“Today was a fundraiser for Guide Dogs of the Desert and our first time visiting this location. The manager and assistant manager were incredibly accommodating as we have a nut allergy with our group. They took time out of a busy rush to make sure everyone got ice cream that was safe. Wish more businesses would realize the importance of food safety while securing a customer for life. Great staff and amazing service!“
“This was the top search result from Google when I searched for 'gluten free' and 'vegan'. My friend with Celiac Disease would not do well here – no gluten free bread. There were many items with garlic, and since I am garlic sensitive, I was forced to break my eczema prevention no wheat diet. We ordered BLTAs and I added cracked cheese (I expected a vegan cheese slice) but it was like mushed cream cheese which made my sandwich thick, soggy and messy to eat. I was very impressed with the tofu bacon, so we came back three more times. I tried the Coachella Forever and Mini Greens salada. The key lime dessert was apparently very delicious. They have fridges and freezers full of take-away items, and a pantry shelves full of Japanese flavours and I really want to take some home with me. I bought the mango lime dressing, but it started sweating after three days, so I ended up throwing most of the jar away. We bought a blueberry pie, by it wasn't like a real pie, so we threw half of that away as well. BLTA is the only item we like and we will come back for it, the levain sour dough was chewy and I enjoy the tofu bacon a lot. If they offered gluten free bread or even use Vietnamese rice wrap on the sandwiches for a gluten free option, we would have eaten here many more times.“
“I was working for DoorDash and came in to pick up an order. The owners were so sweet and inspirationally positive. They wished me the best of luck making money for the day, had the food ready when I got there, and treated me to a bag of donut holes (which were delicious!). Such kindness. The person I delivered the food to, I told her and she said all of her dashers told her that this place is wonderful. I can see why. Will be back for some boba shortly.“
“Delicious gelato! Located on El Paseo across from Armand's, look for the big clock on the sidewalk, you can smell the vanilla sweetness of the homemade ice cream cones as you walk by. We had chocolate gelato and chocolate hazelnut gelato on crispy fresh cones. Yummmy!! They also have a display case of cakes and brownies and serve coffee-anyone desire affogato (espresso over gelato? ) Will definitely make this a habit as it is a perfect day eating gelato and strolling by the shops on El Pase. Enjoy!“
“A MUST stop.We stopped at the Cabazon outlets to check out a couple of stores and serendipitously ran into a new favorite. Oh my goodness. We, really I, got 2 1/2 pints and they were too good to eat slowly.Lemon, blackberry, streusel is like eating the best lemon/berry dessert but cold. And I also Honey Crème Brûlée and it was also amazing.Spent the week in the desert soaking up some sun and then went out of my way, about 30 mins, to find their other location in Palm Desert. The Lemon blackberry was so good I didn’t want to NOT get it and I also added Southern Banana pudding.I wish I had room to try all the flavors but these 3 were amazing and I got the chance to hear their story from starting in 2021 until now straight from the owner’s mouth.I wish you all the best and I hope this review will at least move the needle enough for someone to give you a try- you will NOT be disappointed. And of course pictures never do food or sky justice so take my word for it and stop in.And please lmk when you start shipping:)“
“I'm curious about why there are so few Lapperts ice cream shops in California. We literally drive here from San Diego to have this ice cream. The flavors are my favorite and you can't get anything quite like them from any other brand. My kids are obsessed too, perhaps it's a good thing that they are so scarce in location.“
“How does one describe this taste of heaven? wow! This dessert spot deserves awards to best toffee ice cream! Both the bar and the cup were insanely delicious! The specially of the cup is that you taste melted chocolate in your bites, but that chocolate quickly hardening is also why I'd get the bar next time. Idk. That's a preference. Either choice can't disappoint! I can't wait to be back!“
“Well, this ice-cream shop is close to the best, such us Baskin-Robbins.So if you are an ice cream lover and there's no Baskin-Robbins nearby, then you must come here. They have a variety of flavors. My favorites are strawberry cheesecake and pistachio ice-cream.Other yogurt places, for instance, Swirlyz, are sucks!I'm glad that this shop is in Palm Desert. They have a nice patio to enjoy your delicious desert.“
“Very very rarely do I hear my partner say something positive about food establishments. Today he walked back out to our car, gelato in hand and exclaimed “I love this place”. We come every Saturday before grocery shopping and will continue to do so. I love the panna cotta with either strawberry or lemon (owners recommendation) and today have a new favorite with the Carmel crème. They also have espresso for affogato and sidewalk table too. Love this place for their flavors, generous portions(for gelato) and most of all their hospitality.“
“I came today before the GUTS concert and the service and cookies were excellent! Despite the place being packed, the three girls working today were running the show and making sure everyone got fresh, delicious cookies! In particular the blonde and brunette girls made my experience even better, when they recommended the chocolate chip! It was so fresh and I am definitely coming back.“
“I asked my granddaughter, if she could only get 1 dessert, what would it be? Answer was COOKIE CRUMBLE. I loved the sampler box. The Cookies are big. We cut them in 4, so we could all try the 6 we picked. Hats off to the Chocolate Chip & the Sugar Cookie.“
“This is an amazing local ice cream joint in the Palm Springs center. It has a Hawaiian/island theme and carries several pacific island flavors such as Ube - delicious, lychee, etc. among others. The shakes are amazing as well as their ice cream. Delicious treat under the warm Palm Springs sun!“
