Sky Valley Cellars Winery •

“My husband and I wanted to check out a local winery last weekend. We decided to go see Sky Valley Cellars~we chose their Petite Sirah. It was absolutely phenomenal! One of the best wines we've ever tasted. The ambience is beyond stunning as well! It's tranquil, peaceful and so very gorgeous. Michael was our server. Michael has an infinite knowledge regarding wine and their collection of wine as well.
We had a long day and really just needed to decompress and Sky Valley Cellars helped accomplish that. I highly recommend Sky Valley Cellars to everyone.“

“Great experience at VGJ. It was a beautiful days, the wines were delicious, I think his name was Jacque(?) (the husband) was so kind and I loved hearing his stories, and we got to play with "Bad dog #3" who is the prettiest lady ever.

Wines wise, this is a gem winery with great wines at affordable prices.
(+) Sauvignon Blanc - very gentle notes of minerality and smoothness
(+) Volantis - we bought a bottle of this cab blend
(+) Cab sauv
(+) Negroamaro
(+) Whiskey syrah - also bought a bottle of this to take home

Would definitely come again! Thank you for having us.“

Ramona Ranch Vineyard & Winery Wine Bar • $$

“Nice staff at this winery. We've been here multiple times. The latest time was for the Ramona Valley Wine Trails.
This winery is located on the eastern side of Ramona with an expansive view of the road off in the distance and the surrounding area.
I like their Tannat. I drink mostly reds so that's what I tried for my wine tastings. The others were ok.“

“A fantastic place to spend your time, easy going and friendly people feel like you're at the Promise land, You feel like their syrah is made for you. Point blank the best syrah I've had. A wine you could drink barefoot sitting on the hood of a Dodge or with the sweet bells of mercy drifting through the evening trees.“

Poppaea Vineyard and Winery Winery •
25643 Old Julian Hwy, Ramona

“This was a wonderful place to visit. The owner, retired British chemist. John Saunders, is a very pleasant host. He will tell you everything you want to know about his wine making process. He uses at least eight different Italian grapes which I counted. A few of the wines were a little too dry for our taste, but the BPx and the newly minted Barbera were excellent. The view is spectacular as well. Best value tasting out there for sure.“

Correcaminos Vineyard and Winery Winery • $$
1941 Lilac Rd, Ramona

“I have to say that Doug and Sue makes this winery a must visit. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and they both sat right down with our group and visited with us.

You don't get that sort of personal attention and friendliness at many businesses anymore. We learned a lot about their very interesting life from racing cars to owning a winery down in Valle de Guadalupe (Baja Mexico) before settling down here in Ramona.

They have a nice wine tasting menu with generous pours. We like their Malbec.
Oh! And they have wine slushies too! Those were delicious and perfect on a hot day.

They have comedy shows and lots of other events that take place at their winery. I hope to make it back out to their winery again soon.“

“Amazing! Our favorite place in Ramona. Alfredo treated us like family. The wines are unique and so clean — we did not experience headaches. We can’t drink wine bc of sensitivity to sulfates and additives. We each had 2 glasses and felt wonderful. No headaches! It’s a gem of a place. The real deal 🍷“

Rashelica Winery & Art Garden Wineries • $$
17948 CA-67, Ramona

“What I think is happening with all the 5 star reviews for this winery is that they're all based on the Art and atmosphere. Which are incredible and I definitely encourage everyone to check this winery out for that sole purpose. However, one must also leave a review in regards to service and the wine itself. Upon finding the random corner for a tasting, the guy said it was over and the two remaining bottles on the counter was what was left. I asked if I could purchase a new bottle and he said he would open it up and let us buy a glass. We finally sat down to enjoy our wine and I refrained from spitting it up on the ground. It was horrible! I would give this place 3 stars if it weren't for the unique surprise and surroundings. See this winery, yes. Drink the wine, if you're used to box wine from your youth I suppose.“
