“Walked into Ike’s thinking it was just gonna be a standard sandwich shop. I was helped by a worker named Chris! Super helpful guy! Also handsome too which is always a plus. Weird thing was as I saw him helping another customer in front of me that was being rude and downright mean. Chris kept looking up and saying “I’m new bro, I’m new to this and screaming as loud as he could ‘auuuugh’, he also kept telling the customer ‘you don’t deserve my mayo, you ain’t worthy of my mayo’” which I thought was the appropriate way of handling that situation at that time. As I walked up next in line Chris listened attentively as I explained what sandwich I wanted. As he was making my sandwich Chris and I struck up a conversation about my favorite hobby (and his too) Thugshaking! Chris I can tell is very intelligent and our conversation was just as intellectual as I thought it would be. If you need a good sandwich and good friendly conversations! Go to Ike’s! “I love this location! I’ve gone to plenty of subway location and this is my favorite in town. Staff is always welcoming and friendly especially Rosa and Evelyn. It’s also super clean! Every time I walk in, I see someone cleaning. I’m very satisfied with their customer service and highly recommend it.“

“Sandwhich was pretty good and the young staff seemed professional and friendly. The only thing though there was a older gentleman with his hair down in a biker jacket behind the counter hovering around the staff then hung around at the tables. Made me feel uncomfortable for the staff because it felt like he was just watching them work. I get it he might be the manager but let the staff breathe, they seemed to be doing great. No one likes a micro manager.“

It's sad it's overlooked just because it's a sandwich shop but you complain about a sandwich being $9 when clearly you can make a sandwich yourself at home that doesn't mean that you have to leave less tips in a jar just because a price was one thing a while ago you clearly pay $9 more than $9 for a combo meal somewhere else. The staff confirmed my order, which I found to be splendid. The quality of the food met my expectations. However, while waiting at the window, I noticed that the conversation among the staff was somewhat unexpected. While it was not offensive, it did feel slightly out of place for the setting. In summary, my overall experience was satisfactory.“