“It's been my go to ice cream parlor for years in LaQuinta. Great ice cream. Price doesn't even matter. Until now. Favorite order has been their root beer float. 2 scoops vanilla and a can of root beer, A&W, I think. Last 3 times I've been there they have downsized to a tiny can of root beer. Same price. Not good. Worst part is if you're a float enthusiast, you blend the soda with the ice cream such that by the time you finish you have a brain freezing cold vanilla root beer shake! I've asked 3 staff to bring back the large can. So far nada. Is the owner listening? Please restore the large soda. Without it it's not really a float. Thanks for listening I hope to support your business in the future.“
“Always great, enough so to keep us going back most every time we are in the area. We’ve been going back for 5-6 years and sometimes it’s a couple times per year.Trust me, I don’t NEED a milk shake or the calories from said shake and I still keep returning.Delicious. Creative flavors. Nice presentation with the huge straw and donut o-ring.Give them a try- you won’t be disappointed.“
“We had a fantastic few day stay at La Serena. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and welcoming. The bathrooms are huge. We had an outdoor spa that we did not use, so no insights there. The location is great - walk to everything with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The breakfast (which was included) was very good, and we had excellent dinner and drinks at the restaurant one evening. The pool was really nice. My only complaint would be that there is not enough seating/lounges for guests. On one day at least two sets of lounges were marked reserved but no one was using them when we walked by the pool earlier and then returned to swim several hours later. So we had no seats while they sat open for more than an hour. At this price you should be able to fully use the pool.“
“We absolutely love this place….awesome ice cream, creative flavors, cozy and inviting atmosphere, and great new mural!Note to owners: From the outside, your store looks dark and appears closed. Anyone driving or walking by could easily think you are closed. When we went inside last night (Friday at 7:45 pm), we were the only two customers at that time. Inside, I noticed that the light in front of the main window was not on, making your store look even darker and not open from the outside. Your store could really benefit from some lighting that can be seen from the sidewalk and roadway, or perhaps something lit up in the window that gets the attention of pedestrians and cars passing by. I am sure there is a lot of foot traffic you could capitalize on from El Mirasol. Your ice cream, location, charm, and quality employees are too good to not be busy on a Friday night. Wishing you much success.“
“i came here a while ago (august 2023) and was pleasantly surprised! to be honest i didn't really have high hopes i just wanted some ice cream and it was the only place open late. the cashier marialy was really nice and helpful. the selection was overwhelming but they let me sample some and told me their recommendations. i ended up getting a lavender scoop and an ice cream sandwich. both i enjoyed. i came back recently and fell in love with their horchata ice cream and took a pint home! love the vibes of this little shop. you can tell there is attention to detail in every corner you look. AND THEY HAVE VEGAN FRIENDLY OPTIONS!!“
“Absolutely love Flannery Exchange and specially because Caramela Ice Cream is there! ? The lavender honey flavor was AMAZING! Would defiantly come again and recommend. Also take your time to walk around the space and see all the cute shops!“
“Best place in the valley it's a family owned small business with delicious food. Personally I am addicted to their Escamocha with everything! It's a MUST TRY and their Fresas con crema are always the best strawberries. Such a hidden gem!“
“Stopped in coming back from Yuma, because the reviews looked good. Awesome little spot to kill some time. Hawaiian themed, and so much great looking items on the menu. We had Dole Whip, because you don't see that very often. It was absolutely amazing. Service was great, and quick. We will be stopping again, to explore a few more items that caught our eye.“
“When we walked in, we were greeted by the most lovely woman with beautiful braids and pretty nails. She was new at the job but so helpful and charismatic! I wish I asked for her name to include in this review. The raspado machine didn't do a great job at crushing the ice evenly but their ice cream was delicious. Overall EXCELLENT customer service and delicious ice cream ? a little pricey but worth it“
“My boyfriend and I found this place on yelp and decided to come get dessert here. When we walked in we were WOWed! The ambiance is amazing! It's such a nice place and super clean!! The options for desserts are endless and everything looked so amazing!!! We got the Nothin' to Snicker About and holy moly it was delicious!!! It looked exactly like the picture! The owner was the one who helped us out and was so personable and kind! HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be back!!!“
“My mom used to buy me these when I was a kid every Thursday at the street fair downtown Palm Springs and now I bring my kids. The flavors are amazing and hit the spot in the summer but are delicious year round! I make sure to stop by every time I'm in town visiting!“
“Delicious! Fresh! All yummy food and Chelas!! If you know you know and if you don’t, aquí está Google reviews to let you know.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options. Fruits and veggies.Kid-friendliness: They have movies playing for the littles and music for the adults. I mean c’mon! Quien más does that? So awesome!!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking lot spaces“
“been here multiple times and it's always a good experience. the place has always been clean when we've gone and i love the selection of flavors to choose from and the toppings that you can add to your taste. me and my boyfriend together spend around $20 about ten each. i love getting the vanilla flavor with butterfinger pieces, peanuts, strawberry boba, strawberries, banana (if there's none there you can ask them to cut some up and they will) i tried the strawberry flavor today and it was yummy.“
“The customer service is top notch. We were given samples which were super fresh. We tried the vanilla shake and the ice cream bar, our personal opinion is the toffee icecream bar is the best since it has a bunch of the toffee as well as its dipped in a chocolate that turns into a hard shell.Bathroom available, tables to sit and enjoy treats and there is a glass window to see the production of the toffee!Cute, clean place to go solo, a date, with family or friends! They also have a rewards program.“
