I give the atmosphere a 3 star because there are a lot of homeless in this shopping center and it just looks very old.“

“I’ve gotten rolled tacos here for about 18 years and they’re still amazing. Their yellow pepper salsa is so good I could drink it! Today I needed to pick up food for a (severely) gluten free friend and they were super helpful.

Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of gluten free items but they helped me pick a safe one and obviously cared about my friend’s health.“

“Great tacos and burritos. Burrito has some beans in it and tacos are great with their fresh corn tortillas. Churros are also good. A little cakey (not custardy) but still delightful.

The issue with this place is that it took forever to get food. From ordering to receiving our food, it took 55 minutes.

With that said, all the staff was working quickly and constantly in the background. They were also very friendly. Perhaps we just came on a night where they were particularly busy.“

“My friends and I go to Rigoberto's often. They are open 24 hours and their food hits the spot if you have a craving for Taco Shop. In my opinion it is the best Taco Shop in the area. The staff is always kind and deal with my difficult order. I have stage four cancer and have a lot of food restrictions. Thanks to them, I have been able to keep my weight normal and I have never gotten sick from their food. I hope you will get a chance to eat there!“

“Their salsas are perfection, they even have them in big ketchup/mustard plastic bottles for you to enjoy at your table, and their pollo is to die for. I’m avoiding red meat so I’ve tried their pollo nachos but usually get the #9 (two pollo tacos w/ rice and beans) they might have the best beans and rice in San Diego. The experience they deliver is everything you could ask for and more, easily the best service I’ve received in any similar establishment. I discovered this spot in April it’s been my new Saturday tradition to stop by ever since.“

“An excellent taco truck for al pastor and birria tacos. There aren't enough taco trucks in San Diego and this is a welcome sight.The al pastor is off an actual spit (El Trumpo) and the birria is nice and juicy. The corn tortillas are of decent quality as well. The people working the truck are also really friendly!They are normally open on Sat/Sun around 3-9PM or 3-11PM at the Mira Mesa location (back parking lot of Best Buy), but have not been super consistent lately (they weren't there at all this past weekend).“

“Had takeout at least 15 times now over a few years. They deserve a review. Some of the best carne chips I’ve ever had. The beans are always the tell of a place. They are almost always really flavorful, smooth and not tight or wet. Breakfast burritos are a bit different and I’m a fan. The hash browns and crema are now something I sometimes want in a breakfast burro. The house red salsa has a onion and garlic kick. So good. Staff is always friendly.“

“I like to support small local businesses,this is a decent Mexican food place, chicken soup very flavorful beans and tortillas tasted like they were made from scratch. This isn't a 5 star place it's a mom n pop local hole in the wall the food is hot and fresh and on time when you call ahead.“

“Really good flavor!! We got pollo asado burritos and added rice, beans, sour cream and pico. Lots of flavor. Only complaint I have is the fact that the burritos literally only come with the meat and cheese. I don’t understand that. So after I added all the normal burrito ingredients the price was SO high. “We don't usually eat in the restaurant, or eat much fast food in general, but I have to say that today, I am so glad we did! We juat now arrived home and i could not wait to comment. The young man Roderick (Rod) Mayfield, behind the register is one of the smartest hiring decisions management has made. The level of genuine kindness and caring that my husband and i were met with and further witnessed as he assisted others needs to be commended. The most notable was when he assisted 2 elderly women, perhaps in their 80's and a bit slow with age, with an immeasurable level of patence and compassion, that very few people posess. This young man could not assist them quick enough with carrying their food to their table as one clearly walked with a cane. He has restored a bit of my faith in humanity with all the hatred going on in the world today. People should take note and emulate him, even a fraction of his behavior. I truly wish good things for him and that you fully acknowledge his impeccable level of customer service. Thanks Roderick! All the best, Mark and Allison. .the french toast people! :)“

“everytime i go to a jack in the box i ask them for a lot of ranch as much as they can give me and i always get 3-4 but at this one the cashier just knew i wanted ranch and gave me a total of 10 ranches best customer service ive ever had. also last night i came after the inside had closed and they took my order through the drive through and it was super fast and they were nice about it.“

“Rude and your order is never right. What a shame to be the only place open for a person like me. Who works till 2am and on the regular gets screwed over by a franchise restaurant. Spoke to the manager a few times and unfortunately was uncooperative , unbelievably rude and condescending. It amazes me how some people are in the fast food industry. If you can’t stand the heat. Get out of the kitchen.“
