“I have been taking ceramics classes here for 3 years. It's outstanding. Very well-run studio with lots of space, top quality equipment. The instructors are excellent, very knowledgeable and anxious to help you improve. The other students are a lot of fun to be with and are also very supportive and encouraging. Very reasonably priced classes. There are also lots of events, and gallery shows. It's a great resource for the community.“

“Our Sunday night takeout meal of Roasted Chicken and Cheese, corn and bacon macaroni gratin was delicious. Paired with a nice French white wine, it was almost as good as eating at the restaurant. Looking forward to future offerings.“

“If you’re a first timer like me, you might be doubtful entering the store just like my experience as it’s not like the door was open or you could peek through from outside. Nonetheless that’s probably the way you knew it’s legit as the store didn’t even come in gorgeous presentation or whatsoever. Just simple showcases and an attendant, with cash-only payment.

Nothing looked fancy, but abundant options of both mochi and manju. If you’re not familiar, prolly simplest way to differentiate is mochi comes in chewy texture while manju is more soft bread-alike. The filling they offered varied from red bean, white bean, even black one! I got their Kinako Mochi filled with black bean and covered in soy bean powder. One bite and WOW IT WAS BOMB! So good and totally cured my craving for the ones I had in Japan. I could totally tell the quality was stellar and it’s fully stuffed with luscious filling making the price tag paid certainly worth.“

“Cara Mia catered my mother-in-law's memorial service beautifully and on quite short notice. The owner was so incredibly kind and helped us pick out the right things to feed 30+ people, was super responsive via email, and even met us in person when we picked up our order to offer her heartfelt condolences. They went above and beyond to help make this difficult day easier and we were blown away not only by their compassion, but the quality of their baked goods! The memorial guests devoured everything and many of them remarked to us how great the food was :) I can't recommend Cara Mia enough and hope to visit again under happier circumstances. “Wow so freaking good!! Genuinely the best bowl I’ve ever had. I got the mixed grilled chicken bowl with lemon thyme sauce while my boyfriend got the same but with the chipotle sauce. Both were great! Pretty cute they wrote a little thank you note on the take out box too:)

If I were to complain about anything it would be to add a little more protein portion to eat bowl. Otherwise I highly recommend this place!“

“We love Yanagi. Fabulous and fresh sushi, great service and there always seems to be a table for us. My tiny humans, age 10 and 7, love their sushi. At Yanagi, they are always well taken care of.“

“The Dragonfly Thai is a local takeout/ eat -in establishment. Hubby and I ordered two different dishes. His was flavorful and well-received (Thai Kung Pao). Mine, Pad Thai with tofu, was rather bland and I needed to keep adding additional sauces to enhance the noodles. I ordered extra vegetables (paid extra) - and frankly it was hard to see what were the extra veggies and which were the ones that came with the dish. The staff were very kind and business was busy. I would go back - but not order the Pad Thai.“

“This place is truly a hidden gem! I have been coming here for over a decade and am never disappointed! This past Taco Tuesday was great, as always! Tacos and tortilla soup are my favorite Tuesday go-to...along with the award-winning house margarita - the absolute best...but the Silver Lightening is even better!
I strongly suggest people try the salads and the fusion part of the menu - the pasta dishes are amazing! Pasta California, Lasagna, the bosillios, ravioli - all freshly made locally. The potstickers and eggroll are great, too!
I love to meet the locals here, in addition to the new families that stop in. They have a full bar, and are family friendly with a kids menu.“

“The Baseline: For a desert shop the flavor of offerings must out-weigh the taste of pure sugar, there must be unique/rare offerings that drive me to go there, and the value of the desert must be balanced with the fact I probably just finished a meal.

Food: Tasty cupcakes with a slightly higher price tag. ATM them at 4AM if you need a cupcake fix. I got the Vietnamese Coffee cupcake which was good but a little too sugary. Need to try others to really make a final verdict.

Service: Great service from the employees and there is a self service ATM for cupcakes so it is 24/7 cupcakes if you need them.

Ambiance: It is a fun little shop that is straight to the point… getting a cupcake. This is a fun stop for a desert after getting a meal in the Manhattan Village.“

“Last night, I came to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was my first time eating here, but it was AMAZING! I love Italian food and the best part is it was authentic! Adrien and Sacha (the owners), were sooo helpful and friendly. I LOVED their French accent! They were also very patient with us since we were a pretty big group (and loud). The ambience felt like I was in Paris, lighting not too dark, but not too bright. Very romantic! I LOVE that they are child and stroller friendly. Most restaurants won’t accommodate having a stroller which can be frustrating. I will definitely come here again for a date night with my hubby! Highly recommend!!!!“
