This is a Hidden Gem+ first time here and already loving it.
Very friendly staff, very very clean, and the atmosphere makes you feel like I'm in a very expensive place.

The food was awesome, the coco shrimp was really good, the mixed fried rice was AWESOME, the beef noodles is good while it's hot. The spicy dumplings... Yeah that was very spicy but good.

Over all, yes I recommend this spot to anyone.”

“It’s a gem of a place! With lots of European choices of food, just super generous variety. ALWAYS fresh, always good service. Smoked fish delicacies, kielbasa choices, fresh deli every day, different salads, frozen section is also pretty good. Just you name it, they have it. European chocolate candy, Marshmallows, Cakes, gift boxes, tvorog, kefir, European sour cream and plenty of other products and produce. I love this store! I highly recommend it to anyone who is loooking for something special and delicious. You’ll find it here, no doubt.”

“Excellent service and a wonderful variety of sauces and salsa to choose from which made the experience even more fun and flavorful. I absolutely loved their chicken enchiladas, they were rich, cheesy and perfectly seasoned. The burrito was packed with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Everything tasted so authentic and the warm and friendly service made the meal even better. I will definitely be coming back.”

“Went for the first time Nov 11. Wait time wasn't long at all, staff was friendly, filled at about half capacity. TVs played sports and there was nice music creating a relaxing atmosphere. Also, Tuesdays happen to be all day happy hour.
The menu consisted of rolls we'd never heard of before. You could ask for a menu of traditional rolls but for our first time we went with their specialty rolls off the happy hour menu. Started with shishito peppers as appetizers and they were medium spicy and the dipping sauce was tasty. Our rolls were the TJ roll, lightning roll, and the James Bomb roll, all of the happy hour menu. They were excellent! My favorite was the James Bomb. SO rich and delicious! Each was very flavorful on their own way, and the rolls were larger than expected. We should have stopped early and taken some home, but nah! They were too good. Definitely on our list for regular sushi cravings and especially on Tuesdays!”

“First time here. I was not really hungry, but did want to try the food. Ordered the beef tacos, and wanted a diet coke..they were out of diet coke, so I settled for bottled water. The server offered me chips, and i said sure. They were rightfully of the fryer so they were crispy and hot.The special dip for chips was good also. I enjoyed my beef tacos. Plenty meat inside. They have red sauce and green sauce. In addition they have a hotter sauce on the counter.
I will need to come back when I am hungry for a carne Asada burrito.”

“Hands down, the best burgers. My go to is the Double- Double animal style (mustard grilled into the meat, grilled onion, extra sauce, extra pickles). You can get it on any of their burgers. To the Snyders (the owners of In-N-Out), PLEASE put stores in Florida!! We deserve this goodness too. 🥰”

They cooked their foods right. The chick has golden crispy skin and tasty meat. Their hamburger patty was very large and comes with plenty of fresh lettuce and tomato slices.”

“Looking for a replacement Chinese Restaurant, since my favorite closed down. Ran out of options in Poway. So decided to give 369 a try. They had a few Chinese options, so tried the Broccoli Beef lunch special. I was pleasantly surprise, very good flavor and large portions. The regular portion would feed two. They also sell Beef Chow Fun. I normally have to get this at a sit down place. Theirs is pretty good. One day I will try the Ramen.”

“I have been to this coffee shop several times now since new ownership and have tried a different coffee every time and to my surprise it’s always good. I have been drinking coffee religiously for over a decade and have become extremely picky about my coffee. So it’s nice to find a place that has the convenience of a drive thru with great quality coffee.”

“This place is always good , no matter what you get. It's a favorite go to of a friend of mines.

Their staff is friendly their food is authentic, and their chiles quiles and Mexican egg benedicts are phenomenal.

Their margaritas are the right proportions and their mimosas are generous.

“A must visit. True to the roots of the small brewery experience in the San Diego area. Visiting Lightning feels like visiting a bit of brewing history.

There is an indoor and outdoor seating area to enjoy. The beer on tap is great! Really unique brewery styles compared to most breweries. Nice to be able to order a few types of beer I have never seen elsewhere. Of course, they have the tried and true Thunderweizen, also a must have when you visit. It really is the definition of a Souther California take on a Hefeweizen style. Fits perfectly with the great weather.

There is plenty of parking around the building, a few places large enough to bring a sizable group of people after work for a birthday. They also have some snacks that you can grab while you are here.

The staff was attentive and professional, which is always appreciated. You can also get a glimpse into the production when you visit as well, since it's a big open warehouse.”

