker.
I would pick up food again..I ordered a diet coke bottle, but they forgot to give to me, and when I remembered, I was back at work..bummer city.”

“Looking for a replacement Chinese Restaurant, since my favorite closed down. Ran out of options in Poway. So decided to give 369 a try. They had a few Chinese options, so tried the Broccoli Beef lunch special. I was pleasantly surprise, very good flavor and large portions. The regular portion would feed two. They also sell Beef Chow Fun. I normally have to get this at a sit down place. Theirs is pretty good. One day I will try the Ramen.”

“I have been to this coffee shop several times now since new ownership and have tried a different coffee every time and to my surprise it’s always good. I have been drinking coffee religiously for over a decade and have become extremely picky about my coffee. So it’s nice to find a place that has the convenience of a drive thru with great quality coffee.”

“This place holds a special place in my heart. I grew up in Poway, and back then, this was the cheapest way to fill your stomach. To my surprise, it still is!!

I love the California burrito here, and although it’s different from what one would normally classify as a “California burrito,” it remains one of my favorite renditions of the dish. Back when I was living out of state, even if I only had one night to visit SD, I’d spend my dinner here every single time without fail.”

“Amazing mom and pop shop! Food it’s amazing and fresh to order! We walked in for a pizza, breadsticks, and buffalo wings. We had our order within 15 minutes, and the food was delicious. They also check up to see if we needed anything. We went on a really warm day, but their shop felt very cool. Definitely our go to pizza place!”

“Was taken here recently and the place was amazing. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great, all on top of probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, couldn't recommend the Baja Chicken more.

Vegetarian options: There's one item that does come with cheese but you can ask it to be removed, and while I didn't order it, the person I went with sung high praises of Vegi Supreme they got and I see why. It's not your regular bare-bones there to be there option, but as a guy who loves his chicken and beef I can say that the Vegi Supreme looks amazing.”

“Great service here! A group of us was in for dinner on a week night to celebrate a birthday. The waiter heard and brought out a slice of cake for us! It is not something they usually do, especially Chinese restaurants. The staff was really nice and friendly. Made all the difference between a good dining experience and a great one.

We ordered a few dishes for dinner and had it family style. We like all the dishes we ordered. They were able to make modifications to the dishes. For example we asked for chicken chow fun instead of the usual beef chow fun. No problem!
There are a lot of vegetarian options. It was one of the reasons why we picked this restaurant. One person in our party was a vegetarian, another was gluten free, another doesn't eat beef... there was something for everyone!”

“A must visit. True to the roots of the small brewery experience in the San Diego area. Visiting Lightning feels like visiting a bit of brewing history.

There is an indoor and outdoor seating area to enjoy. The beer on tap is great! Really unique brewery styles compared to most breweries. Nice to be able to order a few types of beer I have never seen elsewhere. Of course, they have the tried and true Thunderweizen, also a must have when you visit. It really is the definition of a Souther California take on a Hefeweizen style. Fits perfectly with the great weather.

There is plenty of parking around the building, a few places large enough to bring a sizable group of people after work for a birthday. They also have some snacks that you can grab while you are here.

The staff was attentive and professional, which is always appreciated. You can also get a glimpse into the production when you visit as well, since it's a big open warehouse.”

“Hit up the New Nutmeg on Danielson Street in Poway. I heard their Scripps location closed because the landlord raised the rent so high it was unaffordable for them to stay there. We were a large group so we were able to order a bunch of menu items. There was a line but its a very popular place so we were not surprised. We started with some espresso drinks, and agua frescas. We had the Hearty Bowl, Avocado Toast, and Amazing Burrito. Some in our group had the new Grandpa's Breakfast Bun with the egg and spam, and the Porky. They are very flexible with special orders including one in our group who is gluten sensitive. We finished, sharing their in-house baked pastries (they have gluten-free pastries); the warmed espresso scones and cinnamon buns (don't ever leave without having the "buns"). I work in the area so Nutmeg is now my go-to for breakfast before work, or lunch. Its also located nearby Costco and Home Depot, convenient for a weekend meal before or after my weekly Costco runs.”

I called them & Chris couldn’t have been nicer, they replaced my lasagna as I asked with spaghetti & meatballs & redelivered, no additional charges. Spaghetti was tasty! I couldn't believe it! They reassured me that everything was okay and that they would finish cleaning up the mess. “When is Rome, have a Guiness at the Irish Pub. If you're lucky, you'll get a clover in your drink. This is a quaint little Pub. They often have live music. The staff are chill and attentive. I haven't had the food there, yet, so I can't opine on their grub. However, drinks are well made. There's a strong local presence, too, which is cool.”

“The Not-so-Tots are great. Order them with no liquid cheese, only shredded cheese (unless you like liquid imitation cheese). The chili cheese dogs are pretty good too. The hamburgers, are pretty awful. Every time I have ordered one, the meat has been stale. That kind of almost rancid fat taste. I gave it 4 stars overall, because tater tot nachos? Doesn't get much better than that. Atmosphere is lacking, the tables are crowded together, and they're always busy, so service is so-so.”

“My first time back since I heard it’s under new ownership/management.

I ended up getting the Special BBQ Combo #1 and Seafood Combo #3. The BBQ plate came with chicken, pork and beef with a side of rice and Mac salad. The seafood combo came w fried fish and shrimp. I also got 3 spam musubis.

I have to say, the food blew me away. The portions are generous. The meats were flavorful and has a char without being burnt. The seafood combo was crispy. The spam musubis were proportional! Most places give too much rice to spam but here it’s perfect enough take away from the saltiness.

IPO has plenty of parking and lots of dining spaces to eat inside. I wanted to phone in my order but saw no phone number. When I asked, they said check IG.

They have drinks that I’ll have to try next time.”

“This place is excellent! I crave it often. Their antipasto salad is fantastic. I lived in New Jersey for 9 years, so my standards for pizza are unreasonably high. But what Filippis may lack in crust quality and sauce, they make up for with tons of cheese, which works just fine for me. This is good pizza... maybe the best in San Diego.”

Parking: There's a relatively small parking lot adjacent to the building, but I've never seen it full as I think most people either drive-through or walk up to El Armando's. There's also a short side street that can be parked along.

Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there's a ramp that allows for access to the walk-up order window.
There's no inside dining, just the drive-through and a couple outside tables.”
