“The rice they use for their Hainan chicken was perfection. They only serve it on Fridays, the rice came seasoned like how you would expect it from a traditional Hainan restaurant in Asia. The kaosoi was well seasoned with yellow curry. For dessert we got the mango sticky rice, the rice was a bit sweet but the coconut milk balanced it out.“

Since I was very hungry after work, I ordered more dishes. I personally liked their crab fried rice. It was not too salty or inexplicably sweet, but the Tom Yum Goong noodle soup was of a lower standard and didn't taste like Tom Yum soup at all. What’s a little surprising is that the quality of the desserts they serve is actually very good. Sticky Rice Mango is my favorite dessert. Although the mango is not sweet enough, I am still willing to give it high marks. The fried banana with coconut ice cream just won my wife's appreciation.“

“Who would’ve thought that some of the best Thai food in the U.S. is hiding in Harbor City? I really wish I’d discovered Warin Thai Restaurant sooner—I'd be a regular by now! Instead, I kept going back to what I thought was the best Thai spot in L.A., all while unknowingly driving right past Warin Thai every time. Now that I’ve found it, I have to say, this place is a hidden gem.

To be honest, the restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside. But that’s pretty much the case with most places around here. Warin Thai is located in an old, modest strip mall, but let’s be real—you’re not here for the ambiance. You’re here for the incredible food, and trust me, it’s well worth it.

The menu at Warin Thai isn’t as huge as some other Thai restaurants, but it doesn’t need to be. There’s more than enough amazing options, from soups (which you can get by the bowl or pot), to appetizers like crispy chicken wings, fresh Thai salads, stir-fries, noodles, curries, and even dessert like mango sticky rice. Prices are pretty reasonable, too—about $8-14 for soups, starters, salads, and desserts, and $13-19 for the mains. And believe me, every bite is fantastic.

Every dish was phenomenal. As someone with a Thai background who’s been to Thailand countless times, I’ve got to say I was seriously impressed. Thai people usually aren’t easily wowed by Thai food in the U.S., but this place totally nailed it.

It’s hard to pick a favorite because everything was just that good, but if I had to choose one, the Glass Noodle Salad really stood out. It was honestly one of the best salads I’ve ever had—juicy, sweet, spicy, and packed with flavor. It’s a must-order for sure.

I found Pacific Rim Thai Kitchen near my hotel because I had already eaten In-N in the morning. -Out of the burger, I want to eat it with white rice! Because Thai food has fried pork rice, which is very on point.

Very tasty and strong. Came across this gem by accident. Did a search for restaurants nearby our hotel and this was within walking distance. Clean and modern establishment with a very helpful and friendly staff. Appears to be family run.

I have recommended this place and have returned a couple of times since my first review. It's always fun. The place has great energy very clean and always enjoyable.

To be honest I have not had a sit-down dinner here but can imagine just buy the quality of the drinks and the appetizers it would be amazing.

They offer great happy hour appetizers and drinks. Tried a couple of appetizers which were excellent. And the drinks were amazing. I will definitely return when I am near the area again.

And will make sure it's during their happy hour times. Very nice perfect for the happy hour drinks and appetizers.

“The Dragonfly Thai is a local takeout/ eat -in establishment. Hubby and I ordered two different dishes. His was flavorful and well-received (Thai Kung Pao). Mine, Pad Thai with tofu, was rather bland and I needed to keep adding additional sauces to enhance the noodles. I ordered extra vegetables (paid extra) - and frankly it was hard to see what were the extra veggies and which were the ones that came with the dish. The staff were very kind and business was busy. I would go back - but not order the Pad Thai.“

The location is the far corner of the shopping center back near the in and out burger and mini IHOP. This is some great tasting Thai food with big flavors.. the prices are reasonable. “Since I'm a very picky Japanese food eater, I tend to avoid anything that might be Japanese where it's not 100% Japanese. That said, I do enjoy the Thai food here. It's decent and filling. The staff are polite and I like it because it's in walking distance for me.

I have tried some Japanese-ish food like the lobster rolls or teriyaki chicken. Those dishes weren't bad if you consider them more California Asian cuisine. The prices are what you might expect these days for a spot like this. They do have lunch time specials so I think those are worth making the trip if you're in the area and want some decent Thai etc or something different.“

Food Items I Recommend:

-Fried Chicken Wings: they take a bit longer, but they are so worth the wait and I could tell they were fried in clean grease. No funny aftertaste.

-Chicken Satay: big, juicy portions of grilled chicken breast meat served with a yummy, homemade peanut sauce. Delicious.

- Tomato Fried Rice: So simple, yet so tasty. The tomatoes give it an unctuous quality.

- Basil Fried Rice: Very well seasoned and balance fried rice with a slight kick.

- Thai Rama Chow Mein: Simple, but delicious.

I'd seen Thai Rama a lot over the years and finally decided to go in with my bf.

Everything we had was delicious and made fresh to order. Our waitress was so kind and hospitable, it was refreshing. Nowadays people are so quick to rush you through your meal and force the check upon you. It was so lovely being able to just sit , eat, enjoy the conversation and different sauces and seasonings they brought out on the caddy. The atmosphere is very simple, but the food is what I'd be back for.

The portions are amazing for the price as well. Another random thing to note is the place has been in business for over 40 years!“