“Hit up the New Nutmeg on Danielson Street in Poway. I heard their Scripps location closed because the landlord raised the rent so high it was unaffordable for them to stay there. We were a large group so we were able to order a bunch of menu items. There was a line but its a very popular place so we were not surprised. We started with some espresso drinks, and agua frescas. We had the Hearty Bowl, Avocado Toast, and Amazing Burrito. Some in our group had the new Grandpa's Breakfast Bun with the egg and spam, and the Porky. They are very flexible with special orders including one in our group who is gluten sensitive. We finished, sharing their in-house baked pastries (they have gluten-free pastries); the warmed espresso scones and cinnamon buns (don't ever leave without having the "buns"). I work in the area so Nutmeg is now my go-to for breakfast before work, or lunch. Its also located nearby Costco and Home Depot, convenient for a weekend meal before or after my weekly Costco runs.”

“They have great sandwiches but I do love their green salad with the spicy low cal ranch dressing with a scoop of tuna fish salad. That's what I usually order when we go to a Board and Brew.

We also ordered a Roast Beef Spicy sandwich and it was delicious too. Love that it came with au jus on the side though it was cold.

This chain location was airy and open with a nice outdoor patio area. The service was good too.”

“Yesterday wasn't our first time here and there is a reason why - the food is simply great! My son loves their meatball pho which comes with a healthy amount of noodles, meatballs and is delicious. My daughter loves their fried tofu in the appetizer section. Special mention to their grilled pork and fried rice as well, the fried rice was street style and yummy. The ambience is casual and let your hair down. Great for dine in and take out.”

“I enjoyed my first visit to this small, no frills, strip mall Chinese restaurant! Upon being seated I was handed a small, multi-page paper menu containing many familiar dishes. I was intrigued by what they call “Snow Hill Chicken” so I ordered it in a Lunch Special. It was delicious, that I can tell you! Made with tender diced chicken in a dark cashew nut sauce with vinegar, wine and soy sauce plus a dash of white pepper. The menu labeled it as “spicy” but it wasn’t really that spicy. It did have a nice tang with a great flavor and perfect wok hei. I may try this again next time in beef form. The Lunch Special included soup, wonton chips, an egg roll and rice. It’s really a great value and a generous amount of food for only about $11. Very affordable for a nice sit-down meal in California these days. The service was rather surly and matter of fact but that’s usually what I expect from a family run Chinese establishment. I look forward to visiting again soon.”

The staff is always so friendly, the drinks are consistently top-notch, and they do their best to serve the drinks quickly.
Parking can be tricky right by the shop, but the large parking lot makes up for it, so you'll always find a spot.
The breakfast sandwiches are delicious too.
The restroom is clean, the tables are wiped down, and the napkins and utensils are always replenished. It's the little things that make a place great!”

“Jay was so nice and warm when I ordered my food today and he answered my questions clearly with a smile. Today is Sept 13, 2024 I went there around 6pm. The other staff with him needs to smile more like him. It brings joy to us customers but all in all they tried their best to be nice.

Recieved exceptional service from our waiter, Kevin despite the resturaunt being pretty busy. Impressive selection of beers and plenty of tv's, a pool table, and a shuffle board make it difficult to be bored. I will be back!”

Come down and have some chow. Oh yes, the salsa bar is amazing...”

“The Not-so-Tots are great. Order them with no liquid cheese, only shredded cheese (unless you like liquid imitation cheese). The chili cheese dogs are pretty good too. The hamburgers, are pretty awful. Every time I have ordered one, the meat has been stale. That kind of almost rancid fat taste. I gave it 4 stars overall, because tater tot nachos? Doesn't get much better than that. Atmosphere is lacking, the tables are crowded together, and they're always busy, so service is so-so.”

For some reason, my Jamba app wasn't being read by the computer, but they honored the coupon that I was trying to use anyway. I couldn't believe it! They reassured me that everything was okay and that they would finish cleaning up the mess. “My partner and I stopped in for a change-up in our usual picks. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant setting is quaint and familiar feeling. The service was fantastic with both the chef and server being very nice and considerate. The menu is full of different options to try. We ordered the spring rolls and two tofu dishes. All of it was good and freshly cooked. Remember to give the food a minute to cool down before you dive in. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is from not being wowed, but it's not a bad thing. It's a staple food spot with standard food taste and quality. You won't be upset stopping by, but you maybe wouldn't go out of your way ro try it again if you weren't in the area.”
